Neat! Silly questions, but.... where could i get the black cloth and what material did you use? Could i get it at a craft store presumably?

It's a piece of polyester/ cotton cloth. It's fairly thin. I always iron it before I perform the trick so it gets perfectly flat and undetectable. I can't remember where I got it from but I believe it was from a fabric store like Joann's.

Good question. I bought it over 25 years ago and have no clue where. That was before the internet. :-)

by force of unscrewing and screwing, there's a technical problem with the wood??

As long as you don't over-tighten it will be fine. I have used it dozens of times without a problem. Even if it was loose, just screw it in adjacent to your first hole.
