- Boeing is set to launch two NASA astronauts to the International Space Station on its Starliner spacecraft on Monday. The capsule is scheduled to lift off Wednesday at 10:52 a.m. ET, atop an Atlas V rocket at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Boeing’s first Starliner flight with astronauts on board was called off in the final minutes Saturday, and the backup Sunday launch date was also canceled. Starliner’s crew debut has already been delayed by years. SpaceX’s competing Dragon capsule has flown astronauts for NASA regularly since 2020. The crew flight test represents the final major step before it receives NASA certification to begin regular missions.

Watch Boeing Starliner launch NASA astronauts to space for the first time - 6/5/2024
No whistles can be blown in space.
Congratulations Boeing you checked the door plugs!
They’re stuck in space
The capsule came back but they're still stuck
Boeing: “no wings, no doors & Russian engines…nyet problems!”
then hired the fool that murderud the columba crew. No wonder boing is such a failure with blood on its hands
Not an amusing comment. It's probably from a ScareBus fan.
🙏🙏 up and back Butch and Sunny... congrats Boeing
What time (GMT) is estimated docking to start ?
Congratulations. Only YEARS behind Space X and all the nice trash you dropped into the ocean.
why no video of the crew?
Because it’s fake
They switched the crew with dummies. No sane person would ride in something made by Boeing/DEI.
have they checked the Boeing door bolts?
Hahaaa!🥺
My congratulations NASA and Boeing! God bless you.
Still feel this way?
Good luck 👍
Well done
Great stuff. I am so inlove. Watching from 🇿🇦❤🇿🇦❤🇿🇦
Has Boeing fixed the hatch problem? Will the hatch fall off of the Being Starliner while in flight?
That’s a cool simulator ! 😂
Maga, ah.
Lack of education.
That's what happened
It's about time! Millions of dollars over budget and years behind!
Finally!! Congrats
CHECK THE DOOR PLUG!!! 🤣
Hahaaa that’s terrible! But right! Agreed😉😳
Fake! It’s not real
@@iisophisticate2664 what are u on about, its real. we saw the astronauts, the rocket, and the liftoff
@@ioxynotreal oh you did? On tv or in person? I thought so. SKY NEWS AND FOX WILL ACTUALLY REPORT WHATS GOING ON AT LEAST.
@@iisophisticate2664 stop smoking
Love it.
What will they do if they're out in space, and...
I think you know the rest.😁
These astronauts are the most brave people in the World! They are risking their lives on the maiden flight to the space station on a Starliner built by Boeing, the company that two of their employees became whistle blowers to report that quality checks were not being done during construction of Boeing flight vehicles, and both whistle-blowers were murdered! I'm sure that their murder had absolutely nothing to do with Boeing, but many feel that this is a strange coincidence and refuse to fly on Boeing airliners.
Did it do the Boeing thing yet??
Yes
That thing JUMPED off the launchpad!
Still dumping trash in space
They are still lagging behind.
Funny.
SUCH a WEASEL!!! Did you notice how...even though he DIRECTLY REFERENCED SpaceX's "private astronaut missions" INSPIRATION4 - and when he refenced ULA, he backs up from "the very best" to "they do their very best" - "the hatch is holding air..." LMAO!!!
PAID ACTORS
Are there any conspiracy theories that you think are crazy?
Lets hope the Bolivian army is not in orbit.
I hope Boeing does a better job with the starliner than they do with their jets. Personally, you couldn't pay me to ride on anything Boeing makes 😢
I have a similar aversion to anything scAirBust.
2024 and still deceiving the people 😟
Why the masks?
because oxygen
So it's ok to litter if you are a big corporation.....if you or me dumped stuff in the ocean we could go to jail 🤔
This is the lamest presentation of any space flight ever…
Low res graphics when available, lame cgi after that… google map presentation doesn’t match radio broadcasts….
Flight data doesn’t get displayed…
Astronauts ask to relay a message to ULA…. While about 50 people from ULA are watching the whole time…
Communication supplied by modern technology called satcom….
Their only audience must be stuck in the 1960s…
Hard to watch Boeing fall from the pinnacle of American manufacturing…
Paper check lists stowed away, and tablets are brought out….
The crew is doing nothing…. Just passengers on the way to the station…
A hand full of cameras not showing anything…
Makes spacex human launches look really interesting…
What’s with the suits and ties, and the number of women in the back rows is awfully small…
😃
"flight data doesn't get displayed"
you clearly haven't watched to/beyond 1:25:40
They make this dramatic. Musk makes it routine,as it should be with 60+ years of spacefilght
Musk's a crook.
Musk is a douchbag
Safe travels to the crew!
No whistles can be blown in space.
Excellent job Boeing and Starliner team. Put this one in the win column. Congratulations!
I agree, despite the billions in wasted tax payer money, and a decade over schedule, yes a great success
NASA now has two independent means of getting to orbit, a capability no other single space agency has ever had in the history of spaceflight.
This isn’t real
It's that one win boeing needs..
@@Autovetus Oh no.... Boeing NEEDS 50 wins.... and because of the awful management, their work culture will STILL create unsafe planes and space vehicles....
It's apparent that this rocket was not built at the boeing south carolina plant...it actually stayed together and it worked!
