IThe numbers represent the funtction the chords have in a key. For the key of G it would be: I=G, II=Am, III=Bm, IV=C, V=D, VI=Em, VII=F#m, VIII=I=G. Now if you know what the Numbers stand for in every key you can e.g. easily transpose songs.
This beautiful song is tainted slightly because Hillsong completely ripped the music from Tony Anderson song Rise it's exactly the same written 3 yrs before creed was released. I don't see Hillsong giving any credits for Tony.
Just curious. . . Why do you try to hide the chords that your playing? If you’re truly someone who just wants others to be able to play and worship with you, you wont hide each chord switch, or change guitar views, or whatever. Just play it with normal chords in plain view!!!
