As some of you have mentioned in the comments, Ryutaro checks ONLY for Tyrannomon in name and NOT Dinosaur in trait, only the evolution does so please ignore that part in the video, I always scored bad in Reading Comprehension at school. You could still use EX4 Agumon for the draw, though you are paying 3 cost to evo into EX8 Tyranno so you could consider running the Virus Agumon in this set or even ST1 Agumon as it’s generic, can over for 0 on a red egg, and still works with EX8 Tyranno. I may be missing something, but Ryutaru needs a tyrannomon in name to trigger its digivolve effect, not a dinosaur trait. You can't swing with an agumon to trigger it. Also, all of the 3 cost tyranno Evo costs will be what keep this deck from being great. It takes too much to get off the ground.love the top end though.
You are absolutely right on the Ryutaro effect that’s totally my bad. I still thought it was worth it for to run EX4 anyway since you will suspend your Ryutaro for the effect so that’s a free draw, and BT11 Tyranno is 3 cost regardless so in my mind didn’t matter too much in the long run but I agree having more 2 cost evo Tyrannos worth playing would REALLY improve both Dino and Rust ALOT.
This video is BASED! The people agumon & Darktyrannomon are pack filler. I play the EX4 Agumon, your not pushing up unless you got a Ryutaro so your goa gain memory off it. So even if it's a dinosaur I'm not worried about EX8 Tyrannomon costing 3, it's like a 2 of and I'll be Zero when Rusty P-173 drops.
There is only 1 problem with your list that I don't know if you have noticed it: 1) Although Ex4 Agumon is a really good card it is a Dinosaur trait, for this reason the Ex8 tyranno would from him for a cost of 3, since it evolves at 2 only on reptile trait. Another thing is that you can't go from a lv3 to a lv6 with ryutaro because he says "When one of your Digimon with [Tyrannomon] in its name attacks" so you need at least a level 4. As for running it since out of 10 lvl4s I run, only 3 of them have the ‘2 cost onto lvl3 reptile’ evo box I thought it didn’t matter too much so I can get more draw, but I agree there are other Agus you could consider running instead.
@Voltexfinal was all that available before and the deck still wasn't functional? If you got to run a guy over of suspended them for a draw, then your to depended on the other player. They build in breeding then your stuck
one of my griefs with the new lvl 6 is that its not treated as having tyranno in name. That would make the past support way more helpful. at least with the old taiga
See I'm just using this stuff for more rust that's a nice field, now I'm a eat it since all Dinomon needed was "This card as treated as having tyrannomon in its name at all times." thats all it needed for max SAUCE
Okay i have to say, dark tyrannomon isn't that bad. Retal's not that bad when Metal Tyranno is forcing your opponent to have to delete Dino by battle or deletion affect. Also forcing tamer suspension is pretty good in the hybrid matchup which is all over the place. Not amazing mind you but not as bad as its made out to be. Other than that this is pretty good. Edit - also Dark Tyrannomon's art is cool

13:00 Ryutaro can't digivolve an Agumon, it can only digivolve a Tyrannomon into a tyranno or dinosaur.

I prefer a green base for more draws, reduced evo costs, and more tamers, and the new promo Tyrannomon.
I thought both the red base and the green base can use the promo Tyrannomon X?
Also which card give the green base more draws?

I do also wish the deck leaned more to green to fit Rust or use pieces like BT11 Agumon, but looking at just for its self Red suits its indentity.

The only green Koromon in the whole game is BT7. We have more than enough red Koromons, GIVE ME MORE GREEN KOROS!
