Do check out Skate line, some really unique footstops on their website (it's down atm, but will be back up shortly).
One thing I haven't tried is what the Aussies do for footsteps. Literally enclosing their foot in footstop from every angle except the inside. Should be interesting, I'll try that when I finally have a drill and a board I don't mind destroying. Also will try weights at the same time. Let me know if y'all up for that.
Feel free to leave a comment with your own footstop advice.
For more advice, I have a video up I made a long time ago. Owen Campbell also has a very good video.

Website is back up! Found the issue and the website is fixed. If anybody wants anything that is a different color than on the site, just send us a facebook message or email and we can absolutely work with you.

You must have never cored a set of wheels! 😉🤣 Cause a cored wheel makes the best footstop! I've tried and own many other footstops, but found that a cored wheel has a solid, slick lower area around the core that allows me to rotate my foot around to different positions when necessary, yet the flared urethane gives plenty of grip when I really need to dig in!

*Plus the sentimental vibe of having your first set of cored wheels mounted to your board! 😉

I only use one on my ldp setup. All the fast wavey movements makes my foot slide.
Really annoying when you wanna pump long distances.
I'm also using it to prevent wheelbite with my foot. I'm using a Bossa deck with a g-bomb bracket on the front. Wheelbite happend a lot untill i got a riptide footstop.

Great info and video! What foot stop would you get for the Rocket Rhino?

You forgot the bushing with a cup washer/flipped cup washer footstop. It works great for a freeride stop especially if you do a good bit of switch.

Hey man, nice videos, really learning a lot more about longboarding!! Just a quick question; would you recommend putting a foot stop on the rear trucks of a small board ??

some people do, but a very small minority. You don't need one. Something like a torquer block would be more appropriate
