Snyder abomination. Looking forward to James Gunn's Superman Legacy.
I like how Snyder discard the typical comical superhero genre art style that most of the director would end up with when portraying Superman, instead focus on his alien Kal El identity who seek for a way to live in this human world.
But I believe it would be better if it ain't follow up with BvS and Justice League plot tho, instead he could have found Martian Manhunter to advise him on how to live his life, or he could have meet Green Lantern and even guide a new Lantern on how to live a double life on earth before he finally met Batman and the Justice League he formed to counter aliean invasion threat after the Zod invasion incident.

I love this movie. I never understood the people who were confused by Superman being unsure about humankind or that "Snyder made it dark". All the characters were perfectly casted, with several A-list actors/actresses. And I doubt anyone can surpass Henry Cavill in this role. Sorry Marvel, I don't want a Guardians of the Galaxy Superman. No need for a Superman catered for teens either...we had Smallville amongst others for that.

Henry's Superman theme just feels like somethin gout of this world. like it should considering he isn't from our world, yet he is the most human out of all of us, this theme just feels powerful in every sense of the word

It’s mind boggling how Henry Cavil’s Superman didn’t get a trilogy. I understand what they were trying to do with a connected universe, but at least a trilogy completes things and builds a solid foundation. Love this score by Hans though.

Watch any of the CBM's that came out across 2020-2023 (except the really good ones like the Batman/SpiderVerse etc) and then watch this - it has a completely different feel, it feels like a real movie with direction, passion, great cinematography and music. MOS just becomes more underrated as the years pass!
