I can totally relate to your story as somebody who was completely immersed in Yoga and New Age ideology but recently found Christ in 2021. I'm so grateful that God drew me to him and for the salvation of my 4 little kiddos. God Bless you and your family.
Another fellow new Ager saved by Christ. My husband was saved a few months later. My 5 year old was having night terrors and seeing things. Something was trying to harm my pregnancy, it led me to Jesus. Steven’s TH-cam was the one that converted me as well.
I did yoga for 12 years before becoming Christian. I agree with you completely. Once again our stories are very similar! I love how you said the Lord is constantly refining us! Yes!!!❤
@@TransformedHomemakersSociety definitely. Some people get realllly defensive of yoga too which I find very strange, like why risk anything that would hinder your relationship with God or expose you to the demonic. A lot of things feel good, but are not good

It’s amazing how so many of these testimonies as well as my testimony, are so similar. God calls us to him in different ways even when we don’t even realize we are looking for him. Also the way he changes our hearts and how he is so gentle with us by slowly changing us so we aren’t in shock or something. This happened to me and I was so amazed because before I always believe once you were born again than you have to fight sin and although we are always sinners and never perfect, we are changed in so many ways were God takes so many temptations away to where they are no longer struggles at all. There were so many battles I was fighting but once I was truly seeking Jesus, things that were once temptation and hard to fight, did not affect me at all and it was clear that it was God and not me that did that. I truly understand why it’s called, born again, now. You are changed into an entirely different person, slowly as if you are being reborn. I know many will say, duh! But it was so amazing going through it myself and realizing how true it is. Thank you for sharing!

Unbelievable… ❤ I was raised by atheists in Czech Republic which is considered as the most atheist country in the world. I knew literally no one who would go to church. Nothing about God let alone Jesus was around neither at school, nor at home. At 20 I also started searching believing there MUST be something else, just like you said. And I also got trapped in new age and also had no idea because it felt so good at the beginning… I now moved to another country and I am not good at German so I can’t go to church since I don’t understand enough… I have no support but I kinda don’t need it because videos like yours really help! I feel my sisters all around the world ❤ I dive slowly deeper into Christianity. I am stay at home mom with a 2 month old (I have 3 kids) and for the first time it just feels SO good. I feel so blessed I can take care of my family. Thank you for this video

I tried to read some verses on the internet but I feel little bit clueless because I don’t understand it when there is no additional explanation but I have found a channel here on TH-cam and it’s a priest who makes mass once a week so I subscribed to that at least. It’s just like you said - it’s a slow process but I know it’s the right path. I also googled there is a Christian choir in a town who sing English gospel. I used to sing in a school choir so I might ask them if I may join:) I have a two month old now so I need to wait a little bit.
I had a similar journey beginning with hot yoga but went deep into the new age when I faced infertility. I was contemplating ending my life. But I heard preaching on the TV at my mother in law’s house and it encouraged me enough to get interested in reading the Bible. I slowly started believing and then God worked a miracle in my life. A pregnant mother who decided to cancel her abortion appointment chose my husband and I to adopt her baby. It happened quickly and I became a mother and was entrusted with a precious child. The weight of the responsibility and honor humbled me and I knew Jesus was King and was working on our brokenness to heal our family. We have a beautiful open adoption and I love our child’s bio family dearly. As time went on I felt convicted of idolatry and burned my new age items and smashed crystals with a hammer. I am now very aware of the spirit world and honestly it is hard to find people in my church who understand I feel like I went so deep into sun that I saw such darkness it is hard to explain. I think others see me as another Christian mom but like you I had a long heartbreaking road to the freedom I now have in Christ.
Thank you for sharing! What a neat testimony. I also grew up in a Christian home (near you, actually!) and in my 20’s dabbled in new age. I would definitely agree that yoga is the gateway because that’s what happened with me. After several years of deep unhappiness, sexual sin, near alcoholism, as well as sleep paralysis and seeing “things” in my room and a whole host of other things, I finally came to the Lord after having my first child. Praise the Lord for His goodness! ♥️

