- Hey guys! HyRoolLegend coming at you guys with another video of Cookie Run Kingdom. Crimson Coral Cookie, our latest Super Epic, has joined the Kingdom with her "guest" sisters! Even at a 0-star promotion that I tested her out with, she clearly showed the potential to become the next BEST tank in the game. The only restriction is that she cannot be used with any other front cookies. Let me know what you guys think about her!

I don't get why Devsisters doesn't like to treat Dark Cacao with respect. Instead of buffing him, they make the other two get overshadowed by everyone? Why? The guy needs a massive rework in the next update

Yeah, the idea for Dark Cacao is very good, but I never used him after midgame because he is out classed.
I miss when Super Epics werent spammed every update leading to a new legend/ancient/dragon
true... i mean, i could understand clotted cream and oyster being close when it came to their releases, but it was *months* before we had sherbet. not to mention their gacha system was kinda better ngl.

Friendly reminder this is the 9th month of devsis releasing a major update that gave us a super epic/dragon/legendary or buffed an old cookie and broke the meta...
I did 37 pulls got 3 epics ( pulling her is easier than pulling a epic 💀💀💀 )
she does give a lot of buffs, and dude at 0* she is quite tanky, even without almonds! definitely going to be a meta cookie but we're limited to one cookie in the frontline, which kinda makes up for all of the op buffs she applies
Mine is 0* and she took no dmg agaist a 5* lvl75 wildberry

I’m really disappointed, not because she’s weak, but because of the opposite. I felt like with Shining Glitter they got the perfect super epic. She wasn’t weak like Oyster, but you could thrive without her unlike stardust, you didn’t NEED to invest in her but she’d be a great choice if you did. She was better than most epics but she wasn’t power creeping the game too much, with Crimson Coral it feels like they took it right back up to 11. Shining Glitter didn’t take moonlight or stardust out of the meta, but Crimson Coral will likely be the only tank used. Plus they are already power creeping the ancients again, are they going to get another buff in years time? The rock festa update was amazing and felt like one of the best of the whole game, but this new cookie has destroyed my faith sadly. I still love this game, but I went from ignoring and being kind of annoyed by the people calling it p2w to kind of agreeing with them, that’s just my opinion though, I respect anyone who doesn’t feel that way, I just feel like super epics should be better than epics but not as good as legends/ancients instead of the best cookies in the game and seemingly immune to power creep (I’m happy sherbet is still meta, but the fact that he might last longer than HollyBerry is crazy)
Also I really don’t like them forcefully shoving HB out of the meta, usually a cookie will just slowly fade from the meta but HollyBerry was the best cookie in the game, and it feels like between also being a defense and not giving her buffs when there are multiple tanks, they are trying to kill HollyBerry right after making her better

Sea Fairy’s Crystal jam now has more use, considering just how stacked this new Super Epic is. However, Black Pearl is no surprise, still stronger. Black Pearl was already the stronger legendary in base, with no jams probably due to age, and the fact she also got the buff, combined with the fact Sea Fairy’s biggest problems were not addressed. She’s still super squishy with a long cooldown. However, there’s still one more cookie to come in the update, and perhaps their synergy with Sea Fairy will elevate her further. I’d really just hate to see Sea Fairy fall even further, considering the fact devsisters know she exists, with the fact she just got an update and has a legendary costume. Though, they probably like black Pearl more considering she already has 2 legendary costumes and got a buff so early into her time into the game.

On the other hand, no Pitaya or Tea Knight. 2 of the 3 strongest cookies in arena atm. She might be OP for PvE tho. I can see stacking her+Sea Fairy+Squink+Caviar working for Abyss...

What were Devsisters cooking?? 😭She's a defense cookie meaning that she already has high health and defense, but she's just also given 30% dmg resist automatically even without the coral armor💀. Meaning that you can probably easily give her over 100% dmg resist (or at least over 90% dmg resist) with full solid almond toppings and other buffs from the kingdom (which is already insane in itself), but she's basically like a charge cookie as well with the amount of dmg she puts out as well (most of the time out damaging even some other super epics such as clotted cream or shining glitter). She ALSO gives tons of good ally buffs when it's just her up front (making a lot of 1-2-2 comps viable).
So uh, conclusion? --> Crimson Coral Cookie seems BUSTED and you should use her!
Although who knows, maybe I'll be wrong since I'm not much of a statistics person and don't exactly know what I'm talking about half of the time.
DMR caps at 85% no matter what. IIRC, the reason the Hollybuff was so good was that her dmg focus is the only thing in the game that bypasses that. She's busted by herself, but when you realize you can't really use Pitaya or Tea Knight with her while retaining that power, she becomes much more reasonable. Also, like anyone who spams shields, Zap is your friend. And the last 2 updates came with ALOT of zap

