Aw my heart when Brody was in the kiddie pool
Thank you for continuing to bring us along your life! Would you be able to show an updated all time favorite basics (like if could only wear 1 tee, 1 comfy set, etc)
Have you considered maybe stepping away from all hair products except for like your normal shampoo conditioner in the Shower Maybe try that for 2 to 3 months
Not sure if you’ll ever see this and it’s a slightly different experience but: you’re so not alone in the long-game hair struggle!! I have super thin / easily made greasy hair and for what felt like 2 whole years I couldn’t find a shampoo that made my hair look clean. It affected my confidence so much! Only recently did I get on a prescription shampoo that helps with dandruff and has worked WONDERS on my hair! When I get out of the shower it actually looks clean and it’s been a lot healthier / able to grow over the past few years. Point is: you are not crazy or dramatic for wanting your hair to look the way you want! It affects confidence so much - hoping that you find a solution soon! Thanks for sharing your feelings with us💓💓💓
I think Brody’s addicted to that pool 😂👍🦮💦
I'm also struggling with my hair after having covid last year. I feel like I'm shedding so much and nothing is helping. You are totally not overreacting--hair is such an emotional topic. Thank you for sharing about it so openly
I would get b12 and iron levels checked, I was experiencing hair loss and found out I had a b12 deficiency and low iron. After having B12 shots and iron pills it solved the problem.
The haul is perfect i love everything! Yellow really does look soo good on you!
Yes I always sometimes like my hair because I never know a good cut. I love Divi hair serum! Smells great, clean ingredients, and helps tremendously with hair growth and health. Dani Austin invented it after she had a lot of hair loss from stress. It has helped people grow hair and not have bald spots. The company also has hair vitamins. I hope you have a great week!
I used to have the longest strawberry blonde hair down my whole back, I started dying it but it was so long and thick and amazing. I had weight loss surgery, and my hair fell out in clumps, which can happen. I chopped it all off, and now it is above my shoulders. It’s made me HATE my hair and confidence is so low with it. It’s now starting to slowly grow back, and the baby hairs are real. Girl I get it!
I struggle with my hair as well because I have very thin hair that tends to fall flat. I just got married a month ago and I got some hair extensions put in so I would feel more confident on the day of and on my honeymoon. They turned out amazing and since having them in my hair has grown out so much and is healthier than ever before. It may not be the solution for everyone but thought I’d share ☺️
What extensions do you have! Beaded? Tape ins??
@@Coolabbygirl I got tape-in extensions 💛
I LOVE all the flowers outside
So fun!! Love all the summer fun
Thank you for opening up about your hair insecurities!!! I'm going trough a hair growth journey and it is a lot harder on your mental than I anticipated
Please never stop posting ILY
With you on the whole hair journey! I had the healthiest and long hair back in 2021 and now it’s thin which caused me to go darker and shorter. You are not alone! Hair extensions are a great option if put in with the right professional. We love you! 🤍
Gotta be careful with extensions! They definitely look amazing (I wore them for my wedding) but any prolonged tension on your hair can cause breakage. Stylists will tell you they can do extensions with no damage but it’s just not possible to apply continuous tension to the hair like that and have it have no effect. They’re a great cover up option for a special event but long term they can cause more damage. Definitely consider them for the wedding though - it’s worth it to feel amazing for events like that!
I was in a coma almost 6 years ago and they had to shave my hair for brain surgery then it grew back for about 3 years super healthy and thick then shaved it for another brain surgery and ever since it’s dry and thin. I cry over it sometimes because you can see the scar on my head through it! I’ve never dyed it either and only air dry it never use heat and it feels like hay… I feel your pain
I had very bad hair and very weak nails after colen cancer & radiation treatment etc etc. Took me ages to figure out why. The doctors could'nt help me so I helped myself. I have a problems with getting enough vitamins to stay in my body long enough to be any good for me so I take a lot of extra vitamins. I found that taking biotin helped me with my nails and hair. My nails have gotten stronger, my hair has thickened and is soft. I think it really helps.
The Vitafusion Extra Strength Biotin gummy vitamins have helped my hair tremendously!
Get that bloodwork girl. You’ll get the answers from that to exactly what you need to do. And yes, less stress! 🩷
I completely agree with your sister.
Love the cape vlogs so much! 💛
Followers for years! Love you Gretchen … must know is there a way to do Chases bar classes is there a link?
Fish oil supplements are supposed to help with hair health and growth...and if you cut off about two inches on the bottom to make it a more blunt look it will help
Definitely get a heatless curler. I wear it while I sleep and wake up with perfect curls with no heat damage.
Great vlog Gretchen
Hey! What barre class do you do online, I need a new workout to try? Thanks girl! Your videos and podcast are my new obsession at work lately 💕 you go girl!
Her sister in law chase!
You should try the Divi Hair & Scalp serum! 🤍
Cape cod creamery is the best!! Loved the vlog girl!!🫶
You look so pretty in all of the clothes
I've been experiencing hair loss for the last 4 years too... and doing all of the things. My confidence has gone down so much, it really sucks :(
IBE (invisible bead extensions) has completely changed my confidence. So natural but a little pricey
Where is the last dress you are wearing from? Love it!
