Wonderful tutorial! I love the explanations of how to use your brushes to paint the asparagus. That's where I feel like I need the most help...actually knowing how to make the most out of each brush and use it effectively. Thank you!!

Thank you very much, Abbie, for taking the time to demonstrate your amazing brushes in action. Awesome Asparagus. Your talent shines through and is wonderful to watch.

Fantastic. Just as I was wondering how to go about making my own watercolour textured canvas, you put up this video. I am going to go ahead and experiment with the paper texture brushes.

I purchased your watercolor brush set and would love a tutorial on how exactly to use each one. They seem to be made for a specific purpose, but it's hard to know how to use them. Also, how do you seem to be blending as you paint when you do the asparagus? Mine just layer in harsh lines when I lift the pencil and then apply more color.

I know, me too! It’s so unfortunate there is such a disconnect from the tutorials published by the creator.... check out mariedricot.com/how-to-paint-a-floral-wreath-with-procreate/. Also wooly pronto makes a lot of tutorials on TH-cam using this brush set. Hope this helps!

You have to vary the pressure within that 1 stroke. Press hard for bolder color and slowly lift the pressure off your pencil to achieve that faded/blended look without lifting your pencil completely yet, when you’re happy with the result then you can lift the pencil and repeat the process on areas you want to shade.

I love this brush set and purchased it yesterday. I’ve been playing around all day and would love some tutorials on how you made the images in the description on uproot/ sort of a primer on how to best use the brushes. I’m so excited to learn and play!

I hate to say it...but there is rarely a request from “Abbie” on legitimate concerns regarding her brush sets. However, question or fault her...and she responds rather quickly! I say just bypass her completely...check out mariedricot.com/blog-tutorial-watercolor-procreate/. I found it helpful. Abbie is the worst...so glad I just downloaded her set for free online

I bought these brushes, and I want to learn how to use them as effectively as possible, but my soft and damp brush doesn't look like that when I use it. What can I do to fix this?

can't you just create the background textures once and then save that as a template for future use? And, then just share the templates with us????

These are great brushes. But I purchased the package prior to your release of the new Procreate 5 brushes. Is there any way to download an update to add those brushes after a previous purchase?

    • @Michelles-Studio
      @Michelles-Studio 4 ปีที่แล้ว

You should have received an email with a link to the updated brushes. If not, send a copy of your receipt from the previous purchase requesting the update and she will send it.

I’m finding this hard to follow, unable to create a canvas like this. I probably need to understand how layers work with their different settings and modes first.

I bought this brush set and tried to make paper texture but when I paint with paper hand pressed brush it doesn't give me texture. It just gives solid color. How can I solve this?

  • @sadepennbrook

Hey, I can’t buy your set if you don’t provide a video on what’s exactly in the set and how do they perform. Some buyers like myself are more specific on what brushes we need. Almost every seller on DesignCuts has a demonstration video of every single brush item. Why not yours? Your set, I believe, are the only ones that do a true big natural “blooming” wet effect without the use of png’s or stamps. Some sets claim they do it, but they are puny and small. I’ve wasted money experimenting. I have to make sure yours do it before buying.

      Hi Sade
I have multiple videos available using this set. Also, there is an entire watercolour course which is also free, you can sign up on my website and it will give you access to all of the lessons and a lot of free brushes and instructional PDFs. Perhaps scrolling through the course videos will give you more confidence about the purchase. The lesson about creating a watery landscape demonstrates a lot of bloom effects and which brushes to use to achieve them.
      All the best
      Abbie
