Just generic airsoft parts with some internals changed up for gel balls, and if you think about the price point of airsoft you just cannot justify this pistol costing this much. For some perspective, a Glock 17 Gen4 Tokyo Marui/Guarder lower costs a whopping $50 Australian which includes shipping. It's not about whether or not it gets past customs, it's about us Australians are being price gouged. A Golden Eagle 5.1 2011 is $90 in airsoft legal countries, but in Australia it's $350. It's not right. It's denying SO many people entry into this sport.
Yeah but Tokyo marui use to many plastic internal parts, due to japans gun laws Tokyo marui aren’t allowed to use metal as a material to make many of the important parts internally. Therefore making their gas blowback pistols purposely with quite poor FPS so the internal parts which should be metal are made from plastic or nylon.
$700 pretty expensive for a electric pistol. Its in the price range of a decent metal M4. Most GBB pistol are cheaper than this, the GBB version of this is cheaper.
I got the 3DG G17 for $70 on FB. No way I would pay over $200 for it. Batteries for the mags are around $20-30 plus the $25 mag itself. Its very overpriced for the experience it gives the user.
Would’ve been a good blaster if it came out early 2020, but now gbb is available to everyone in Australia it unfortunately missed the mark especially with the price point. You would have to be chewing through gas to get to the price point of the tti
Yeah the TTI I think is meant just for collectors. Most people who actually want one for a practical standpoint would get the cheaper version. It's actually slightly less than a Golden Eagle as it should be.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT even with the cheaper one gas will do you a lot better around a extra $100 every 6 months is worth it for the performance, realism and the amount of models choices available
I purchased the Glock 34Gen4 last week. It's firing like a machine gun and the Gels are gone in a couple of seconds. Can anyone advise me on a fix. I've been googling and YouTubing and can't find anything on a fix. Cheers champions if you can help 😉
i got the 17 it’s terrible i hate it for some reasons every shot i take it’s like the batterys dieing even tho it’s fully charged any ideas what it could be?
Hi Brad, good to see you getting some reviews done down here. I noticed that you mentioned this fee for handling by the Firearms shops, that's a bit steep, isn't it? Are all shops the same fee? Why can't we just apply for a B709a when we want to bring one from QLD, this is just a financial scam for the firearms shops now, as in money for nothing and if they are the responsible parties as end people, then would they not be the people to handle the warranty?
Gas version is cheaper, better value, more reliable (less moving parts). How the hell do they justify charging $400 extra for a slide and mag well? I can buy two gas blow back pistols for the price of this.
is there something like this in airsoft? i have seen electric pystols but not like this, would be perfect for me sense i live in a cold place but i would like to have blowback
@@Eljanes123 fairly sure tokyo mauri have electric pistols similar to this, i remember before the 34 came out, i was investigating metal gear replacements for the G17 and found a TM gearset that looked exactly the same.

gel balls are so tiny wet and bouncy that i can't take them seriously as a projectile. it looks like they worm all over the place with massively varied velocity. it doesn't feel like you're shooting anything or being hit. the hobby is all about the look, branding, and style of a real firearm. even when there's gameplay footage it's all a bunch of fat guys just milling around bullet hosing at pallets until one little white swimmer gets through and makes a tag.
I really do not like the 3dg branded pistols, always horrible quality in my experiences, Mag problems, etc. if anyone has a good electric pistol with relatively high fps please let me know
as a American how the heck is that considered to be a firearm that would be in the toy stores here sold to 12 year old kids here in Texas they just passed a bill called constitution carry that allows any adult to carry a gun without a license crazy how different the laws are from one part of the world to another (we are very different you and I)
I like my Golden Eagle 2011 on ultra elites. The cheaper version of this electric Glock is $296 though which is pretty cheap for some people who would pick electric.
Aside from the price of the limited edition one what is horrible about it? Electric physically cannot shoot as high as gas. For an electric it's pretty good considering most other electrics shoot 140fps with trash rate of fire.

Add to that $90 of fees to register in South Australia. $40 to register with SAPOL and $50 to transfer ownership from a firearms dealer to yourself.

Almost $800 for a toy pistol that can barely shoot over 175 fps?