I totally understand the feeling of losing your hair and I’m so sorry you’re going through that :( it seems like you are doing everything you can to help! If you are wanting to see a professional, I would definitely recommend a dermatologist! They can evaluate your hair/scalp and give you prescription strength products/medications :) love you G!
I honestly believe its the Quai products...Thats when i noticed the thining...It doesn't mean that the products aren't good, it could just not work for your hair...I would go back to the basics - and possibly include K18 for 4 weeks...and then once per month...
You could always try red light therapy for hair. Dr dray recommends a helmet with led for growth
I’ve had a similar issue with my hair that is also fine to begin with and has been highlighted for many years. My hair stylist recommended going back to Redken Extreme Length Shampoo and Conditioner and also Redken anti-snap leave-in conditioning spray (all of these are in dark blue bottles) and I feel they really do help. Just thought I’d share…
which barre workouts are you doing?!
I deal with waves of hair loss! I have since I was in high school and a big part of it is hormones but also my diet and stress levels and so much stuff. I went to the Dermotologist and I was lacking certain vitamins and she put my on women’s rogaine and honestly it helped so much! I’m not on it anymore but it really got me through my first round of heavy hair issues. I definitely recommend going to see a dermatologist
Looks so good
I would definitely see a functional medicine provider. Also not sure since you use Ouai products you have tried their scalp serum? I started using it about a month ago. Also there is a brand Ola from Hawaiian body products. I started using their shampoo & conditioner about a week ago. I bleach my hair & this product has made a world of difference for texture. Hope these suggestions help 😊
Love the tan!! Is it self tan?
Girl covid WRECKED my hair! It changed all of my hair texture and it’s now even more thin😂
Have you thought about getting extensions for a little while to add thickness while your hair grows??
Have you tried Glimr!? Kaitlyn Davis had similar hair and her hair now is amazing!!
What size did you get the white maxi dress in?
Hi Gretchen. I also struggle with my hair. She’s not pretty anymore and it’s sad! So I understand! It’s ok to express your feelings! I’m not affiliated in any way, just a fan, but have you looked into Goldie Locks hair? It’s a complete system made by a boss babe blonde extension wearer that was sufferer hair loss. The packaging is gorgeous and I love the serum because it doesn’t leave your hair greasy at all. I know of a lady that had bad Covid hair loss, she had extensions installed, gently colored & bleached and started using the Whole Goldie Locks system and her hair is BACK and more gorgeous than ever! (I think she may have an influencer program) 🥰
Thanks for your vulnerability with your hair! I was working a high stress job and this literally happened to me. I think it led to a big hormonal imbalance. Just for long term, have you tried adding k18 to your routine? It’s made a huge impact (also pureology hydrate shampoo/conditioner and prenatals!) but I’m telling you…. K18
Hi! Have you gone to the doctor to check your thyroid? My sister and mom have thyroid issues and their hair loss was one of their first symptoms! Also, have you heard of JS health vitamins? Lastly, try Batana oil for your scalp!
my eyebrows randomly fell out a couple of years ago and they barely grew back. i got microblading but i still feel very insecure about it. i think im gonna get an eyebrow hair transplant cause there’s nothing else i can think of. saying all of this to say, you’re not alone
Same! I get growth with growth serums, but it’s whitish hair and if I forget or get lazy, they’re gone. I’m too old for a transplant, but I’ve heard great things! I know someone that went to Brazil and his hair looks great now!
Time, it takes time to see results. Hang in there. Mine took two years ❤
Have you considered going to the functional medicine doctor and getting a bunch of labs done?
Functional doctors are the best and the way to go. Unfortunately most conventional doctors cannot help with a lot of health issues, or they only mask the issues with medication.
Brody could sense your feelings and stayed closeby for that reason
Gretchen- are you a 6 in the navy dress?! It looks amazing and I might need it but don’t want to do a return
yes! def fits snug for their 6 though, I like it since it's flattering but could've done an 8 to fit more comfortably hahaha
@@GretchenGeraghty7 you’re the sweetest. Thanks🫶
girl why dont u get extensions??
lol - Brody’s giant lay in water bowl 😅
Just saying...I think you would look so adorable with shoulder length hair. I know it might not be your first choice but I can totally picture the style on you, and maybe some highlights so it'll still be healthy with a pop of blonde.
Only at 2:00 so far but you look so beautiful!
Team Taylor
❤️ You G 😎👍
extensions pending?
have you considered extensions?
Gretchen you should definitely get blood work done, it could be the hormones
I would not use Ouai
Go to the doctor, I honestly think you needs vitamins.
Get your hormones checked- bloods
Take oral collagen in meantime
Your hair change is definitely a result of COVID. and unfortunately, the devastating man-made virus will be in your system until the foreseeable future 😢 it’s had terrible effects on both my skin and hair and it will never be the same. Time to just start loving the ‘new you’!