i'm trying to understand but i can see what you guys are saying but as a christian it's really just that you've put on an armour and you have that extra awareness to see what's happening, i don't think your magically healed as the battle or spiritual warfare as they say is on going so it's like a journey to this, you could slip and slide or backslide and it's like this is testing you in a way.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been feeling convicted to get rid of all my Yoga things in the last week. I instructed Yoga for 4.5 years. I thought it was beautiful! I believed in God, but I didn’t see how it could be harmful in any way. Just innocent fun. So healthy for mind and body. Now, as I work to have a closer relationship with Jesus, I am finding out I was wrong. It takes you away from God. I also thought I was in the best mental health of my life, as I drank every night, left my husband of 29 years ( because his temper disrupted my new found peace). I was looking for a video on this subject, for support, and I found this one first thing. I can relate to so much. As I’m listening, I’ve gathered up all my beautiful hard cover books, my crystals, my many gorgeous mala beads. Like you, I could give them away easy, but what good is there in giving away what belongs to the devil to another person? It’s got to go in the trash. That’s hard! But I keep thinking about Jesus, and what He did for me. No Hindu god has done that. I wish I could include a picture. It’s also hard, because I want to tell the world, and I know they will think I am crazy! Lol Oh well. I have decided to love Jesus! Thank you!!!❤

Always great to hear *new age* to JESUS testimonies! Many folks seeking truth *fail to find* 'cos they're easily led astray by worldly logic, high sensuality, vain imagination or specious mysticisms. I know I was. I'm an ex neo-vedantic (hindu roots) new ager. I used to be into so much "spiritual" stuff: trance channelings, ancient wisdom, gnosticism, psychedelics, hindu gurus and buddhist mystics. I was illuminated by the *kundalini (serpent) spirit* then 7 years ago I got properly enlightened by the *HOLY SPIRIT* who showed me what a fool I was before. Spirit led me to the real *Jesus Christ* and everything changed - paradigm shifted. This is being *BORN AGAIN* and it's an ongoing surprise to me 😁 It escapes the notice of our self-absorbed, glamour-saturated world that we're in a spiritual war for souls. The immensity of ignorance is astonishing: the dark powers bedazzling the minds of the masses (Ephesians 6:12). We've inherited ancient spiritual subversion: the earth is fallen. The holistic fields of nature are fallen state. Life kills and feeds upon itself. Mankind is a spiritually fallen race highly prone to deceit and delusion. Frankly, we need a *Saviour* and by Jesus Christ we have a *Glorious One* As a new ager I couldn't believe it but in the *Light of Spirit* Jesus really is the *Way, the truth and the Life* just like He said: no one comes to God except through Jesus, there's no other way (Matthew 7:13-14). As a neo-vedantist I wasn't convinced (I was damn sure I knew better) but turns out the Bible is Spirit breathed, written by men inspired by the *Holy Spirit.* Jesus is vividly portrayed and endorsed in the new testament, in fact he's apparent in the old testament too (Luke 24:27 & 44) and by the *Light of Spirit* we're allowed to *see* that and *know Him.* Any previously perceived discrepancies or contradictions are ironed out and the supernatural narrative flows most beautifully. The Bible is the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
Can I ask you a question? When you were saved by Jesus Christ, did the Kundalini Spirit leave? Or did you have to have a separate Deliverance to have the spirit leave

So I never did kundalini yoga and I’m not sure if the yoga I did or other things I did to “open my chakras” invited that spirit into me. I will say that I only recently repented of my sins one by one and that was very powerful and I feel like that was what set me free from the spiritual battle I was facing.

