Wow! I'm sure John Chowning must be ecstatic about how his concept of FM synthesis has developed. As ever, your descriptions are clear and concise with lots of relevant examples. Well done Leo!
Great addition to Cubasis.. would love to see these IAPs as separate AUv3 available in all hosts.. still happy to have these amazing sounds within Cubasis.. there seems to be enough to tweak within each patch.. of course we always want more control.. love the clarity + crispness of some of the presets.. I had my eye on the Halion IAP as the 1st one to get but you’ve changed my mind with this video Leo.. NeoFM will be 1st.. of course I’d love to win it here first.. as always, thanks for the demo + giveaway.. this was truly a pleasure for the ears.. look forward to the other IAP demos..
Fantastic! it’s not a replica of Desktop plugin but they have not compromised with the quality 😮 that’s what I like about it. I’m interested on this giveaway 🎉
Well, thanks for this tutorial, Leo! I'll admit I was initially most interested in the Holion Sonic Selection IAP. I really hadn't yet given much thought yet to Neo FM and FM Classics. Thanks for opening my eyes (and ears) to these other possibilities. Nice!
Helo.I haven’t even finished to watched but yet I can say all these presets are great. Unfortunatly I cannot afford these iap - it is to expensive for me at the moment so it would be great to win. I hope its possible :-) Your videos are very informative and competent as always. Thx
Very nice. Unfortunately I haven’t got, or can afford Cubasis (didn’t win 😢) so the IAP wouldn’t be much use. I’ve liked and commented just to keep up your stats 👍😀
Fantastic sounds !! As a Cubasis user I always wanted desktop Cubase synth on ios. Though they are not complete identical but they are great sounding. I haven’t bought yet so I’ll definitely bet on this. 😮😊
Good presentation of the sounds. To me, FM synthesis is untameable, but has such a special timber… I like the Quick feature of the controls. The sounds are great!
The new features in Cubasis look amazing & this synth sounds phenomenal. Apart from owning an actual DX-7 (I don’t), using another high quality auv3 plugin like Buttersynth or BA-1 might be only way to achieve such great sounds. Thanks for an excellent tutorial, Leo!👌
I have left Cubasis behind me after the latest disappointing update. No new features just a few IAP's. The sound modules sound nice but not more than that and are very limited. If they had made the new sound modules AUv3 then at least we could use them in other DAW's. Logic Pro for iPad, although not perfect is so much better then Cubasis now and it doesn't seem that Steinberg is putting in the effort to rival them.
@@soundformore I think that Logic Pro for iPad is meant to be an iPad only experience by Apple. It's Logic Pro on the go without midi controller. If you look at it like that it's quite good but it is certainly not a complete DAW.
@mango4two101 it could be quite powerful if they improve the mid implementation with controllers and midi routing via the mixer… at that point it could be a killer DAW for iPad…
@@soundformore I do agree, but unfortunately I don't think that Apple will allow it to become a competitor for Logic Pro on the desktop, hence no midi implementation.
@soundformore: The fact that you prefer Cubasis 3.6 over Logic Pro for iPad 1.1 after having made all those tutorials and understanding it so completely is quite significant . Great job here again.. Please continue the series . I prefer the CB3 sounds to the logic ones .
So you are basically limited to very basic preset customisation and cannot design a new sound with this. Calling that plugin an FM synth is misleading, although it is used under the hood.
Being a user of Cubasis 3, Neo FM would be a great addition to my existing instrument library. Thank you for the demonstration.
👍👍
Dove in and got this one. No regrets at all. Clear sound and great implementation of MIDI on Cubasis 3. Thanks Leo!
Fantastic
Thanks for the vid. I have the Halion IAP but still pondering this and FM Classic
Neo Fm and Halion are the best in my opinion, but the Fm Classics give you that additional classic repertoire… :)
Wow! I'm sure John Chowning must be ecstatic about how his concept of FM synthesis has developed. As ever, your descriptions are clear and concise with lots of relevant examples. Well done Leo!
Thank you very much
I bought the Halion instruments and they are impressive. I also like this one a lot, thank you for this demo and the giveaway!
Yes, great instruments…
As the jedis say… these are the IAP we have been looking for … 🤣
@@soundformore true 😂
Love these sounds. Thanks for showing these off. I’m listening to this and salivating at the crispness & variety in the sounds.
Yes the sound quality is great
Cannot have enough FM-tools - this one seems to be a must. Thanks for the vid and the giveaway, Leo!🙏🏽🧔🏼👍🏽
Oh yes… this is a must on iOS…
Very gorgeous sounding synth, I hope to win this 🙏
Good luck
These are way better than their standard factory ones. Thanks for the FM demo. Was the first time hearing the new IAP’s.
It is superb…
It’s amazing ! This is gonna be fav stock plugin in Cubasis. I would love to win this🙏. Happy New Year Leo
Good luck and Happy New Year