Good thing it was Made In Alabama™️
Very low blow!!!
Tell us again how well it worked.
@@Trevor111-sy8sq it actually worked almost as planned. Boeing warned against an early launch but NASA pushed to get it done. They knew they were helium leaks to begin with and in reality the craft would be 99.9% safe to bring it back down. Boeing is the one that's pushing not to do it and that is pushing to do it.
@@fgrau7376 the titanic almost worked as planned too.
Launch was cool. The animation was pretty useless, as were the stock shots of the control rooms. Meh
All that technology and the potato audio quality
1:10:00
Super cool! I wonder what the flat-earther's watching are thinking about that curvature... LMFAOOOO .
Oh don't worry, they have that covered. It was filmed at stage 59 in Hollywood.
@@diggerthegroundhog8799really? What do u mean? 🤮
With a fish eye lens my front room looks curved
@@tomthumb5242 Ahh....the old fish eye lens conspiracy...it's always something isn't it...
Nah, they're just sending potential whistle-blowers on a little vacation.
Congratulations Boeing and NASA.
Yeah, you stranded them in space. Great job 👏👏👏
This is extremely boring compared to SpaceX launches
Its cool we have more rockets capable of bringing humans to space but is it really worth it to use them instead of spacex? At least some of the booster comes back without damage
Boeing has been working heavily with nasa since 1993. Space x has some major catching up to do if they want to take boeings spot.
The more options the better.
Elon is finished
Who owns Boeing Starliner
@@4REALLL. I heard Musk is going to be a special advisor to Trump.
@@4REALLL Both are real whack jobs for sure.
Lucky! This time Boeing remembered to close all the doors!
And lock all windows!
Another ScareBus fan. People, such as yourself, are the reason I stopped subscribing to Aviation Week and Space Technology magazine.
Let’s hope it’s not a Boeing door!
Always notice, after launch it always turns sideways, then it goes out of sight, then you get cartoon images as seen at 1:16:19
That is so you see that the earth really is flat 😂😂😂😂
Somebody hasn't played Kerbal Space Program, sadly, or they might understand.
For this launch maybe, but "always" is a bit of a stretch. The recent starship test had footage all the way through.
I'm not sure what you are trying to hint at, or if you are a troll. If you are genuinely hinting that there is a conspiracy of some kind... please, there are better ways to spend your time.
Yeah but before the animation was actual footage that showed the earth and it's wonderful curvature in the background.
I suppose you prefer to watch a blank screen....
The rate that starliner took to become able to fly, was embarrassing. It made nasa look like it is 10years behind. Even other countries that we were way beyond in technology are starting to surpass us. I guess this what happens when you become complacent
So, when they switch camera view, how did the camera capture the rocket at a distance and is moving at the same speed? Definitely CGI. I expect some jerkiness if we mount a camera on another rocket with moving at that speed
One way ticket, one way ticket, one way ticket to the mooooon!
NASA needs to LET GO of Boeing before they have their OWN "Boeing Tragedy" - how many times must they show you their lack of engineering quality??
Another eurofile ScareBus fan.
@@Pedsonc01how's that?? Lol
and can't get them back... Boeing needs to just be done at this point
Yea whatever, when is starship launching?

we are not going anywhere that matters. Your children's children will not see that
@@bobsmith-qu2oq oh no you know VOODOO
@@Buzzmonkey24so it's the future now... how's NASA and Boeing doing? Lol
Nice explanation
We hate Boeing 😂
@ 1:13:11 what is that debris?
That is ice, the fuel is kept extremely cold so on the launchpad the humidity in the air freezes against the body of the rocket. Like when you take a cold glass of water outside on a hot day and the outside of the glass gets wet. Just much colder.
That's their integrity.
More space junk that serves no purpose other than being a vanity project.
space junk which further cacoons the earth in a protective shield of ever increasing hazardous, high speed debris which must be tracked day in and day out to be sure to avoid collisions with the International Space Station, future Launches and orbits of every following space flight and satellites, orbiting the the earth! We are surrounding the earth in a litereal BLANKET of supersonic highspeed debris from past launches, deorbited spacecraft, satellites and misc. junk! It is starting to get VERY CROWDED up there! At some point. It Will cause a major disaster! We need CLEAN launches like Space-X vehicles which leave little to no debris in orbit! Get with the Future BOING! NASA! Looking at you guys!
But! Congratulations on the Latest Boeing Launch! Go American or... Go somewhere else! lol!
TRUMP MAGA 2024 baby!
Congratulations Nasa Be safe Astronauts.
A major problem is about to unfold. The Starliner door is 2.4mm smaller than the Space Station door.
Comments are being removed from the section.
All the rivets are closed tight this time
Robbing the money.
Hmmm
Boeing???
Yes!
😂😂😂 It's, works
Yeah, it just doesn't come back.
In the end, Boeing is the only company the US can rely on for space exploration. SpaceX, It's a Musk company. With the way he has run Tesla, with so many fatalities. Even including recent failures of Boeing commercial units, Boeing's safety records are better than Musk's Tesla/SpaceX. I wouldn't count on Space X. Space X has cool features like no button controls. We all know what happened with that cool no-door handle feature on Tesla. People got burned to death inside!
Tell us again how Boeing is crushing it lol.
