You can mix 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water. Pour it in and make some cubes. Throw the cubes out and drain the water/vinegar. Then rinse it and make some cubes with regular water. Throw the cubes out and drain the water. Make some more cubes and toss them if they smell like vinegar or keep them if they don't. If the taste is still bad. Make more cubes with the vinegar water. You can also wipe out the interior. Just make sure you are using a clean cloth or paper towels so you don't contaminate the insides. I would also make sure your hands are clean too.
So there is really no way to actually wipe down inside the little compartment/tub that the ice is molded and froze huh. I did the vinegar thing and it looks better but still some stuff that needs wiped off
@@kittykat4802 you can wipe it down, I just bought mine used and to clean it (it’s practically brand new and has only been used once but I wasn’t taking any chances) I wiped it down with a rag and soap then rinsed it the same way. It allows you to reach the back of the ice machine and get anything molding off
We have some stainless steel water bottles that have a 1 1/4" opening. They will fit inside those. I don't know if they would fit inside a plastic water bottle you would buy at the store. The cubes eventually melt and get recycled. The cubes at the bottom of the basket are smaller due to melting so they might fit.
Just recevied my amazing ice machine. I am curious, does the light blink continuously when power butron is "off" or am I supposed to unplug each time it is not in use. Thank you!
How long did you step away from the machine? It's supposed to make ice within 6-15 minutes. I've had our machine on for over an hour and nothing happened?
How do you turn these machines off I don't know if you press it for 3 seconds or 5 seconds I got rid of my instructions on accident and I can never get it to turn off when I push the power button
The only part that is cooled down is the metal where the ice is formed. Is that what you are referring to? The water isn't cooled directly but it would get cooled as the ice cubes metal. When it is on do you feeling warm air blowing from the fan? That would indicate the compressor is working. It shouldn't take too long for ice to form. If it isn't working, I would contact the seller.
@@Rickmakes yes, the fan blowing but my water not even frozen. Left for few hour to let it run. Still dont make it. Btw, thanks for fast reply. Cheers mate
Thanks for the video. Do you have any idea where I could purchase a replacement bottom plug? We have emailed the company but no response so far. Thanks in advance

Thank you this was help to have visual explanation as manual is sparse. While I understood it was supposed to be simple was hoping manual would have provided a little more information. I would love to know what “cleaning solution” should be used. I may I also suggest a part video on how to clean a new machine (before use) and a machine that has been in use for a while. The manual again lacks details around how to perform these tasks.
There is likely some mechanism in it that detects when the water is low. It could be defective. First off, I would make sure you removed all packing material. If you don't find anything, I would contact the seller and see if they can offer advice.
Just replaced one of the blue switches inside. Makes ice agqin but now the metal ice prongs seem to be flaking off in my ice??! Does anyone know why this is happening?
It is working great. We'll plug it in a day or two before we need ice (like for a family gathering) and then unplug it and drain it when we are done. If we had a dedicated bar area, we would probably leave it plugged in all of the time.
o! let me tell you what a car is about... it is better than your bicycle... it has 4 wheels... and it goes when you crank it... and it also submits to being parked... if you need more information and understanding, just buy one! o! ok! thank you so so so much for your great effort at iceducating me on my dad's car I have been riding for the last 15 years!... yeah! thankuh ya!

I just got one of these on a garage sale this is very helpful!
How long does it take for it to start making ice
This machine is amazing
I'm amazed that it makes ice faster than our large ice maker in our refrigerator.
Thanks for the information on the ice maker I'm going to get it 👍👍
Where can I get the replacement basket for this model?
We use it when camping. So much better than bags or ice trays!
Great video! Mine is not making ice. I cleaned it thoroughly and would like to know how to clean the water filter.
Will the small ones fit in a water bottle?

Both settings fit that's what my daughter does lol
How much electricity does it use?
How much electricity to run?

Where can I get the basket and scoop separately? I lost them and now can't make any ice
You might try contacting the seller to see if they can send you them.

what type of water is used? distilled, bottled or tap?
Tap water although you could use filtered water (like through a Brita, PUR, etc...). Bottled water would also work.
The steel finger inside suppose to be cold right? Mine not even cold even the water not cold at all

What happens if its plugged in, all the lights are on but nothing works?
I would check that the ice full sensor is not obscured.
@@Rickmakes thank you

Great in RVs
