    Born & bred in Porth, though now living in England after travelling the world. Good to see so much of Porth still unchanged - will be back some day & make a point of popping into Bacchettas - RIP Aldo, always appreciated your humor & coffee

    I have worked in the Welsh Hills works like 5 years ago, not as a pop making factory when I worked there, but It was a crazy building lol also I have watched part 1 and 2 now and these vids are nuts they are reminding me of so much I have lived in a lot of places around the Rhondda and they are all coming up through the videos and boy how times have changed!!

    I was born in Cwmparc in1949 and left in 1969 , about 1986 Iwent with my family to the heritage centre in Trehafod where I saw a book " origine of Welsh place names ,Cwmparc ,"valley of the parc "but it is not the place was called CWMPARCH UCHAF, TREORCHY was TREORCHWY , ABERGORKY , was ABERORCHW, all anglicised and later changed again by the TAFFIA,!! The view from the BWLCH will always be magical and wimberries from the Ragged.