There is a recent doctrine going around by some Christians that Christians can actually have demons in their body. This goes against everything the Bible says, but there are so many testimonies of alleged Christian's having demons physically leave their body. They claim that the holy Spirit isn't enough to keep the demons out of their body but that Christians can get demons from multiple sources. Now, I fully acknowledge the spiritual war that we are in and the vast spiritual depression that the enemy is capable of throwing upon us, through spiritual attacks and things like that, but I do not believe, and cannot believe, that the holy Spirit and the demon can abide in the same body. This goes against everything scripture says and tells us to do in regards to our fight against Satan. So I'm kind of asking questions here and there to see what has been the experience of my fellow believers.it makes complete sense to me that when you were born again, all unclean spirits left you. That is the savings power of Jesus Christ and the power of the holy Spirit working in you. But other Christians would say otherwise and say that you need to go through a separate Deliverance to cleanse you of all those demons. I think they are adding things to the Bible and I find it very worrying. Do you know about this new doctrine and what are your thoughts on it?
@@somethinggood9267 I do know the doctrine you’re speaking of. I’ve recently been very interested in this too. The “deliverance” concept was something I was unsure of, esp pertaining to Christians. I agree with you - I don’t think a demon can “reside” in Christians… but I do think Christians can be heavily influenced by demonic activity if they aren’t walking closely in the Spirit - from there, I think it’s an issue of self- control and obedience to God. I think it’s a great conversation, though, and many scholars have debates about this very issue!
Such a powerful video! I too came from new age to Jesus. I was deeply into new age for 20+ years, had a spiritual business, lots of certifications in things like Reiki and spiritual coaching, and it was my complete identity and my whole world was fashioned around it. The grace of God brought me out of it about 2 months ago, and so many miracles have transpired in my life- both inner and outer. The spiritual warfare has been tough at times, but God is more powerful than the enemy, and reading the Bible, praying to Jesus, and worship music makes him (the enemy) flee. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony, as it strengthens me even more in my faith and convictions! May all Truth seekers into the new age come to see the true darkness that the new age represents and come to know the love and light that comes only from Jesus Christ! @@jessicaburgershello, just wanted to give you an answer. Not everyone I’m Asia is into eastern mysticism but there’s a lot of Christian’s and Muslims too. However, Jesus said, “I’m the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father but through me.” That’s a very radical statement but is true. Pure Christianity is the true faith. Because is a free gift of eternal life and full access to God. All other religions require for us to do many steps to reach “enlightenment,” or transcendence to the afterlife. But Christ paid it all for us and has set us free. Is true grace what He offers and pure love. I also was into New Age but because I had UFO close encounters and I was already doing meditations then learned to channel these entities that turned out to be demons. I was in horrible spiritual warfare. But Christ delivered me and has been 12 years of amazing freedom walking with Him. Hope I help with your question. Jesus warned us about false teachers and false prophets who deceive the masses through their demonic doctrines and evil teachings. But God is the only one that can protect us and truly cares for us. yoga is older than christianity. if yoga is demonic then what kind of a Father send his kids to a country where people practice it commonly without knowing any other way? God used him to completely blow my mind and ruin my worldview of "I'm a god"... Ask God for the Ultimate Truth and the truth about who Jesus is and He will show you, but you need to let go of all your preconceived notions in order for Him to to that. If you think you know the truth based on what you've compiled until now as a "personal truth" your cup is already full. Let go of personal truth and ask God for the Ultimate Truth 🙏❤️
Yes, yoga, which i was introduced to by another christian caused so much confusion for me and led me away from God and towards Budda and more new age practices... I had to stop and unfortunately lost that friend in that process.
Yoga stretches are often added to the tail end of many group class workouts as part of the cool down process - whether after a cardio, weight lifting, etc. workout. What are your thoughts about participating in them purely for stretching, as opposed to an intentional spiritual or meditative practice? I was very encouraged and blessed by your testimony. Thank you for sharing.
So usually I'll do the stretches and I won't necessarily do the whole yoga flow. But if they do a stretch and it feels good I'll just stay in that position and then kind of do my own thing based on whatever feels good for my body. And if they do any mantras, chanting, meditating, etc. I'll just sit and pray, or leave.
Thanks for responding! What’s the difference between doing the stretches vs. doing the “whole yoga flow”? Do you just mean doing the yoga stretches minus mantras, chanting, meditating? Appreciate the clarification. I personally have the opinion that doing the stretches in and of themselves is probably fine, but hearing other people’s testimonies like yours, I’m learning that a lot of these positions are actual positions used to worship gods/spirits. Yikes! What a slippery slope yoga is into the demonic. That being said, I realize stretching itself is not bad. Appreciate your thoughts!
