Freightliner’s celebrity diesel locomotive 47830 ‘Beeching’s Legacy’ In BR Two Tone Green on one of its last passenger workings before retirement from the mainline with Freightliner. The locomotive is seen here departing Summerseat station with 37425 and 70014 on the rear at the East Lancashire Railway’s fantastic Diesel Sunday event 2024, where 9 locomotives were operational.
Does anyone know what the future holds for the locomotive at all?
