thank you brother from an eastern flat lander who loves horses and mountains, I know exactly what you mean when you say "I need to be on the mountain" can definitely feel the presence of our maker up on that mountain, spent a year of my army life at Fort Carson, tried to spend every weekend in the mountains I get out every 5 years or so chasing those Merriam turkeys, that mule had quick reflexes
Thanks for the great video. I always loosen the breast collar for the boys to graze when I stop for lunch. It stretches or damages the breast collar and raw’s the horse. You gents stay safe.
Me being an avid backpacker and hiker, I am always grateful for when people clear trails. It's kinda hard to pack a chainsaw on my back to do this type of clean up😊. So thanks you!
I have a small brush-less battery powered chain saw like that too. They are the bees knees for camping, trail clearing, and building and clearing fence. Great video!
@@jeffd1919 I have a friend who has used them in the Bob Marshall wilderness area out here in MT. There was no issues with him using it there, so maybe it is different for different wilderness areas?
Just found your channel and wanted to say that you two are great examples of people taking care of what they love. Thank you for giving it back! I just subscribed.
Awesome ride up througb the montains to the head waters and helping the rangers clear brush on the trails. Hope to see more of your rides. Tbis was fun and work to be on a trail rixe in Montana. But now I just sit in my ro king chair and watch movies you make.
Another dandy video. Us folks that have to use our own feet on those trails surely appreciate you guys with the saws clearing the deadfall. I’m jealous every time I watch one of your videos. 😁
Awesome videos!! I love to do trail maintenance. There's something therapeutic about it! Didn't know they made battery operated chain saws that big!? I need one of those!!

I've used an axe in designated wilderness. Not sure of the legalities of a battery saw in wilderness, but would sure be preferable to an axe.

Spend a day on a horse to go up into some mountains to haul trash and clear trail? Hell yeah!
