edit:i was only focusing that even if he didnt have the ability to lock in and kill gohan, he still have another choice where assualt chain can prevent him getting cover changed. My point was not saying that goresh missed the optimal play, just that it was also a great chance and moment to show off that the assault chain mechanic was such a powerful thing
why would he need to use it when it was already a guaranteed kill with goku's ult
You do realize he did that to lock in gohan to guarantee kill him and nullify endurance
There’s also muscle memory at this point. Probably use to avoiding strike cards vs gohan and ui

Idk if this is a tip, but if you fight an enemy vegito and you don't want to switch to a different unit fearing the enemy has a rush, keep an eye on vegito's gauge. If its not full the enemy didn't have a rush yet and you can play around that
The gauge isn't always accurate because of dragon ball destruction affects but the gauge is still a good indicator

I wonder what they can possibly do in Part 2 to top Part 1? If it’s just God Goku it’s easy skip. Even if it’s Games Original Freiza/Cooler I feel like it wouldn’t be hype but again… nobody expected double LF for Part 1… so we’re pretty much left in the dark
I mean double lf was pretty much expected, (due to the 50 mind leak), but the hype for these is unreal. It could be Goku Black and Zamasu that fuse

But that leaves the possibility… will they introduce a new mechanic in part 2 or 3? Or perhaps just a typical LF? (God Ki perhaps or maybe even Uni Rep?)

For me I have a easier time dealing with the ultras with gogeta
Ignoring the new abilities for both of them Vegito has the better kit BUT Gogeta’s color and his Assault Chain(which is far better than the Vegito RR guaranteed) and the fact that he ignores Gohan’s AOE makes Gogeta undoubtedly better for me
Both are equally good in my opinion, both have extremely viable boosts and teams.

From my experience (3* SV 4* GB both fully arts boosted and with a zenkai bench) Vegito seems much better.
In my opinion he's funnier, easier to use and he has better animations compared to GB, and I say this as a Gogeta fan and as a Vegito hater
