We wanted to combine multiple episodes of slime recently because of all the meetings we were having and It was much more enjoyable for us to watch. The last few episodes were very enjoyable and it looks like slime is back so we will most likely cover it week to week again! 😁
All this stuff is important to future conflicts and plots....so it annoys me when people complain about it. As someone who has read everything...the LN...WM..the manga. I'm so exited to see all the introductions to this stuff. Like the labyrinth. That's going to be so important going forward.

True it's annoying to see some people complaining as if the only thing they care about is the fighting scene LOL. But if it was just fighting without building a good plot, that's just trash right?

You basically have to trick....people into watching your show. Like remember what a slow burn Game of Thrones was. But it took the time to build characters....and narratives. So when something happened you cared. But would they have watched it if it didn't have dragons, direwolves and white walkers.

"SLIME IS FINALLY ENJOYABLE AGAIN!" 🙃 Since when does this anime not enjoyable huh? I enjoy every meeting scene in every episode. This is what makes this show unique compared to others isekai anime with a cheap plot. When there is an anime that cut some content from the source, they complained "I don't understand this and that, the episode feels so rushed, the studio is sucks." And now when there is an adaptation that gives us lots of information like this, they also complained "This is too long and boring, only meetings, where is the fight? Etc." Don't get me wrong but to me TENSURA is the best isekai anime I've ever known! From every isekai anime that I have watched until now, there is none that has stories, plots, and characters as good as TENSURA.
Tengu are incarnated as in Angels that have possessed a wolf. Also the implications from Ep. 16 os that ONLY 1 angel incarnated and simply mated with others which created the Tengu. Angels much like Demons and Spirits don't have physical bodies so obviously they need a vessel. That's all I'll say for now.
I've been sticking to the dub since I binged slime to catch up to S3, so I wont watch this for another 2 weeks but getting to episode 14, I specifically felt this episode was where season 3 started to feel like we're finally getting somewhere. Rimiru is literally creating Dungeon Meshi lol
Dude fell asleep man time to throw in the towel. lol you can see his wife kick him awake. They might be over worked though and once you’re not engaged with a story, it’s hard to get you back even when it’s good so they may have started on the wrong foot or I heard that it was going to be boring from others. They liked frieren and that is slow.
Look, I get that you guys love action, but at this point, you should be aware that Slime is not an action anime. Slime is more world building/politics than a conflict/action anime. And while the action it has is one of the best, it's not it's main selling point. And also, all the meetings we've seen so far, are short and far between each other compared to what's to come. So it wouldn't surprise me if you guys drop Slime when the time comes, but don't watch it with the intention of complaining if there's no action every episode. Edit: minor spelling mistake...🫠
Tensura have 70% world building story with meeting and politics . They have 30% fight scene . Those fights are current one piece , end of naruto shippuden , botuto , black clover , bleach , tower of god , solo leveling , dbz , one punch man , dragon ball super and gurren lagan type god tier fighting moment .

I can totally understand that you guys and others don't like the slower pace, but I love the deep details on the city planning, government meetings, etc. It's a very very big world with lots of moving pieces so I enjoy getting as much detail as they're willing to give. We can get more traditional shonen action just about anywhere but this is one of few that gives this level of detail on the world that everything is happening in. To me it feels closer to a large-scale fantasy setting House of Cards than what we got early in the first season
Is his critic true. Since you know what will happen next, is it true that this stuff could be condensed and a lot of it is not important. It’s hard because they’re adapting a book so they don’t know if they remove stuff and it will be later so they must include it all.

Didn’t his wife say she cares more about story than fights though. She said she doesn’t really care about fights. But her favorite series tend to be action based lol. Also if you have action each episode people complain too like jjk s2 or demon slayer s2 where people said it’s dragged or they don’t wanna see so much thrilling stuff and want down time. If they skipped over things people would then be complaining that they don’t understand what’s happening or how this happened or how this works, damned if you do damned if you don’t. All animes have slow arcs so I don’t get why this series in particular is getting crapped on.

I understand the importance of world-building but when they cram so much information across multiple episodes it gets overwhelming and I’ll barely even remember it by the time the next season comes out so yea to me it definitely wasn’t enjoyable
yep you say it mite be better with smaller parts to most things. but what they are giving is smaller then the LN. plus what they did cut out was way better reading then the anime. plus now they have a small world in town, now most of the higher ups can let there power hang out for a time and it be safe to still be walking around.
For all those saying "it's world-building" In my opinion (cause I do enjoy world-building) some of the way's the world building is done can be extremely tough to watch or sit through, especially when certain concepts can be told in a more condensed way. The key is maintaining interest, there is an art to dialogue and Slime honestly struggles at that at times. For diehard fans or those more accustomed to heavy lore/worldbuilding this is fine, but for general audiences it will be very tough and will likely alienate many. It being "world-building" isn't an excuse, world-building can be interesting (Slime has examples of this) but it an also be boring.
I will say, while it could have been done better, (not that I am any kind of expert to say how) i've never found it boring in the least. Lots of info sure, but it info I am sure that be important this season or the future ones, and the payoff will always be nice

I have read the ln, but anime doesn't need everything shown from the LN. Skipping things is much better for the anime. For myormiles the whole thing could be skipped and said "myormiles is handling the whole money part" and be done. Its not even that important 😑

Exactly. I still enjoyed Tsukimichi, but it felt like the plot/story didn´t move on at all for the longest time. (Plus I just wasn´t that interested in most of the side characters.) Yes, Slime has meetings, but they tell you exactly what´s happening and why, and then get to the next part. (And with more memorable people.)

I can totally understand that you guys and others don't like the slower pace, but I love the deep details on the city planning, government meetings, etc.
It's a very very big world with lots of moving pieces so I enjoy getting as much detail as they're willing to give. We can get more traditional shonen action just about anywhere but this is one of few that gives this level of detail on the world that everything is happening in.
To me it feels closer to a large-scale fantasy setting House of Cards than what we got early in the first season
Is his critic true. Since you know what will happen next, is it true that this stuff could be condensed and a lot of it is not important. It’s hard because they’re adapting a book so they don’t know if they remove stuff and it will be later so they must include it all.
@@nichescenes It is being condensed... the labyrinth especially....the details that go into explaining everything in the LN takes a lot of time. But everything they're explaining is important. Yes you won't understand why yet... but it is important set up.

They get past this homework and the fireworks factory is better for it and all the set up. :) I think he was just tired in the video, it's a stressful job and they are parents.

For all those saying "it's world-building"
In my opinion (cause I do enjoy world-building) some of the way's the world building is done can be extremely tough to watch or sit through, especially when certain concepts can be told in a more condensed way.
The key is maintaining interest, there is an art to dialogue and Slime honestly struggles at that at times.
For diehard fans or those more accustomed to heavy lore/worldbuilding this is fine, but for general audiences it will be very tough and will likely alienate many. It being "world-building" isn't an excuse, world-building can be interesting (Slime has examples of this) but it an also be boring.

I have read the ln, but anime doesn't need everything shown from the LN. Skipping things is much better for the anime. For myormiles the whole thing could be skipped and said "myormiles is handling the whole money part" and be done. Its not even that important 😑

Exactly. I still enjoyed Tsukimichi, but it felt like the plot/story didn´t move on at all for the longest time. (Plus I just wasn´t that interested in most of the side characters.)
