How To Build A Round Pen

- Hey Tribal Acres Fam! We just built our first round pen and made a video so you could see how we did it. We give instructions and explain how we built it in this video.

Great video. We did a few round pen trials without using wood. It worked but then the cats and donkeys used it as a play toy lol. Looking forward to more videos if you plan to upload more!?!

The only issue with this pen is that if your boards should be on the inside so that the posts help hold the planks on where as having them on the outside if a horse or cold runs into it it could pop off and make a hole

What size posts do you use? What size boards?
why are you putting your boards on the outside? horses push against them and they pop off.
How deep did you bury the posts?
Hello. Thanks for watching. They were two feet deep.
Are the boards curved?
No, they are just a straight board. The boards run straight, you mark it out in a circle though. So at every post it crates the round that you are wanting.

24 for the round pen and two for the gate.

About how much did this cost ?
We bought used posts for almost a dollar each. If you bought it all new I would estimate around $540.00-$600.00. Everything you would need can be purchased at Tractor Supply.

❤Gate is too small you and a in hurry horse or two horses. Some thing hit the gate hope not a shoulder gravel in holes hrings up poles for drainage
