That's the worst part of being autistic people think your rude or weird because you like to be alone but they don't understand social interaction is very draining for people with ASD , most people with ASD have strict moral values and are very loyal they can do most things and if not more then most normal people which are called "neurotypical" 80 percent of the worlds population are neurotypical (normal), I went my whole life being undiagnosed with Autism it's so misunderstood but there is neurotypical people who are just introverted also. Albert Einstein and Nicola Tesla were Autistic and many more brilliant minds but if you research about their personalities they were labeled weird and that's why.
That's no excuse for what he did it's horrible, and unfortunately some autistic people can be easy to manipulate also that's one of the cons of ASD they can be very naive.

He called police when he noticed his gun was gone and his son wasn't home. Why would he think his son had anything to do with Trump? He was going to the range. In Pennsylvania cops and people do whatever they want.

He could have easily conducted a recce and located that FP in the days leading up to the event could have even stashed his rifle in a hidden location on the FP.

The neighborhood kid said he was a normal kid who didn’t like to make conversation. He studied JFK in school which was at least 2-3 years ago. Nothing really strange about studying JFK. I bet every high school kid studied JFK. Seemed like a normal kid who couldn’t stand Trump?
