Can’t wait for the mountain passes to open again! Love the quality of the video… seems like a chest mount is the way to go for relaxed riding videos? It’s very smooth.
What are your settings on the DJI? Colors look very natural to me! As for the sound, I think that’s good too but, if you have the mic exposed outside and your bike has a stock exhaust, there’s not much you can do to improve it… it will always pick up other noises afaik.

Me too, actually this is my favorite type of road, there is something mesmerizing about these sharp turns and views, views gets me every time. Yeah, I found out it has more natural look rather than chin mount when you turn your head from time to time.
I use 4k at 50 fps with ND16 shot in D-LogM, no LUTs, just colorgraded in post. In this video I used cheap mic which isn't the best decision I made and after I got DJI Mic 2 - the difference is just like night and day, what is clearly made a lot more of immersion in the scene. But you're right, there's not much you can do with the stock exhaust. Where do you put your mic?

@ I put mine outside of my backpack but I don’t have the DJI Mic 2, I use a Hollyland Lark M2 which works great but after 95-100 km/h there’s just too much wind noise.
What I do is compress the audio in post and increase the master gain so that the exhaust sounds punchier, the positioning of the mic further reduces the noise of other bikes components.
I’ll be gettin a chest mount ASAP. You gained a new sub!

What I paid attention to when choosing a microphone is the max spl, your microphone has 115dB, the higher this value, the better it copes with sound pressure (sharp loud noises, wind noise, etc.). My microphone has a max spl value of 120dB. It also helped me to reduce the high frequencies in post-production to reduce the level of audible noise. Also subbed to your channel, I like your riding style.

@ oh for sure the DJI is the better mic but at the time of my purchase €126 sounded better than €349. If I’ll ever get a louder exhaust/motorcycle I might need to upgrade, as you said max spl is too low and clips with just the wind noise. Thanks for the sub! More videos to come as weather gets better!

For our purposes there is no need to buy whole bundle, instead I bought just one mic and it cost me less than €100