@@GoodVictory24 I totally agree. The point of the flow is to worship false Gods (as well as particular poses). However, if I think downward dog or child’s pose feels good for my body after that workout, I don’t think it’s disrespectful to God to do those particular stretches. However, if I got in the habit of just doing a full yoga flow, even a cool down can be a slippery slope, I feel like that could be an open door for Satan. My opinion, obviously, I just wouldn’t do it.
@@GoodVictory24 I copied this definition from a website online that does a better job of explaining that I would have! But essentially it’s the pattern of movements along with breathing. It’s supposed to get you “in the zone” which is only a place we want to be if it’s worshipping the Lord - and if we are doing a practice created for false gods… you’re not worshipping the Lord. Read definition below. “The term ‘flow’ is often used to describe the experience of being in the zone or ‘in the groove’, which is what happens when you are so focused on what you’re doing that you tend to lose track of time. Flow yoga helps you achieve this state of mind by combining movement with deep breathing. Yoga is a practice that encourages physical, mental, and spiritual development. Yoga flow focuses on synchronising movement and breath. Meaning, as you move, you breathe.”
Wow this really really came to me at the right time. Won't get too long but similar beginning story to you. My Mom was very religious and never wanted me to get into "new age" but I moved into it and away from the Lord. My Mom died suddenly and through the grieving process alot has happened, like you said slowly making changes ect. But alot of weird stuff has been happening and I can really feel God's presence, and in fact feel this call to go to church and be in community......so oddly enough I found a more "new age" type church to go to on Sunday to honor my Mom which now that I think about it would actually offend her 😂 but anywaysss...I also found a yoga studio and picked a class for Saturday. This all kind of started through a creative project where I could actually feel the difference between the Satan and God energy and just wanted to move closer to God. He specifically speaks to me through music, especially music my Mom and I listened to when i was younger. Long story short and theres much more to it but I will be praying about my church selection and maybe looking at something else besides yoga to do to be more involved in community. I know for a fact I had a spiritual tie to yoga because my flesh kept wanting to go back (even after being saved) because I loved the way it made my body feel. Just stretch. Like, regular stretches. If you have particular areas of concern, focus your stretches on those areas. The yoga “flow” isn’t the only way to stretch and strengthen. And actually, yoga does a lot of damage to the body. My husband is a chiropractor and says every single one of his yoga patients have issues with unstable joints and weakness in areas DUE to yoga. They’re always coming back and can never get “fixed” because yoga causes so many issues - so he will adjust them, then they go do their yoga class, and they’re right back in his clinic and it’s a never ending cycle.
@@TransformedHomemakersSociety There are certain yoga stretches I particularly use and love like the Pigeon and child’s pose. I personally feel I can stretch how my body needs without worshiping other deities. But I of course want to be cautious. For example we did the Sun Salutation in massage school every morning and I personally would not do it again knowing now what it may have been.
I liked the part that your husband didn’t send or share you any vid or post about new age is occult etc but relied to our Lord to just communicate to you His way and His timing. 😇😇😇
How would you recommend witnessing to a new ager? I have a dear friend who is caught in the new age. My heart goes out to her because I can see how lonely she is and that she is searching for answers.
The way my husband did it was so seamless and not pushy at all. He started asking me questions, but very deep and suggestive questions. For example, he’d say “do you know who the pioneers of bringing new age into the US are or what their background is?” And then, of course, I didn’t know - so I would say no, do you? And he would talk about Helena Blavatsky and Anton LaVey. He was very knowledgeable on the new age which helped his case, too. So I would suggest Doing your own research and hitting down some notes on the origins of the new age, who brought it into the US and what those people were all about. Then I’d ask leading questions based on that knowledge. I’d also ask questions about how she’s truly feeling inside. Ask about her anxiety levels and just how she is truly “doing” and then ask if she thinks her new age practices (meditation, yoga, crystals, etc.) are actually helping. Last, but certainly not least, I’d tell her your own story of coming to Christ. How did you feel after coming to Christ? What’s your transformation been like? What have you learned about Jesus? Etc. this is a step you could do even if she isn’t receptive to the other methods. Also… always be praying for her behind the scenes. If God put your into her life, I would assume that God wants her in His family - assume that God has a plan for her to be a disciple of Jesus too. And pray for your role in that - does God have a job for you to do? Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Another fellow new Ager saved by Christ. My husband was saved a few months later. My 5 year old was having night terrors and seeing things. Something was trying to harm my pregnancy, it led me to Jesus. Steven’s TH-cam was the one that converted me as well.

