that first commercial is eerily prophetic because the xbox birthed modern gaming with xbox live and competitive multiplayer as well as bringing bethesda to consoles
We got the XBOX in 2001. Came with Sega GT 2002/JSRF and Amped. Even the main menu and menu sounds were incredible. Played that thing for over 20 years

I see this and I forgot how much I played more games on the original Xbox like MechAssault Doom 3 Munchs Oddysee and both Halos than I did on PS2 but I think my fondness for the PS2 was due to Kingdom Hearts Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry. It’s funny now because now that I have a Series X I can play those games plus some of the old Xbox games I missed out on lol

By the way, can we please bring back the PGR series? Those games were so freaken good. I like what Forza is doing now but I miss the simplicity of racers back then.
