@@siyandachoncoI’m so glad others see this. I think a lot of what she says is hogwash and she speaks with so much authority you’d think it’s all factual. I wonder what Sbu truly thinks of her views.
I’d like her to go to a podcast where she’ll be challenged (by an intelligent woman) and not given a chance to cry “womanist, misogyny, sexism” whenever someone doesn’t accept or agrees with her. I know Penuel has tried but she got emotional, called him a misogynist without challenging his arguments.
I like how she says when a case has been taken to a court, the parties involved should “shut up” yet she’s been mouthing off about her case against Unisa on podcasts. 🙄😤

@@snayezulu7251 100%. She is intelligent, but she is also bitter and arrogant. There's something about her demeanor that shouts 'I'm here to tell you because you all know nothing'. With people like that, you can easily get bullied into their gullibility if you are not an objective listener. I suspect Sbu may have noticed some of this. Penuel seemed more like a conceding groupie on the UNISA issue.

I think Mondisa missed something with the dollar issue. You can not use foreign currency in a different country to trade when there's a counties currency.
When you arrive in a country, you declare the cash, and they convert it to the countries currency so you can use it.
I think it's wrong to say that in that space, you can use foreign currency. That's why you have this exchange currency thingy majiki

I would like to point out that I agree with most things presented by our sister with the exception of translating the circumstances of those who are poor. Most poor people isn't their fault they in that state but the system and therefore unfair from a person speaking from a position of wellness or achievement to then demonize the anger and frustration of those less fortunate or poor.

Imagine reporting corruption to people doing corruption and you are subjected to "a process" when you report corruption and guess what the same ppl doing corruption are facilitating the same process you are subjected to. People are going through the most and expected to "comfort" to "a process" driven by corrupt managers. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying what Adv Busisiwe did is right but... Well the thing is clear! Those who start June 16 uprising did so on the mentality of ANC, look they followed that and atested to it by skiping the country and hoping to go and join their leaders abroad which in reality was ANC strategy, infact Tsietsi Mashinini said it loud and clear jn Botswana enrout to Tanzania/ Zambia where ANC was based in Lusaka mainly so ANC was involved all the way! And President Nandela was always briefed on all matters pertaining to Black struggle!

Ok, here it is, I agree that most people who were apolitical did not know the difference between the PAC, ANC and BCM/AZAPO, however, the riots the bus boycotts and the student uprising did not come out of the blue.
Tsietsi Mashinini and others were students of BC and also PAC, they were taught by two giants who influenced their political thinking, ie Onkgopotse Abram Tiro, who left the country, and was assassinated in 1974(parcel bomb); and Ntate Zephania Mothopeng of the PAC, who was arrested and sentenced for his role in the June 16 1976 riots.
Tiro was already a proponent of BC by the time he was a teacher in Morris Isaacson and was a former leader of a militant black student moveement known as SASO. Though he never taught Tsietsi, Tiro was known to be vocal against Bantu Education and Tsietsi used to visit the BC intellectual firebrand.
Tiro took Tsietsi under his wing and mentored him, sharing political literature that helped to develop Mashinini’s political consciousness.
That is why it was easy for Tsietsi when he went into exile could discourage students from joining both the ANC and the PAC, though the main reasons were that he was not satisfied with their low level of visibility in the country whilst they had guerrilla armies abroad.
Another hero that was involved in the June 1976 was Zephania Mothopeng and other underground leaders of the PAC, actually the connection between the BC young leaders like Gaybon Mabasa, and the PAC was very strong then.
Even when Sobukwe passed away, these young BC leaders worked with Mama Sobukwe in arranging the hero’s funeral, ofcourse the underground PAC was involved too:
“ You Mothopeng, acted to sow seeds of anarchy and revolution. The riots you engineered and predicted eventually took place in Soweto on June 16 and at Kagiso the next day.”
These are the words of Judge Curlewis in the Supreme Court of South Africa in a secret court hearing on 1 July 1979. He was sentencing to imprisonment for the Soweto Uprising(June 16) the following accused Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) leaders and members: Zephania Mothopeng 30 years, Moffat Zungu 7 years, Michael Matsobane 15 years, Daniel Matsobane 12 years, Marks Shinners 12 years, John Ganya 11 years, Benny Ntoele 10 years, Johnson Nyathi 10 years, Themba Hlatswayo 8 years, Goodwill Thlale 8 years, Julius Landingwe 8 years, Sithembele Khala 7 years, Goodwill Moni 7 years, Zolile Ndindwa 7 years, Jerome Kodisang 5 years and Hamilton Keke 5 years.”- Mayihlome News courts transcripts included in the publication),
SASO was formed in July 1968 as a BC student movement , exclusively black. The BPC was launched in July 1972 in Pietermaritzburg. AZAPO as the offshoot of the BCP was formed on the 28 April 1978, in Roodepoort.
Therefore, as much as I love the brains of Mandisa, we cannot just ignore the history and claim that without any political organisation June 16 just sprouted out of thin air.
The bannings of both the PAC and the ANC and years later of SASO and that of BCP, did not leave our people with a vacuum of leadership. Those who belonged to those organisations recentlessly worked to re-establish their work.
Yes some in the SRC like the Student leader after Trofomo Somo, if I am not mistaken, Dan Motshitshi Sechaba admitted that by the time he was an active leader of the SRC, he was not aware of the PAC and the ANC, however, those who organisesd had direct connection to the BC and the PAC.
I joined AZAPO in 1980 and at that time I was not only aware of the PAC and the ANC, but also their political line of thoughts, and how they differ in their approach of the struggle.
I had many debates with those who were in the ANC’s school of thought, we labelled them Charterists and they in turn labelled us amaZim Zim, because our our claim that SA was Azania.
I mean, when one in the leadership of SASCO, AZASCO, AZANYU, AZASM and COSAS just an active member, one was aware of the three main political schools of thought.
Even the unions were divided amongst thise political schools of thoughts eg NACTU and COSATU.
Yes today June 16, March 21 are our heritage, we all own them, but to deny how they originated and who led them will be similar to denying the AMCU led the Marikana workers during that fateful day workers were assassinated by their own government 10 August 2012.

Mandisa speaks "as a matter of fact"/ authoratively, but when you look beyond that and analyze what she says there are discrepancies in what she says. From the "looting" being organised (ngihlala KwaZulu, bavele bazitapela abantu) maybe on the N3 it was "possibly" organised (burning of trucks) wazi vezi kwi issue ya Ramaphosa. Is not make sure anymore

Mandisa is right in a lot of ways , but where south africa fits in the cold war, was the anglo saxons hired economists from the universirty of chicago to fight the communists push into south east asia and chile.
Now when the Asians saw the growth in Singapore , they also followed suit.
Now South Africa was supposed to fall next, but De clerk was chosen to end the Cold War, but Russia was economically on its kneees given the assault by Reagan and Thatcjer to reinvigorate the Anglo saxon economis by desocialising them and the arms race.
China is run by the Huns but the Black chinese are excluded and discriminated against and China is asking African countries to give them mines if they default from bank loans.
Now you lnow Africa dies not understand banking?

The economiic sclerosis South Africa is suffering from is caused by leakages from the government sector and a lack of reforms.
China has been practosing national socialism from 1979, whether they will go back to marxism is yet to be seen.
National socialism is a merger between big business and government like in fascism in germany or south america.
Apartheid was a national socialism idea.thay is whybthe rupert family had to be created to match the British houses.