It’s amazing how so many of these testimonies as well as my testimony, are so similar. God calls us to him in different ways even when we don’t even realize we are looking for him. Also the way he changes our hearts and how he is so gentle with us by slowly changing us so we aren’t in shock or something. This happened to me and I was so amazed because before I always believe once you were born again than you have to fight sin and although we are always sinners and never perfect, we are changed in so many ways were God takes so many temptations away to where they are no longer struggles at all. There were so many battles I was fighting but once I was truly seeking Jesus, things that were once temptation and hard to fight, did not affect me at all and it was clear that it was God and not me that did that. I truly understand why it’s called, born again, now. You are changed into an entirely different person, slowly as if you are being reborn. I know many will say, duh! But it was so amazing going through it myself and realizing how true it is. Thank you for sharing!

Unbelievable… ❤ I was raised by atheists in Czech Republic which is considered as the most atheist country in the world. I knew literally no one who would go to church. Nothing about God let alone Jesus was around neither at school, nor at home. At 20 I also started searching believing there MUST be something else, just like you said. And I also got trapped in new age and also had no idea because it felt so good at the beginning… I now moved to another country and I am not good at German so I can’t go to church since I don’t understand enough… I have no support but I kinda don’t need it because videos like yours really help! I feel my sisters all around the world ❤ I dive slowly deeper into Christianity. I am stay at home mom with a 2 month old (I have 3 kids) and for the first time it just feels SO good. I feel so blessed I can take care of my family. Thank you for this video

I tried to read some verses on the internet but I feel little bit clueless because I don’t understand it when there is no additional explanation but I have found a channel here on TH-cam and it’s a priest who makes mass once a week so I subscribed to that at least. It’s just like you said - it’s a slow process but I know it’s the right path. I also googled there is a Christian choir in a town who sing English gospel. I used to sing in a school choir so I might ask them if I may join:) I have a two month old now so I need to wait a little bit.
I had a similar journey beginning with hot yoga but went deep into the new age when I faced infertility. I was contemplating ending my life. But I heard preaching on the TV at my mother in law’s house and it encouraged me enough to get interested in reading the Bible. I slowly started believing and then God worked a miracle in my life. A pregnant mother who decided to cancel her abortion appointment chose my husband and I to adopt her baby. It happened quickly and I became a mother and was entrusted with a precious child. The weight of the responsibility and honor humbled me and I knew Jesus was King and was working on our brokenness to heal our family. We have a beautiful open adoption and I love our child’s bio family dearly. As time went on I felt convicted of idolatry and burned my new age items and smashed crystals with a hammer. I am now very aware of the spirit world and honestly it is hard to find people in my church who understand I feel like I went so deep into sun that I saw such darkness it is hard to explain. I think others see me as another Christian mom but like you I had a long heartbreaking road to the freedom I now have in Christ.

Thank you for sharing! What a neat testimony. I also grew up in a Christian home (near you, actually!) and in my 20’s dabbled in new age. I would definitely agree that yoga is the gateway because that’s what happened with me. After several years of deep unhappiness, sexual sin, near alcoholism, as well as sleep paralysis and seeing “things” in my room and a whole host of other things, I finally came to the Lord after having my first child. Praise the Lord for His goodness! ♥️

i'm trying to understand but i can see what you guys are saying but as a christian it's really just that you've put on an armour and you have that extra awareness to see what's happening, i don't think your magically healed as the battle or spiritual warfare as they say is on going so it's like a journey to this, you could slip and slide or backslide and it's like this is testing you in a way.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been feeling convicted to get rid of all my Yoga things in the last week.
I instructed Yoga for 4.5 years. I thought it was beautiful! I believed in God, but I didn’t see how it could be harmful in any way. Just innocent fun. So healthy for mind and body.
Now, as I work to have a closer relationship with Jesus, I am finding out I was wrong. It takes you away from God. I also thought I was in the best mental health of my life, as I drank every night, left my husband of 29 years ( because his temper disrupted my new found peace).
I was looking for a video on this subject, for support, and I found this one first thing. I can relate to so much. As I’m listening, I’ve gathered up all my beautiful hard cover books, my crystals, my many gorgeous mala beads. Like you, I could give them away easy, but what good is there in giving away what belongs to the devil to another person? It’s got to go in the trash. That’s hard! But I keep thinking about Jesus, and what He did for me. No Hindu god has done that.

