I was abused as a child and as soon as I was old enough to get myself out of that nightmare of a life, I did. If you don't respect yourself no one is going to do it either.

In the ML's defence, he did think that the FL was in love with someone else. He had already planned to divorce if the person she was in love with came forward. It wasn't that he didn't love her, he was just trying to make sure that he didn't do anything in the relationship that he would regret later if she decided to divorce him for the supposed other person that she loved. That being said, that does not give him the right to stand by and let his family, and the supposed mistress abused her, and disrespect her like that. As her husband, he should have stepped forward and shut that down. Even if he thought she was in love with someone else, he still should have had basic human respect for her.

A twist on the standard "heiress pretending to be poor housewife gets divorced and everybody regrets it when they find out" plot. The husband really don't want a divorce, his "mistress" is his dead brothers pregnant girlfriend, he thinks his wife was in love with someone else because he saw her hugging her (unknown to him) brother and everything is more or less a misunderstanding. He is pining for his wife the whole drama and also stands up for her. I found that refreshing. But with that said, the ending was rushed and even if he risked his life to save hers I personally needed some more grovelling before she would take him back. But it is a drama after all and they want to wrap it up fast and happily... Hopefully they never see the husbands horrible family again, because then they would more or less be at the same place the drama started, they didn't learn anything or changed.

I've seen similar story many times and expect the ending would be different - and yet the FL always return to ML although he has a trust issue and hide things from her that led them to separation. I still don't understand why ML never explain to his wife that the woman actually pregnant with his dead brother and even agreed to divorce.. where is his sincerity and love? He may love her but if she's not the rich daughter would he ask for her forgiveness and ask her back?

Good improvement on an old story. The FL gets to use her support and influence to take down the wicked people. That's anything but a happy ending. Going back to him and his awful mother and sister? It's ridiculous on her part. A happy ending would have been her telling him no, or being happy by herself or finding a new worthy man.

FL forgave him after all he did?! He also humiliated her in front of everyone by making her take off the clothes and jewelry before leaving the house, in thinking she wouldn’t do it in order to divorce him. Worse part is that he allowed the pregnant mistress to be cruel to the wife! The actress who is the FL acted well, but this storyline was not a good one for her. Not worth watching.
I've seen similar story many times and expect the ending would be different - and yet the FL always return to ML although he has a trust issue and hide things from her that led them to separation. I still don't understand why ML never explain to his wife that the woman actually pregnant with his dead brother and even agreed to divorce.. where is his sincerity and love? He may love her but if she's not the rich daughter would he ask for her forgiveness and ask her back?

Good improvement on an old story. The FL gets to use her support and influence to take down the wicked people. My disappointment is that she did not dump that ridiculous ex-husband and his relatives for good. Let's hope she has a plan for those no-good people later. (maybe break the engagement before they get remarried??!!)
A sequel with a strong revenge plot and a worthy love interest would be good.

I don't know where most of you are from and I'm not making this a racial or a societal downfall, however, my personal view on these dramas where the abuse of completely unbelievable, all I have to say that as an individual and person, I respect myself too much to let anyone do this to me. I was abused as a child and as soon as I was old enough to get myself out of that nightmare of a life, I did. If you don't respect yourself no one is going to do it either.
