A PAIR of twins are some of the rarest in the world due to one having Down’s Syndrome and one not. Julia and Michael Toronzcak, share everything in life except a single chromosome, which meant Michael was born with severe Down syndrome. There are currently no statistics on the chances of one twin being born with Down syndrome, making the 22-year-olds from San Diego, California one of the rarest twins in the world.

All the people saying she 'babies' him too much... I do get the concern, but she's had 22 years of learning what works best and what he's happiest and most comfortable with. He's quite profoundly disabled, it's quite possible he just wouldn't be able to respond to anything else.

Funny enough, I'm the same age helping take care of my autistic brother, and it's extremely difficult. But hopefully, God continues to give me and my family a way everyday to do it.

Mike I help take care of my 12 year old austistic brother. Im11. He has a whole fan club and visits my class in school everyday, its so embrassing but he's worth it. I respect you alot, its hard I know that.

Edit: i understand the difference between fraternal twins and identical twins. It really just never occurred to me to think about this. Similarly, as someone who does not live in the caribbean, i had no idea that people in the caribbean islands drove on the left side of the road. It makes sense though, as does the fact that fraternal twins can develop completely differently due to not being made of the same sperm. I just never really had to think about it before. But thank you to everyone who has liked and commented because im very well informed now uwu

What is Julia's future as far as her independence, dating, marriage, family? I hope she will not be afraid to "leave" her brother.
I hope that their parents were able to make arrangements for Michael to live in a place for adults, where he can be safe, happy, and independent later on, when his sister isn't in a position to be a full-time care-giver. It's clear from this video that there won't ever be a time when she will be able to look after him by herself in addition to doing anything else. Michael is very sweet and loving, but his care is a lot of work that doesn't necessarily have to be done only by immediate family.
I hope people leave them alone to make their own choices as a family. Don't decide what they need.

You know I know a friend of mine. Her older sister suffered from kidney failure since the age of 9 yrs old. And now her sister is 33 and on a wheelchair and she lived with my friend and her husband and they take care of her very lovingly. No need to abandon your sibling I think. They can still live together if they think that is the best option and if that is too hard for her she can hire a caregiver

I I am a twin as well and I definitely agree 100% that the twin Bond is definitely miraculous! Definitely we can always speak and finish each other's sentences, even when we are a thousand miles away from each other we had felt what the other was feeling and thought what the other was thinking and this happened for 44 years and 4 years ago my twin died unexpectedly in her sleep, I was at a friend's house and we had just talked like two weeks before that and throughout our whole lives, that we wanted to go together when we died and if the other was to go first we definitely made a pact that we would find a way to let each other know we are in spirit world and the beauty of it and letting each other know we are around in the spirit and we always believe that we were Souls with spirits in a body, I definitely believe that we would still communicate if the other was to die first! Then two weeks after that conversation I was talking to her on the phone, and we both decided we were tired and going to take a nap and to call each other when we wake up! During that nap I dreamed that we were riding Dolphins holding onto hands and the most beautiful peaceful feeling with laughter that I've ever felt in my entire life! Then I was getting ready to call her as I was telling my friend about the dream, however then I received the phone call that said she died in her sleep during that nap!😢😢😢 I basically had to be taken to the hospital and sedated! But the past 4 years I've been battling terminal illnesses and fighting back hard! And I know that my twin is with me everyday and I talked to her and I feel her presence and she is definitely showed me beautiful visions and dreams that is in the spirit world and as well has made it clear that life is like a puzzle and each piece of that puzzle is our life and everything we go through, we will understand that better when we are in the spirit world and understand why certain things happened and why certain things didn't happen, and I believe in my heart and soul that there is a spirit world there is a heaven there is a God and his son Jesus and the gifts of the Holy Spirit because I feel it daily and I seen it miraculously through my twin! Thank you for sharing your video, you are a beautiful heart to help your twin and you both are beautiful hearts and souls and God bless Y'ALL PEACE that passes #ALL understanding ❤❤🙏☝️✌❤❤❤

@@eikukaan377 he doesn't, down syndrome is just a extra chromosome in the dna strands no one is perfect weather you have ds or not he is not any less of a human and if taught right can do what any "normal" person can. Nothing different he has to learn just like everyone else its harder for him but not impossible i have 5 brothers 1 with ds and he is no different he does what we do. no exceptions

So, my little brother has ADHD, and I know that down syndrome and ADHD are VERY different, but I totally understand her. I watched my brother, my only sibling, put up with a lifetime of bullying, and so I understand why shes so protective. Their relationship and the love they have for each other is beautiful. We need more caring, amazing people like them in the world

His sister is his voice and nobody understands him better then she does. Their relationship is one 2nd in a million. It's like the way the child understands when the mom gives that look that they need to get it together and words are never exchanged

I love how she acts like his mom she seems so kind and sweet.
My little brother has autism and when we were younger I was the only person he'd talk to. We were homeschooled and we're only about a year apart, when we were kids we were inseparable. If we went somewhere I went with him and he'd whisper answers to others questions to me when he felt comfortable enough to talk. Even now, he doesn't want to go places without either me or my mom. Kids with autism can be so loving and compassionate, when you really get to know them they have great personalities. My brother doesn't really talk to people but he's hilarious, always making smart jokes and comebacks. On top of that he's great at certain things like electronics and math. He still can't make his own sandwiches, tea or get dressed by himself but he could take apart a computer and put it back the same way. He's really been a blessing in my life