Always great to hear *new age* to JESUS testimonies! Many folks seeking truth *fail to find* 'cos they're easily led astray by worldly logic, high sensuality, vain imagination or specious mysticisms. I know I was. I'm an ex neo-vedantic (hindu roots) new ager. I used to be into so much "spiritual" stuff: trance channelings, ancient wisdom, gnosticism, psychedelics, hindu gurus and buddhist mystics. I was illuminated by the *kundalini (serpent) spirit* then 7 years ago I got properly enlightened by the *HOLY SPIRIT* who showed me what a fool I was before. Spirit led me to the real *Jesus Christ* and everything changed - paradigm shifted. This is being *BORN AGAIN* and it's an ongoing surprise to me 😁
It escapes the notice of our self-absorbed, glamour-saturated world that we're in a spiritual war for souls. The immensity of ignorance is astonishing: the dark powers bedazzling the minds of the masses (Ephesians 6:12). We've inherited ancient spiritual subversion: the earth is fallen. The holistic fields of nature are fallen state. Life kills and feeds upon itself. Mankind is a spiritually fallen race highly prone to deceit and delusion. Frankly, we need a *Saviour* and by Jesus Christ we have a *Glorious One*
As a new ager I couldn't believe it but in the *Light of Spirit* Jesus really is the *Way, the truth and the Life* just like He said: no one comes to God except through Jesus, there's no other way (Matthew 7:13-14). As a neo-vedantist I wasn't convinced (I was damn sure I knew better) but turns out the Bible is Spirit breathed, written by men inspired by the *Holy Spirit.* Jesus is vividly portrayed and endorsed in the new testament, in fact he's apparent in the old testament too (Luke 24:27 & 44) and by the *Light of Spirit* we're allowed to *see* that and *know Him.* Any previously perceived discrepancies or contradictions are ironed out and the supernatural narrative flows most beautifully. The Bible is the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Can I ask you a question? When you were saved by Jesus Christ, did the Kundalini Spirit leave? Or did you have to have a separate Deliverance to have the spirit leave

So I never did kundalini yoga and I’m not sure if the yoga I did or other things I did to “open my chakras” invited that spirit into me. I will say that I only recently repented of my sins one by one and that was very powerful and I feel like that was what set me free from the spiritual battle I was facing.

There is a recent doctrine going around by some Christians that Christians can actually have demons in their body. This goes against everything the Bible says, but there are so many testimonies of alleged Christian's having demons physically leave their body. They claim that the holy Spirit isn't enough to keep the demons out of their body but that Christians can get demons from multiple sources. Now, I fully acknowledge the spiritual war that we are in and the vast spiritual depression that the enemy is capable of throwing upon us, through spiritual attacks and things like that, but I do not believe, and cannot believe, that the holy Spirit and the demon can abide in the same body. This goes against everything scripture says and tells us to do in regards to our fight against Satan. So I'm kind of asking questions here and there to see what has been the experience of my fellow believers.it makes complete sense to me that when you were born again, all unclean spirits left you. That is the savings power of Jesus Christ and the power of the holy Spirit working in you. But other Christians would say otherwise and say that you need to go through a separate Deliverance to cleanse you of all those demons. I think they are adding things to the Bible and I find it very worrying. Do you know about this new doctrine and what are your thoughts on it?
@@somethinggood9267 I do know the doctrine you’re speaking of. I’ve recently been very interested in this too. The “deliverance” concept was something I was unsure of, esp pertaining to Christians. I agree with you - I don’t think a demon can “reside” in Christians… but I do think Christians can be heavily influenced by demonic activity if they aren’t walking closely in the Spirit - from there, I think it’s an issue of self- control and obedience to God.
I think it’s a great conversation, though, and many scholars have debates about this very issue!

