I mean there are cases where there are references to TTS. It's also possible that Titus can either be an Emperor's chosen champion, a living Saint whom the Emperor is personally watching over, or it could even be possible he's a future vessel for the Star Child (the Emperor's humanity), or anything else. Whatever Titus' true purpose may be, it's clear that the Emperor is secretly watching him and his growth. He's one of the few that understands Guilliman, he's open minded, and he's not bound by the book like the others. His devotion and willpower are unmatched. Whatever the case, this is the only time I feel like WH is alive again, knowing that the Emperor truly is still hanging in there.
Figured something was up since Titus gets bathed in golden light when he throws his fist in the air, you don't show that off as a one and only mechanic for no reason. The Emperor has his eye on this one's safety, Gillyman's gonna have one interesting report when the Emperor finally says "fuck it" and shines his psychic might through Titus so Chaos sees first hand, he's no "Corpse Emperor" but a golden middle finger who's still VERY active in the field.
Most likely Big E, but there are other possibilities as well: 1. King in Yellow. 2. Sanguinius (very unlikely) 3. Another Primarch (very unlikely) 4. Another Perpetual. 5. An Aquilan Guard (may as well be Big E in that case) 6. Star Child. 7. A powerful Ynnari Farseer like Eldrad.
There's already a 'Space Marine The Board Game' sold with the the Titus miniature from the first game. Sold at target (if you can find one) by Games Workshop.
it's ironic how the God Emperor of Mankind who never cared for faith in his later years, became not just a god as a symbol. But he had to work as a God. Talk about judgement... from God HAHAHAH
Yup, you could say it was divine irony from the creator of the universe at play on the emperor. Forced to intervene through what anybody would see as acts of god and divine intercession.
In the lore the Emperor, while yes openly hating being called a god, pretty much was a god. Even when he was "alive". If you look at the feats he's done there's no way he isn't a god.
The Emperor never wanted to be one, however it is one of his plans when everything else has failed. Malcador and The Emperor has prepared for this particular timeline since the beginning.
He is basically implied to be Jesus himself now. That's why there's no abrahamic god in the warp, instead all the faith power goes to him since Jesus was one of his many identity 40,000 years ago.
I was happy at the end of the campaign. "Rise son of guilliman" Thought it was the Emperor. Because ea sounded like the official voice saying they shall be my finest warriors,... Then I saw the subtitle Marneus Calgar. I thought it was weird, it's not even in the picture but it's ok.
The people very very veeeery deep into the Lore, silently knows how Titus resist Raw Chaos in their hands, but we can't say nothing, we want to SEE that moment.
If that is indeed the emperors voice then Titus is a champion of the emperor and means hes going to be ine of the most important figures in the fight against Chaos.

@tylerkalish7917 no it's not. They can claim all they want but this is the equivilant to a reprint after you shipped your book. It's lazy and i refuse to accept it for the trash work it is
@reaper_exd7498 I respect your opinion, but this lore has been developing for about 40 years. Things change and move around. Like it or not, it's lore.
I love that Titus is actually badass. He doesn't have any unneeded dialogue or quirky dialogue. Very few games could resist making a protagonist not say a joke every other minute.
This is epic! Ngl my headcanon now is that Titus actually died this time, and the Big E just came in with a psychic defibrillator kit and brought him back as a thank you. 😂
News in the Imperium today as the Emperor woke up explicitly to laugh in Leandros’ punk face, get a psychic coffee, and drop his trousers at the Rift before returning to desiccated slumber.
Except no one but him heard the voice and there's no real evidence to say it is the emperor and Leandros job is to keep a constant suspicion of everyone in the company
Titus is one of the most devout and good marines in the current setting. Even though he was completely innocent, he took his punishment like a real man and never complained, scorned about his punishment and wavered in his devotion or duty. The Emperor does protect!
"In the eternal twilight of a celestial battlefield, where stars weep and cosmic winds howl, shines the edict: "It is better to die for the Emperor than live for yourself." Like a phoenix bound in flames of devotion, better to immolate one’s essence, offering it upon the altar of divine will, than to flea in the shadow of selfishness. Each martyrdom becomes an indelible stroke on the cosmic canvas of righteousness, their spirits shedding mortal coils to become celestial sentinels in the God-Emperor's undying legion. The soul’s transcendence from temporal existence to eternal vigilance becomes a sanctified sacrifice, where mortality flees and immortality blooms, fertile and fierce under His omnipotent gaze."
