    For a race that says it wants to uplift people, there's a lot of screaming during assimilation. You'd think the people 7 rescues would be pumped full of nanoprobes at least, let alone sedated, or stood around a table getting to see what's awaiting them. People can die from the shock of having a limb or eye removed Borg Queenie.

    • @feathersigil2048

      Unnecessary. The drones will not process the trauma of assimilation in a way that will impede their function. Processing additional nanoprobes or sedatives is superfluous to the process and requires expenditure of mass-energy. If the shock results in death, due to lack of physical damage to the body or brain, the heart can be efficiently restarted via electrical stimulation with only minor mass-energy expenditure.

    Knowing firsthand how much of a nightmare my Queen was, I would be damned to allow anyone to be assimilated into her collective. You can't blame me for resisting the shit out of her despite our former relations. Man, I can't believe I once reverred her and did her bidding without question.
    You're not yourself when you're assimilated.

      Where would they have been able to escape to? How would they fight cyborgs that are stronger than them?

    • @Isabella-nh5dm
      @Isabella-nh5dm 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I remember correctly they did not escape. The Queen shows 7 that they were - (this part I can't remember) either recaptured and assimilated or the vessel was destroyed. It was made clear to 7 that she had been unsuccessful in trying to save them.

    What is always bothered me is nobody’s ever bothered to tell the Borg if you are perfection then how do you need anybody else? Perfection means you are at 100%. You don’t need anything added and yet you you add people and technologies to your perfection that doesn’t make you perfect that makes you imperfect, therefore incomplete and what you have said is an oxymoron that makes no logical sense. They probably have killed me rather than assimulate me.

    • @Lizfan2
      @Lizfan2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Borg have stated that they desire to make everyone in the galaxy "perfect". Their way of doing that is to assimilate every alien race and make them all Borg. If you watched TNG's "The Best Of Both Worlds" parts 1 & 2 Locutus basically explains it.

      I think the borg drones may have been programmed from the queen, to make sure she isn't harmed in anyway. So when she fell, they just stopped and sorted her out.

    There IS a ‘we ‘ at every ‘ me ‘ and covid-19 is proving it to each and every one of us. If I ran the Borg I would dress nicer, drive a Bentley Starship and INVITE every one, ONE, to join our pursuit of perfection. I mean, if I really believe in what I am selling, I don’t need to kill ANYONE 👍🏿‼️especially when all I need to be happy is say,
    GO MIKEY ‼️‼️‼️

      Persuasion, while easier in some ways, takes a lot time and effort. In the clip, the Borg Queen tells Seven to "be efficient." In most cases, the Borg are so much more technologically advanced than the culture they are assimilating that it is way more efficient to just obtain what they want by brute force than negotiate.

      You obviously know nothing about conservatives. Conservatives are the people who will defend one person against the whole weight of society. Liberals are the ones who will sacrifice 49% of the population if the 51% demand it.