Such a powerful video! I too came from new age to Jesus. I was deeply into new age for 20+ years, had a spiritual business, lots of certifications in things like Reiki and spiritual coaching, and it was my complete identity and my whole world was fashioned around it. The grace of God brought me out of it about 2 months ago, and so many miracles have transpired in my life- both inner and outer. The spiritual warfare has been tough at times, but God is more powerful than the enemy, and reading the Bible, praying to Jesus, and worship music makes him (the enemy) flee. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony, as it strengthens me even more in my faith and convictions! May all Truth seekers into the new age come to see the true darkness that the new age represents and come to know the love and light that comes only from Jesus Christ! @@jessicaburgershello, just wanted to give you an answer. Not everyone I’m Asia is into eastern mysticism but there’s a lot of Christian’s and Muslims too. However, Jesus said, “I’m the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father but through me.” That’s a very radical statement but is true. Pure Christianity is the true faith. Because is a free gift of eternal life and full access to God. All other religions require for us to do many steps to reach “enlightenment,” or transcendence to the afterlife. But Christ paid it all for us and has set us free. Is true grace what He offers and pure love. I also was into New Age but because I had UFO close encounters and I was already doing meditations then learned to channel these entities that turned out to be demons. I was in horrible spiritual warfare. But Christ delivered me and has been 12 years of amazing freedom walking with Him. Hope I help with your question. Jesus warned us about false teachers and false prophets who deceive the masses through their demonic doctrines and evil teachings. But God is the only one that can protect us and truly cares for us. yoga is older than christianity. if yoga is demonic then what kind of a Father send his kids to a country where people practice it commonly without knowing any other way? I thought I had subscribed to your channel when I came over from Adaline Zook’s cookie video to yours. I forgot about it over the holidays and then I couldn’t find your channel. I had wanted to view the husband challenge ones. I finally remembered how I had gotten to your video in the first place, so I found your channel and subscribed.
This was an encouraging testimony for me. My son was raised in the church and I believe he was saved as a young adult, but he didn’t keep walking with the Lord. He is now an agnostic and dating a young woman who I really like, but she is a yoga instructor. I have been praying for them both to come to the Lord. I have felt she might be the one to see the Truth first. Please pray for them if you get the chance. They live several states away from me, so I’ve only met her once. Thank you.

God used him to completely blow my mind and ruin my worldview of "I'm a god"... Ask God for the Ultimate Truth and the truth about who Jesus is and He will show you, but you need to let go of all your preconceived notions in order for Him to to that. If you think you know the truth based on what you've compiled until now as a "personal truth" your cup is already full. Let go of personal truth and ask God for the Ultimate Truth 🙏❤️

Yes, yoga, which i was introduced to by another christian caused so much confusion for me and led me away from God and towards Budda and more new age practices... I had to stop and unfortunately lost that friend in that process.

Yoga stretches are often added to the tail end of many group class workouts as part of the cool down process - whether after a cardio, weight lifting, etc. workout. What are your thoughts about participating in them purely for stretching, as opposed to an intentional spiritual or meditative practice? I was very encouraged and blessed by your testimony. Thank you for sharing.
So usually I'll do the stretches and I won't necessarily do the whole yoga flow. But if they do a stretch and it feels good I'll just stay in that position and then kind of do my own thing based on whatever feels good for my body. And if they do any mantras, chanting, meditating, etc. I'll just sit and pray, or leave.
Thanks for responding! What’s the difference between doing the stretches vs. doing the “whole yoga flow”? Do you just mean doing the yoga stretches minus mantras, chanting, meditating? Appreciate the clarification. I personally have the opinion that doing the stretches in and of themselves is probably fine, but hearing other people’s testimonies like yours, I’m learning that a lot of these positions are actual positions used to worship gods/spirits. Yikes! What a slippery slope yoga is into the demonic. That being said, I realize stretching itself is not bad. Appreciate your thoughts!
@@GoodVictory24 I totally agree. The point of the flow is to worship false Gods (as well as particular poses). However, if I think downward dog or child’s pose feels good for my body after that workout, I don’t think it’s disrespectful to God to do those particular stretches. However, if I got in the habit of just doing a full yoga flow, even a cool down can be a slippery slope, I feel like that could be an open door for Satan. My opinion, obviously, I just wouldn’t do it.
So what is a “flow”? Back to back yoga stretches? Or stretches that include mantras and chanting?
@@GoodVictory24 I copied this definition from a website online that does a better job of explaining that I would have! But essentially it’s the pattern of movements along with breathing. It’s supposed to get you “in the zone” which is only a place we want to be if it’s worshipping the Lord - and if we are doing a practice created for false gods… you’re not worshipping the Lord. Read definition below.
“The term ‘flow’ is often used to describe the experience of being in the zone or ‘in the groove’, which is what happens when you are so focused on what you’re doing that you tend to lose track of time.
Flow yoga helps you achieve this state of mind by combining movement with deep breathing.