The God Emperor to Titus: You are everything I love about my son Guilliman The God Emperor to Leandros: You are everything I despise about my son Guilliman The God Emperor to Guilliman: Clap those Eldar cheaks, I want grandbabies!
It's heavily implied. Considering the subtitles no longer say "Calgar," and considering no other character really has the ability to revive someone from death by a warp vortex, I don't really see who else it could be.
Nope, Emperor does nothing for Titus. His resistance to warp is his determination to do his duty. One high post dev from Sabre did FAQ on his twitter where he very clearly said, its not Big E speaking/doing anything.

@@reaper_exd7498 retcon or not, it was a good addition.
Rise, Son of Guilliman.
You got caught trying to cross the warp, like us, and that thief over there
*camera pans to Leandros*
“Listen Titus I need you alive to deal with that Leandros. That Smurf needs a gargamel smackdown”
-The Emperor Himself
"THE EMPEROR LIVES!" Titus needs to say this as he wakes up.
Titus: "In death my duty ends!"
Emperor: "Nu-uh"
Golden middle finger lol
I'm gonna need artwork of Big E wearing a golden middle finger pope hat now
*Tzeench impersonating the Emperor in this moment to further set Titus up for corruption in SM3*
Imurah: "HAVE YOU EVER FELT THE LIGHT OF YOUR EMPEROR?"
Titus: "Give me a few more minutes."
"Rise, Son of Guilliman".
:The Big E.
Titus had a Dante experience except its the Emperor
Most likely Big E, but there are other possibilities as well:
1. King in Yellow.
2. Sanguinius (very unlikely)
3. Another Primarch (very unlikely)
4. Another Perpetual.
5. An Aquilan Guard (may as well be Big E in that case)
6. Star Child.
7. A powerful Ynnari Farseer like Eldrad.
Titus deserves his own miniature at this point
He does...starting tomorrow there's a 11 piece box set with Titus and 10 tyranids that you can only pickup in GW stores...if I recall correctly
It’s coming.
@@Wolffebourne noice
Yo recasters get to work
There's already a 'Space Marine The Board Game' sold with the the Titus miniature from the first game.
Man Emperor of Mankind
This game is so fucking good man, every atom of this game I cherish.
Living Saint Titus would explain a lot
Emperor to Cadian: "Rise, Soldier of Humanity."
Cadian: "FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!!"
Press E to pay respect !
E
bro I love the EMPEROR so much
Titus: so I was saved by the god emperor!?😮
Leandros: WHAT!? (Mind explodes then falls to the ground)
Glad to see I’m not the only one who gets delayed audio in cutscenes
I was happy at the end of the campaign. "Rise son of guilliman" Thought it was the Emperor. Because ea sounded like the official voice saying they shall be my finest warriors,... Then I saw the subtitle Marneus Calgar. I thought it was weird, it's not even in the picture but it's ok.
I stood up out of my chair when the Emperor told me to rise.
Titus just Redeemed the ultramarines in the eyes of everyone
The people very very veeeery deep into the Lore, silently knows how Titus resist Raw Chaos in their hands, but we can't say nothing, we want to SEE that moment.
If that is indeed the emperors voice then Titus is a champion of the emperor and means hes going to be ine of the most important figures in the fight against Chaos.
Seems lazy and annoying to me. Calgar is already lore stong enough to be capable of what he did. The guy ripped the head off a traitor titan bare handed. Im tired of the uber marines getting all the craZiest lore and adventures. Never liked em when they launched and still dont like em today.
Big E said to him.
“WAKE THE FUCK UP SMURF! WE GOT SPACE MARINE 3 TO MAKE!”
Guilaman: the emperor called me tool and he actually spoke something coherent to you!
Even if it’s not cannon in the game I’m still using it as my headcannon that the Emperor himself was honoring the deeds of Titus. ❤
It's cannon
@tylerkalish7917 no it's not. They can claim all they want but this is the equivilant to a reprint after you shipped your book. It's lazy and i refuse to accept it for the trash work it is
@reaper_exd7498 I respect your opinion, but this lore has been developing for about 40 years. Things change and move around. Like it or not, it's lore.
most people don't realize how big this is in the 40K Universe as a whole... EXTREMELY few people have actually heard the voice of The Emperor
Sanguinius: STOP COPYING ME DAD!