Will sea fairy be a bit more useful now? since her crystal jam buffs water attack. I really feel like water comp has a lot of potential!

it just boils down to whether you want to go crimson and lose pitaya or hb and be able to use pitaya

When she alone: The power of being a introvert gives me a essay amount of dmg resist
I think hollyberry will still have *some* relevance I’m the meta as her damage focus is multiplicative with damage resist whereas the dr that CC provides receives deminishing returns and even might reach the 85% damage resist cap with how much she is giving to the team
Also, Crimson doesn't play nice with Pitaya and Tea Knight. 2 of the 3 most powerful cookies in arena atm. Don't get me wrong, Crimson is way overloaded for a non legendary, but in addition to your point, she also can't be used with the two 'I will slaughter the entire enemy team at 30 seconds' cookies. And pretty sure Zap will hurt her significantly...
Looks like power creep is alive and well in CRK too. Looking like FFBE with every release that comes out now...
It's not possible to prevent powercreep in a gacha game.

They gave us some crit resist cookies on Summer Soda Rock Festa, but it wasn't enough, so now they are releasing a mega buffed tank...

the skill description is definitely a bit confusing as to what effects apply to who and when 😅 so is coral armour straight up Dmg Resist, Dmg Reflection, Def Reduction Resistance, Curse Protection & Crit Dmg Down to EVERY COOKIE?

Rip my gm2 grind lost all chances because standard comps require really good stats which I dont have so i relied on scam and brute scam mostly now i have no chance for gm2 big rip
@@godluck5434yeah same for me, I hope arena in the top 200 doesn't change much because with 6 days left I need to stay in gm2 with my tea knight comps, if I get crimson coral it will be better though.

Gm3 is easy enough but gm2 is a different story only 200 ppl need coral which 200 ppl isnt alot thats the amount of people who will get her in 1 day and knowing how she's broken on paper and ingame she's being used faster then ever and worst of all you can't scam corals
i got her after my second 10 pull, i was so happy aaaa, i havent had ANY LUCK with these featured banners since hollyberry's!!!, i always had to wait till i filled up the pull bar to get the secured cookie, so yay!
I see a slight difference between crimson coral herself and between Hollyberry and crimson coral
1. When there's 1 defense cookie crimson corals voice looks normal when shes alone
2. When there's 2 defense cookies crimson corals voice is more light like her voice kinda sounda like a chipmunk

Dmn thats a full thesis of a skill description. I like that she is restricted considering the buff that she gives to allies is very gud.
I got so lucky with Crimson Coral. I got her on a 10 pull with also royal Margerite.

from the skill description in the patch notes i thought that she would be awful, then i was proven wrong when they changed the coral armor from knockback resistance to damage resistance and damage reflection..

I just levels up my Pitaya to 75… are you kidding me? I spent so much resources, saving up everything for Pitaya… and he can possibly be replaced in the meta? Pitaya and Hollyberry are Dragon and Ancient respectfully… and crimson coral is SUPER EPIC… Pitaya should be better… Super Epic cookies (some of them) seem better then Legendarys and possibly Ancient Cookies… THIS. IS. INSANE.

I managed to get a shining glitter from a single pull in corals gacha idk why my luck works the way it does LOL. I really hope I get her soon, or at least get her when I (if we can) pull for frill jellyfish.
I genuinely wish that they would change the background for super epics. For some reason, it doesn't work with all cookies unlike the backgrounds for epics, rares, and commons, etc. Whenever I look at it, it always screams Creme Republic, to me at least.

This woman is ABSOLUTELY insane. My build on her is full chocolate, 60 lvl, 0 stars and she works way better than my lvl 65 2 stars full almond Holyberry. I managed to clear raging sea only after i got her

@HyRoolLegend when you upped crimson coral from 0-75 and skill levels to 75, I saw you have over 200k power (without toppings). I did the same and only got 135k power (both at 75). Any ideas why? Quite a significant difference in power. Was just wondering about it. Ps: love your reviews man, my number 1 'go to' for this game. Thx

Wait, if she's alone in the frontline, and you manage to get 55% damage reduction through toppings, and get the whistle buff, does she become virtually unkillable?
No cap is 85% so its not possible get 100%

I think he said that if you have neither and want to focus on general content then go for moonlight! But if you are past 10-31 and mostly focus on arena then go for BP!

maybe not? since you typically want space donut's def reduction to deal more dmg. but idk. maybe there'll actually be an abyss team utilizing crimson coral.