Yoga flow focuses on synchronising movement and breath. Meaning, as you move, you breathe.”
Wow this really really came to me at the right time. Won't get too long but similar beginning story to you. My Mom was very religious and never wanted me to get into "new age" but I moved into it and away from the Lord. My Mom died suddenly and through the grieving process alot has happened, like you said slowly making changes ect. But alot of weird stuff has been happening and I can really feel God's presence, and in fact feel this call to go to church and be in community......so oddly enough I found a more "new age" type church to go to on Sunday to honor my Mom which now that I think about it would actually offend her 😂 but anywaysss...I also found a yoga studio and picked a class for Saturday. This all kind of started through a creative project where I could actually feel the difference between the Satan and God energy and just wanted to move closer to God. He specifically speaks to me through music, especially music my Mom and I listened to when i was younger. Long story short and theres much more to it but I will be praying about my church selection and maybe looking at something else besides yoga to do to be more involved in community. Thank you so so so much for this video. Sorry for rambling haha ❤

I know for a fact I had a spiritual tie to yoga because my flesh kept wanting to go back (even after being saved) because I loved the way it made my body feel. I hear this a lot about yoga but how can I stretch and strengthen my body in this way without certain poses? Any alternatives you know of? Thanks!
Just stretch. Like, regular stretches. If you have particular areas of concern, focus your stretches on those areas. The yoga “flow” isn’t the only way to stretch and strengthen. And actually, yoga does a lot of damage to the body. My husband is a chiropractor and says every single one of his yoga patients have issues with unstable joints and weakness in areas DUE to yoga. They’re always coming back and can never get “fixed” because yoga causes so many issues - so he will adjust them, then they go do their yoga class, and they’re right back in his clinic and it’s a never ending cycle.
@@TransformedHomemakersSociety There are certain yoga stretches I particularly use and love like the Pigeon and child’s pose. I personally feel I can stretch how my body needs without worshiping other deities. But I of course want to be cautious. For example we did the Sun Salutation in massage school every morning and I personally would not do it again knowing now what it may have been.

How would you recommend witnessing to a new ager? I have a dear friend who is caught in the new age. My heart goes out to her because I can see how lonely she is and that she is searching for answers.
The way my husband did it was so seamless and not pushy at all. He started asking me questions, but very deep and suggestive questions. For example, he’d say “do you know who the pioneers of bringing new age into the US are or what their background is?” And then, of course, I didn’t know - so I would say no, do you? And he would talk about Helena Blavatsky and Anton LaVey.
He was very knowledgeable on the new age which helped his case, too. So I would suggest Doing your own research and hitting down some notes on the origins of the new age, who brought it into the US and what those people were all about. Then I’d ask leading questions based on that knowledge.
I’d also ask questions about how she’s truly feeling inside. Ask about her anxiety levels and just how she is truly “doing” and then ask if she thinks her new age practices (meditation, yoga, crystals, etc.) are actually helping.
Last, but certainly not least, I’d tell her your own story of coming to Christ. How did you feel after coming to Christ? What’s your transformation been like? What have you learned about Jesus? Etc. this is a step you could do even if she isn’t receptive to the other methods.
Also… always be praying for her behind the scenes. If God put your into her life, I would assume that God wants her in His family - assume that God has a plan for her to be a disciple of Jesus too. And pray for your role in that - does God have a job for you to do? Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