I love that Titus is actually badass. He doesn't have any unneeded dialogue or quirky dialogue. Very few games could resist making a protagonist not say a joke every other minute.
THE EMPEROR FRAGGING PROTECTS
Dev: How many chads you want in one cutscene and how epic you want it to be?
GW: FOR THE EMPEROR!!!
This is epic!
Ngl my headcanon now is that Titus actually died this time, and the Big E just came in with a psychic defibrillator kit and brought him back as a thank you. 😂
Press F to "For the Emperor"
The Emperor protects!
News in the Imperium today as the Emperor woke up explicitly to laugh in Leandros’ punk face, get a psychic coffee, and drop his trousers at the Rift before returning to desiccated slumber.
Wow, was just reading the comments the other day and someone pointed this out. Cool to see the devs actually patched it.
Titus is the mother fuckin GOAT
Basically Big E has been protecting Titus since Space Marine 1
Now what if, Titus is being corrupted by all that chaos warp-fuckery and this is tzeentch still playing the old mind games.
Fighting on through the webway back in the Horus Heresy must have been like that, but 30k times worse lol
This is why they say, "The Emperor protects."
Holy Terra!
Emperor has a TTS!
Eh a question what is TTS?
@@wathh2033 Text to speech
About fucking time
"get the fuck up smurf boy, or papa smurf will never have time to make rowboat leave me alone"
THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!
Titus is the emperors best boy.
I always thought it was the Emperor .
Having to hear the sound of the Emperor in this millennium is like winning a lottery, considering how spread out his mind and shattered his soul is.
And somehow Leandros is still like “Nuh-uh, you're still a heretic!”
Except no one but him heard the voice and there's no real evidence to say it is the emperor and Leandros job is to keep a constant suspicion of everyone in the company
@@wintertrooper7918 All excellent points. However, have you considered Leandros is a bitch?
"Hmmmmpf....five more minutes...."
*hits big E's head like it's the snooze button*
This makes Leandros that much more of a Bitchy Hater now that THE EMPEROR addressed Titus after he destroyed the artifact
Titus is one of the most devout and good marines in the current setting. Even though he was completely innocent, he took his punishment like a real man and never complained, scorned about his punishment and wavered in his devotion or duty. The Emperor does protect!
1:34 It can't be...
Leandros needs some self reflection, even the emperor is on Titus’ side 😂
Right?! He always says Titus!!
So he's a living saint then? Isn't it about time he got his rank back and old skull face got handed over to the inquisition as an agent of chaos.
Legion of the damned?
The God Emperor to Titus: You are everything I love about my son Guilliman
The God Emperor to Leandros: You are everything I despise about my son Guilliman
The God Emperor to Guilliman: Clap those Eldar cheaks, I want grandbabies!
The fact that the EMPEROR OF MANKIND SPOKE TO TITUS DIRECTLY when he had to STRUGGLE to speak to guilliman speaks volumes about who he likes more
To be fair, He was a lot more broken and crazy. Didn't his soul essentially split apart?
The emperors soul was a lot more disjointed when he spoke to big G. He’s more conscious now and slowly pulling himself back together.
I'm just happy to finally hear the Emperors canon voice
Big E: "Get the fuck up Titus! the rest of the Ultrasmurfs still need you."
"You will die when the Emperor wills it, not before*
Wait
The emperor actually said that to Titus?
Damn, Leandros must be crying like a betch right now
He needs his own minature right now
He has, GW recently released it

There is nothing that can confirm it to be the emperor
If Calgar ever dies, CHAPTER MASTER TITUS!
Cato Sicarius would need to die too, and so would a few more. Titus is too far down the line of succession.
I KNOW IT !
When you really really need an apothecary there but its just calgar lol
really? it's the emperor talking to him???
Cant be anyone else
It could be my dad
It's heavily implied. Considering the subtitles no longer say "Calgar," and considering no other character really has the ability to revive someone from death by a warp vortex, I don't really see who else it could be.
Nope, Emperor does nothing for Titus. His resistance to warp is his determination to do his duty. One high post dev from Sabre did FAQ on his twitter where he very clearly said, its not Big E speaking/doing anything.
In wh40k you never get an answer, just a " it might be""
Plot Armour via the ritual sacrifice of a thousand faceless Psykers to the Emperor every day.
Does anyone know the song that plays at 2:49
If you search "space marine full soundtrack list" on here you will get the lot.