This is really a worthy addon to Cubasis Daw. I’m stoked for this 🤞
It is gorgeous… some sounds better than the Montage…
Brilliant, great demo and great synth! The quick edit is a great idea, go Cubasis! Best wishes for the new year Leo! 🎆
Thank you, you too
It’s really a great addon to Cubasis app, I’m more excited for Halion synth IAP. Thanks Leo 🎉and Happy New Year 🥳 in Advance
Thank you
Wow very nice sound, I like 'Machine made' sound a lot :-)
👍👍
Now that I just got Cubasis I am intrigued by this …that “Cold Presence” patch !
So good…
Nice man! Was just thinking I’d like to start getting into Cubasis .. It’s just been sitting on my iPad collecting digital dust
Can you imagine if we could sell that digital dust?
Fantastic! it’s not a replica of Desktop plugin but they have not compromised with the quality 😮 that’s what I like about it. I’m interested on this giveaway 🎉
Good luck
Cubasis IAP are always welcome. Happy New Year Leo. Best Wishes. 🎉
Thank you, to you too
Very Impressive. Thank you for this tutorial!!!
The sound on this Synth is unbelievable…
@@soundformoreYes, for sure!!
Excellent as always! Thanks for another deep dive :)

Neo FM is my favourite…
I bought Cubasis a few months ago and would not mind adding this to it. 😉
👍👍
Sounds great! I kinda want to try it out for myself now
Good luck
Fantastic sounds of this NeoFM synth. Please I wants this
Good luck

Yes you need cubasis 3.6 for this… but it is worth it … ;)
@@soundformore thanks. I’ll either have to save up or wait for the next giveaway 😀👍
Thanks for the nice Neo FM Review!
Thank you
Thank you for sharing .❤
👍👍
This synth is mind-blowing. Excellent video my friend and I would love a code for this 😊
Thanks
Fantastic sounds !! As a Cubasis user I always wanted desktop Cubase synth on ios. Though they are not complete identical but they are great sounding. I haven’t bought yet so I’ll definitely bet on this. 😮😊
The engine seems there, but the UI seems restricted or yet to come…
@@soundformore Hmm , We want more control over the sound.
That would be awesome
@@soundformore Yeah
Good presentation of the sounds. To me, FM synthesis is untameable, but has such a special timber… I like the Quick feature of the controls. The sounds are great!
Yes i can understand, it is more difficult to control especially if you use 8 operators… :)
Awesome. Thx Leo

❤Great sounds!
👍👍
I gotta have some Neo FM in my life ❤❤❤
👍👍
Sounds great Leo. CB3 needed more usable sounds
For a moment I thought CB3 was a new droid from, star wars… LOL… yes it needed it
@@soundformore 😂 These are the IAPs you’ve been looking for!
@MachineSequence Great, Fantastic 😂
@MachineSequence check the thumbnail again… LOL
@@soundformore 🤣 A great addition! 🤖
Is it better to use one instrument with different presets or different instruments or does it even matter for system resources?
Same instrument and different presets seems lighter on system resources from my tests…
I always prefer Cubasis 3. over all the other daw on IOS. 👍
👍👍👍
Great sounds, not a fan of FM synths but I like this one!
Happy New Year
@@soundformore you too!
Great sounding synths. But I am a little disappointed that you can’t map none of these parameters to an external controllers.
Maybe next time…
Does this library have sounds that doesn't have the Halion Sonic Selection?
Different synth…
@@soundformore Thanks you! I'm new in the synths world and I think this sounds are amazing for the composition I do :)
@KmiiComposer 👍👍
How to Mp3 Export please
