I've seen similar story many times and expect the ending would be different - and yet the FL always return to ML although he has a trust issue and hide things from her that led them to separation. I still don't understand why ML never explain to his wife that the woman actually pregnant with his dead brother and even agreed to divorce.. where is his sincerity and love? He may love her but if she's not the rich daughter would he ask for her forgiveness and ask her back?

A twist on the standard "heiress pretending to be poor housewife gets divorced and everybody regrets it when they find out" plot. The husband really don't want a divorce, his "mistress" is his dead brothers pregnant girlfriend, he thinks his wife was in love with someone else because he saw her hugging her (unknown to him) brother and everything is more or less a misunderstanding. He is pining for his wife the whole drama and also stands up for her. I found that refreshing.
But with that said, the ending was rushed and even if he risked his life to save hers I personally needed some more grovelling before she would take him back. But it is a drama after all and they want to wrap it up fast and happily...
Hopefully they never see the husbands horrible family again, because then they would more or less be at the same place the drama started, they didn't learn anything or changed.
I shall never befriend anyone who is like M1, a mean and ruthless husband who demands his wife (who is leaving him) to take off and leave behind gifts from him, particularly when it is happening in front of so many people. He should have known that she will end up with wearing undergarments only when the weather outside is cold. He treats his wife disdainfully and in a lack of care.

It's one of those where I hoped she wouldn't forgive him.
Good improvement on an old story. The FL gets to use her support and influence to take down the wicked people. My disappointment is that she did not dump that ridiculous ex-husband and his relatives for good. Let's hope she has a plan for those no-good people later. (maybe break the engagement before they get remarried??!!)
A sequel with a strong revenge plot and a worthy love interest would be good.

A "I'm sorry" and he learned to cook, that was his character arc?! Cooking is what does it for the females there because it is used so often in this type of scenarios. How does that tell you he knows right from wrong and stands with truth and integrity above gain? How does it show he has cultivated better discernment so he won't fall pray again and jeopardize the marriage unit and your safety? That's trust and forgiveness anyone can by with a penny.
One of the things I've learned researching this level of the C-drama industry is, when you see certain male actors play the scumbag lead 99.9% of the time the FL will go back or the ML will do something heroic to cause endearing feels from the FL even if he ends. The male figure is god in life so of course he is god in acting; and if the actor has weight therefore an image to protect it will affect all roles he takes. He will never play a antagonist character that ends in a way that leaves a bad impression (any level of female actor can though). They will 99.9% of the in last minutes make him look good. The value of acting and storytelling is lower than the value of maledom, image, and the status quo. What I find funny is these antagonists roles never have a character arc before they receive all the flowers, love, and gold; all that happens is they learn some truths then BAM the next scene they get to be a hero and/or a "I'm sorry" and it's called good and forgiven.
Movies do a better job of hiding this mentality but only by so much.

FL forgave him after all he did?! He also humiliated her in front of everyone by making her take off the clothes and jewelry before leaving the house, in thinking she wouldn’t do it in order to divorce him. Worse part is that he allowed the pregnant mistress to be cruel to the wife! The actress who is the FL acted well, but this storyline was not a good one for her. Not worth watching.
She could give him another chance because she fought against him every chance she’s had. Good on her. She still made it too easy for him though. Once I lost the baby it’s all over but the shouting.

What hacks me off the most about this drama storyline is ..the ML is a pig! He knew the mistress baby was his brothers but as he says he wanted to avoid unnecessary trouble so he just assumed the child is his. So for this he buys impossibly luxurious jewelry for her? Leaves his wife with no explanation?? Abuses her because he thought she hugged another man ( which was her brother) and is jealous. She has no idea he thinks she cheated. He just wants a reason to hurt her over and over!
