How nice! We sailed the Carnival Dream to the Western Caribbean too back in 2010 when the Dream was still pretty new. We go to Paradise Beach every time we go to Cozumel! Love it there! When we sailed the Dream, we had a Cove Balcony. SOOO close to the water line and super private. Would highly recommend a Cove Balcony on the Dream & Going to Paradise Beach!! Thanks for the memories.
Not owned by Carnival. When I went it wasn't a Carnival Excursion either. Very short, inexpensive taxi ride and as little as $3.00USD to get in (but must spend at least $10.00USD in food/beverages). I think now they have an "All Inclusive" package you can get there for about $63.00USD per person.
How far is the cruise ship dock from the airport in New Orleans ? Can you take an Uber or Lyft from the airport to the dock ? Or is it better to do transportation from the cruise line ?
It's close..maybe 20 minutes..Uber, or Lyft for sure. Cruise line transportation can be a bit of pain..the couple of extra bucks to go at your own pace will be well worth it.
Yes we have been there too. If we are going with others and planning to drink more, we prefer Mr Sanchos, but when it's just the 3 of us we prefer Paradise beach.
@@SharonatSeaTravel I was at Mr Sancho's on 11/13/2018 and Paradise Beach on 11/16/2018 and my assessment is that if you drink a lot and don't care about the quality of the drinks then Mr Sancho's is more bang for your bucks. The foods and drinks at Paradise are better quality than at Mr Sancho's.
so if I have FTTF, is there a special line at guest services or do you walk to the front of the line, or go sign in, or get a text message when its your turn, or how does that work
There is a separate line at guest services for Diamond, Platinum and FTTF guests. Sometimes it's a huge time saver, other times not much of a difference. But usually a shorter wait for sure!! Thanks for watching!!!
Hi Brenda...if you mean in port, most people go to the forward elevators so we went to the midship elevators. There were 2 gangways most ports and the midship one was always empty, but you do have to walk down a few stairs with no elevator access to the gangway deck. Have a great cruise!!!
I think it's great for kids. Our son has as always had a good time. You will see all ages there. If you're looking for a place for small children, Playa Mia is s good choice. But paradise is good for different age kids and adults.

You all live by me. That's awesome!!! Hello neighbors.
I will have to check out paradise Beach.
Great Vlog! I went to Paradise Beach because of you and enjoyed a lot.
Just got back yesterday enjoyed it. We went to Jamaica. Great Cayman, and Cozumel. We gonna miss the ice creams.
Glad you had a great time.
Hey guys we enjoyed the Vlog thank you for sharing and educating us on Paradise Beach. Greatly appreciated. Sincerely Adventures of David and Aaron
Hello, Are you guys going on Mardi Gras 2021 Jan.
I'm big fan.
Did I miss the part where you said how you got downstairs in the morning so quickly? Leaving on the Dream in just over a month!
Go to mid ship & get off at the gangway. Most people go to the front. Much quicker.
@@SharonatSeaTravel Thank you very much!
Is Paradise Beach Club a shore excursion or an island owned by Carnival?
It's one of many beach clubs in Cozumel...(not an island)

Every-time we have been in Cozumel there has been at least 5/6 ships in port.
Yes it's the busiest port I think.

Do you have to bring ur passports into port with you (since it is mexico) to be able to get back onto the ship?
All inclusive?
As little as $3.00USD to get in but must buy at least $10.00USD in food/ beverages. All inclusive price I believe is $63.00USD per person.
Have you tried Mr Sancho's ? $55 for adults ... all you can eat and drink

So Paradise Beach isn’t all inclusive like Mr Sanchos?

Where would you recommend for 2 adults with no kids? We want to lounge, drink margaritas and maybe snorkel.
There's a great excursion through Carnival called La Casa en La Playa. It's an adults only and is amazing!!!
We are going on the Dream in February. Please tell me your trick to get off the ship quickly?

Paradise Beach perfect for younger kids or would you recommend another place? I want to take my grandkids in a couple years on a Caribbean cruise.

@@DinaCruisingThruLife Either would be good, although over 10 would probably like paradise beach better.
Hi, You can rent next to the pool or on the beach?
Yes you have the option to get a chair by the pool or beach. You can even switch after a couple hours if you want.
@@SharonatSeaTravel thank you 🙂
Is it hard to get a taxi back to the port
In Cozumel, it's pretty easy to get taxi's anywhere..they are in abundance.
They line up at Paradise Beach for rides back to the port.
How did you just walk in and buy antibiotics? Did you have to have a prescription?
They are legal over the counter with no prescription!!!
Jamie stop trying to stop a woman shop...lol
