  • God said they aren't supposed to eat at your table. But you would have found that out, had you asked him, and now they've gotten close enough to put a knife in your back...
Ask God, always, ESPECIALLY when making friends.
    Love you!

There are several reasons why you might need to let someone go, but when you love them dearly it can be one of the hardest things you'll ever do, and only God can *fully* see you though it - that's why this particular episode of CB really resonates with people.

You are healed in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Lust is something that grips men AND women every single day. It requires such reliance on God and giving it totally to Him every single day.
"Matthew 18:9 New King James Version (NKJV)
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire."
I urge you brother, whether it may be an app, a certain show or whatever, little by little, begin to strip back and if you are unaware, ask God to guide you on what your triggers are and how you can cut them out.
However be aware that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear." 1 Corinthians 10:13.
Pray with me brother (OR ANYONE ELSE struggling with the same issue!):
Dear Lord, I pray Your Child here O Lord. Lift them up in the hands of Your Angels, so that they do not strike their foot against a stone. Also Father, help them, to pick up their sword, which is Your Word O Lord. Help them to remember, even when being tempted, that Your Word is paramount to any feeling of temptation, and may we walk in that revelation O Lord! Stripping off all shame and guilt, for Your Word says, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus," Romans 8:1 and "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more," Hebrews 8:12. Your Words say O Lord that there is no shame, nor guilt hanging over us Lord as we follow You. It isn't a ticket for us to begin sinning, but it is a reminder that when we do slip up, we need no longer cling to our shame and guilt O Father. Amen!

@@mrjonnybravo21 its very depressing but I love it. Basically its a mech anime thats way more about people and how messed up we all are deep down, than it is about big robot fights. It all revolves around humans trying to postpone an almost biblical armageddon as long as they can, while knowing that basically any day could be their last. The show has lots of biblical themes, but is told through the secular lense of sci-fi, as all the "angels" they encounter are just aliens
EDIT: This fanmade trailer really is a great primer

My wife has asked me a for divorce. She’s already gone and took all her stuff with her. She won’t see and will barely talk to me. How am I supposed to know if I need to let her go or if there’s some way I can fight for our marriage? I cry out to the Lord just like the Psalm, but I don’t yet see Him moving. How can I know what His will is for this crisis?

I went through the same thing last year. It was the hardest thing I've been through in my life. She made it abundantly clear through her actions that there was nothing I could do to stop her, and I eventually had to let her go so I could focus on taking care of myself and our three children.
Our divorce was final as of May 5th this year. I still pray that she will someday feel convicted and want to rebuild our family. But all I can do is focus on my relationship with God and allow him to work in my life. Sometimes we need to be broken down before God can start to build us back up.

Prayer is good. Fasting is better as it tends to attract the Lord and hear your prayers.
I'm not shire if you mean she won't see you or she can't see the Lord. But God hates divorce. Divorce is forbidden with the exception of sexcutal immorality.
A women is to be submissive to her man and a man in to appear christ like onto his wife and kids and be the Sheppard.
      Matthew 19
      New International Version
      Divorce
19 When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. 2 Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”
4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
It is also said that if a married women commits adultery he must put her away. But if she repents he must take her back.

There's only one marriage in Christianity, remember that, no remarriage. Keep calling him, but not just call, have trust and have faith, someone with faith should not be anxious, remember that.

I'm married with three kids and a fourth on the way. I know several highly respected people who have gone through what sound like horrendous divorces. There are all kinds of reasons and pit falls and sadnesses that can and do happen on this earth. Not every situation is the same. While a couple of these comments mean well bringing up Jesus's words on divorce and while I would probably agree - you have to remember the context - there were people at the time using the Law of Moses to divorce their wives because they had gotten into affairs and wanted to make their affairs legal - people would heartlessly divorce because the law said it only required a piece of paper. So, to remember the context of Jesus's words is hopeful for us.
My wife is awesome. I dated a girl at one time who I thought was awesome, but it could have been disastrous if we had gone through with marriage. I'm thankful that relationship did not work out - I avoided some awful things. That being said - all kinds of circumstances come our way. Things change, things get revealed later. Since you are married, I would say to fight for your marriage in prayer. Take this as an opportunity to seek God about this and straight up ask Him if there's anything you can do or anything He can do. Your wife can make her own decisions - we don't pray to manipulate people - but we do live in a world where the devil and his demons dump wicked thoughts into people who assume those thoughts are their own. That's what we fight against when we pray, we ask God to intervene and to open people's eyes. To give them the opportunity to see clearly rather than act off of some distortion they have accepted as truth. And we hope they then make the right choice.
Check out Jimmy Evans videos on Marriage on the Rock - it's a 12 video series that's awesome and has really helped my wife and I and our friends. We just went through these videos again recently. What stood out to me about this is what he says immediately in the first video - your marriage has a 100% chance of success. Two people who fight for each other can fight through anything - if they want to.
Since we're talking about biblical perspectives on marriage and divorce - remember Paul's good words in 1 Corinthians 7 - if a believer is married to an unbeliever and the unbeliever wants a divorce - let them go. Think of it like when someone comes to the cross and gets saved - their old life is behind them, their new life is before them. Seems like a new marriage could be on that horizon. I've helped financially counsel single people and divorced people - one of the best things to do financially in life is to be married, statistics show that easily enough.

I wish I was never apart of any of this. God wanted a family God wanted to make man God made us conscious free will beings (to an extent). I’ve come to realize you can’t love God without fear though. I honestly just don’t want to go to hell but I don’t think there should be only two options either. Do as God says or hell is that really free will? No because it’s like you have the choice sure but your choices are chosen for you with predetermined outcomes and consequences. So okay maybe one doesn’t deserve to get into heaven but eternal damnation for temporary sins? Yeah no thanks just should’ve left me in oblivion. Nothing on this planet or in this life is worth it when it will only perish and pass away anyway.

“It was particularly characteristic of Staretz Silouan to pray for the dead suffering in the Hell of separation from God”, writes Father Sophrony and he goes to recall an exchange that he overheard between the Staretz and a hermit:
I remember a conversation between him and a certain hermit, who declared with evident satisfaction, “God will punish all atheists. They will burn in everlasting fire”. Obviously upset, the Staretz said: ‘Tell me, supposing you went to Paradise and then looked down and saw somebody burning in Hellfire - would you feel happy?’ ‘It can’t be helped. It would be their own fault,’ replied the hermit. The Staretz answered him with a sorrowful countenance: ‘Love could not bear that,’ he said. ‘We must pray for all!’
Best wishes brother with much love. God is love. God became man to suffer as man does. Anything you feel God feels. And God was not content to Lord pver creation as some cold and distant father. He enters into its sorrowful core as our Brother. Just talk to Him about Your burdens. You dont have to feel like things will work out. For He will account for you regardless. All things are grace and he will embrace you. Free will is just a matter of how long it will take. But He will always win out. And His victory is to see His children fully embracing His love
