Noo.. just boil the cup for 5-7 mins in the start and the end of your menstrual cycle When uh remove it after 12 hours at that tym uh should just wash it with plain water or uh can use a menstrual cup wash bt it shouldn't contain any oils and fragrance to it... I'm a cuvert so i would suggest uh to empty your cup more frequently after 8-10 hours... it avoids smell so ..
