When it comes to actual MMA knowledge and fight analysis, Luke’s opinions deserve to be respected; he’s put in the work, been in MMA media for over 10+ years
But when it comes to his personal beliefs and political leanings, I agree he can be ridiculous sometimes

Pride was what got me into MMA, with Shogun, Cro-Cop, and Fedor being the fighters I credit most with getting me into the sport. I had watched plenty of UFC back in the day, but Pride clicked with me on a different level.
The promos, the fighter entrances, the larger-than-life grand feel of Saitama Super Arena, the unbelievable spectacle of the presentation, the music, the unique atmosphere of the hushed crowd, Mauro Ranallo and Bas Rutten, the knees on the ground, the soccer kicks, the stomps, the freak show matchups, the first round being 10 minutes, etc. I'd never seen something quite like it before.
