  • Make sure you preload the thrust arms before tightening down the bolts..Which I didn’t do to after the video was made..This so your thrust arm will be laying In the correct position when you tighten them down! 👍 Fail to complete this procedure will end of with premature wear on the thrust arms bushings..With the tires took off..Lower the thrust arm on A jack stand..Resting on the bottom of the steering knuckle where the ball joints are located..Let down the car with the jack till it no longer support the car..Only resting all the car weighted frame on the jack stand..And then tighten down the bolt! You will have to lay on your back or stomach to tighten do the bolts..😏Because the vehicle will be real low to the ground!

      If you going to the track 🏁 a lot or making fast deep turns 60 mph in up..Get the brand Syncro..If you going to be driving in the city or highway most of the time..Get the OEM brand Lemforder

      Happy New Year Bro! 🎆 Thanks! Yes it did affect the Alignment A little..By causing the toe to point the tires slightly inward..So you will loose A little more tire tread than usual..While gaining more ability to corner In turns and curves! 🏁 I got more videos on the way! Back at it 💪🏾

    How much does it improve steering feel? Is it worth the $400 extra cost over the lemforder option? I know its same comfort but how much does it improve the steering feel? Does it actually make a noticeable difference or actually improve it enough to effect handling in corners? Does it tightent up the steering? (I've heard it tightens up the steering and makes it feel close to a bmw with the stiffer steering feel but I'm not sure how true this is. please give me your thoughts on how much it tightens the steering and imrpoves the handling if it does.

    • @legendarycars9997
      @legendarycars9997  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I noticed alot difference after I got the alignment done,It tightened the steering down so much..It makes you say it to yourself,man the steering is super tight! You will notice better handling do to the tightness of the steering wheel and corners if driven fast around them..Maybe it helps some on the corners..Because when you go get the alignment done..The alignment is not dead centered..It has A slightly inward curve in its stance! Is it worth the extra money..On the streets..The answer is no! On the track..Yes! 🏁

      @@legendarycars9997 thanks for the information. I have a 2007 E550 which I don’t plan to bring to the track at all just Daily drive normal roads and maybe a fun twisty back road every now and then. Do you recommend these upgraded control arms or the cheaper lemforder option?

I would still like to push the car on some backroads and what not but I just want to know if its possible to describe the steering feel difference? does it make a huge differnece in terms of steering feel and performance is it really that much better. Sorry for asking alot of questions I just want to know if the extra price is really worth and noticeable in steering feel for the upgraded ones.

      @@AshishBalajiR Nah you good! Ask how many questions as needed to make your decision! It’s A big difference In the steering! Much tighter so it corners better! It’s also A way more better feel..When you holding the steering wheel..Do to the tightness..It’s give you A more secure and confidence of control on the road! If you can afford it and it don’t bother your pockets..Get the Syncro ! 👍🏾 But if you want to save a lot more money and still get good corners,nice feel and control of steering on the road..Not the most you can get out of your W211..But it’s still good as it can be..Get the Lemforder!

      What I have experienced so far..No bad effects or changing. The benefits..✅ It helps on steering/handling and add more stability to your suspension..Reducing time failure of other front suspension parts like your lower control arms..While reducing tire wear as well!👍

      I just bought these for my clk550 coupe. Love the car. Hate the steering response. VERY vague and not agile over bumps. I recently replaced with the original lemforder arms and bushings and it sucks. I hope these makes all the difference!! Great video ❤

  • @FA_DESIGNS

    We’re you getting any symptoms from the original thrust arms such as creaking when turning etc.? Im currently experiencing some creaking when turning in my 2008 E63 AMG, and was told the thrust arms were the culprit, so looking to upgrade to these synchros…Also what is the driving experience now with the upgraded thrust arms?

    • @legendarycars9997
      @legendarycars9997  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No I was getting A clunky noise when I make A deep turn and thought it was my thrust arms. But it wasn't..But still needed changing because the bushing was showing wear of dryness and cracks In them..The Syncro thrust arms took away some of the clunky noise..And yes it makes your car more agile and better with deep turns! The drive comfort with the Syncro is the same as it is with the original thrust arms! I bought them because it adds more stabilization to your front suspension and last 2-3 times longer than the original!

  • @aarondavis8433
    @aarondavis8433 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Easier way to load the suspension and have clearance is put the wheel on first and lower the wheel/tire assembly on to cinder blocks or bricks. This wiil give you the height you need under the bumper while putting weight on the suspension.
    How do those Syncros feel on there? Just replaced my thrust arms with the
    OE and wonder if i should switch

    • @legendarycars9997
      @legendarycars9997  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the tip! 👍🏾 I bought some race ramps 🏁 A while back for the preloading! It's best to stick with OE because when it come to getting A alignment..The computer going to say in need for Camber/Caster adjuster bolts which I searched and haven't found any out there..Leaving both tires leaning in slightly like it’s pigeon toe..Which helps with the cornering ability! Which only necessary for the track! The Syncro and the OE thrust arms both feel the same..Same comfort..The only thing I feel is different is the Syncro will last way longer and is better at cornering! But just for commute driving the OE is the best pick! And you will be able to get your car alignment straight..Preventing tire wear..Lasting A longer time! Stay with OE for the streets..Go with Syncro for the track!

    I didn't see you do it in the video/or I might have missed it. But I didn't see you lower the car on Jack stands to how the car would be sitting leveled to the ground before tighing the bolts. Lots of people make that mistake and the thrust arms go bad too soon because there is a lot of pressure sitting on the arms.

    • @legendarycars9997
      @legendarycars9997  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No didn't preload the thrust arms before I tighten the bolts down in the video..Did A lil research and yes you right! It's very important or risk the thrust arm causing premature wear! Went back today and corrected the procedure!👍 Thanks.
