He took the hook from Billy Currington - That's How Country Boys Roll. Billy Currington, Deirks Bentley, and Jason Aldean were what 90s music were supposed to turn into with all of the latest technological enhancements. Rascal Flatts changed the game as well
Debut Country album*. He has a bluegrass solo album as well as being the lead singer for the Bluegrass band ‘North Country’ which has an album out as well with him on it.
Sounding like some old school Clint Black or something. This is straight gold. Zach Top starting off 2024 bringing me back to 1994. Traditional country is back!
It looks like they tried to make him look like Alan Jackson with the mustache n glasses at the start of the video. The black hat definitely gives off the Clint Black or maybe even George Strait look too.
This guys manager is the same guy who was manager for Alan Jackson and Clint Black. Seems like he just took all of Alan Jackson’s old clothes and threw them on Zack 😂
Holy hell.. Country is back! This guy is bringing back the country my mom raised me on. That 80s and 90s sound with fiddles and steel guitars. Not some weird country pop or rap, but plain old country
Born in 84 so 90s counrty was what I knew to be country as a kid. Zack brings me back to the good ole days of counrty music. He's got something special going on!
Just saw this guy in Tucker, GA at a brewery. It was refreshing to hear ACTUAL country music again instead of imitation country that's just pop music. Steel guitar, fiddle. Man I love it. Zach stayed the WHOLE TIME after the show until every last fan got a handshake and a picture with him, and thanked us for coming. This guy is a class act. He even played in the pouring rain with an acoustic when the electronics went out. This guy is the real deal.
I'm this guy's twin! I got a mustache, play a telecaster, and am determined to try and bring country back. Also he's the first guy I've seen rockin with a Brent Mason tele besides Brent himself. Love it!!!
Am I the first to say Zack Top sounds just like Zack Top? Never thought I would get sick of people comparing him to every 90's country artist with a hit but I am there, let this man be who he is and just hope he keeps pumping out great country.....
Got chills every single time listening to this. Damn reminds me of my ma in the morning cleaning the kitchen while I’m barely waking up, her radio blasting on a sunny summer morning… nothing better.
I just posted asking if that was Cheyenne Dalton before reading the comments. Super awesome seeing Cheyenne out there killing it! Followed her shooting IG and would see her play the heck out of that blue grass music. This is awesome!
@anthonylopez6645 Hiya Anthony... I'm an old " grasser " , from wayyyy back in the day. Can't say I know the lady in question here, but I recognize a damn good fiddler, when I hear one. She's got tons of talent, I know that also. Does she play with any particular bluegrass band ??? I tell ya, I've lost out on so much, since I don't play the circuit, and all the festivals anymore..hagd and tc all..😊😊
I kept hearing this on the radio but I thought it was from the 90s. I always got confused why a a song from the 90s was referencing 94 but it always makes sense. He’s just so good that I can’t even tell
Heavens what a voice and talent. I have been listening to this gentleman ever since I knew he existed probably 2000-2001 something like that. I remember calling 103.3 FM WTCR Radio and requesting his songs. I can’t understand why country music has abandoned country music.
Learning so much as a country artist myself listening to this guy. And he’s from right down the road! Need to be hearing him a lot more on the radio, ASAP!
Wow, just wow. I heard this song (And Zach) for the first time on a classic country radio station a few days ago and I honestly mistook it for an older song I hadn't heard before. This is exactly the kind of old-school sound Nashville has been missing for too long.
Y’all folks share this video with everyone as much as possible because we need this song to be everywhere in country music to know who the real country music cowboy is today
Now this is the country music and it reminds of growing up a country boy in Texas. Country music needs an artist like this. Definitely my number one country artist.
We literally bought tickets to Lainey Wilson and you opened for her. My daughter said you were the best part of the show! She is 9 and can't wait to see you at your own concert!
Wow! This gives me hope for Country Music. Carson Chamberlain knows exactly what he’s doing. With years with Keith Whitley as Band Leader and an extremely talented musician he definitely has the experience. Awesome Zach great job.
This is a Country hit song waiting to happen ! Keep it light hearted, a little corny, and humorous like this song is, and you got 80's Country Gold. Nice work and a great song ! Thank you for sharing your Music Zach ! Keep Twanging ! From Steven in America's Dairyland Wi.
I was listening to the radio the other day, and this song came on. I thought for over half the song; this must be a 90s hit i missed out on. Nope, this was freshly cooked up not long ago. Incredible. Thank you for leading the way back to how it should have always been. A good party track, no college yuppie pop frills.
Babe wake up, new Zach Top media is dropping
Joe Diffie would be proud
Alan Jackson would be proud.

My first impression was brooks and Dunn
He took the hook from Billy Currington - That's How Country Boys Roll. Billy Currington, Deirks Bentley, and Jason Aldean were what 90s music were supposed to turn into with all of the latest technological enhancements. Rascal Flatts changed the game as well
i got a little classic garth brooks in there too
I heard this on a station out in West Texas on my way back from New Mexico. Came here to find it again. This is COUNTRY
The first person that comes to mind is Daryle Singletary

Lets hope that sound will take off again,, prob wont, but at least some are doing it
By far the most 90s sounding country I've heard in a while, great job.
Mmm Jon Pardi and Cojo. But yeah, pretty bleak after these guys.
To me it sounds more 90s than Pardi and Cojo?
