It’s really more so the fact that Tails’ brain was quickly processing what happened. It sometimes takes a moment for a young kid to realize what just happened before the emotions kick in. This happened to me a couple times in my childhood, waiting a moment before actually reacting.

This just reminded me about an incident my mom told me about when i was 5, i was riding my little tikes bike when i thought "wonder what would happen in i rode down the stairs?" I did so, there was blood pooling from the 3-4 inch gash on my forehead. My mom and grandma were in a panic. I had to be driven to the local hospital in an ambulance, the scar is still there

I know what falling down the stairs and getting hurt is like. One time, I was excited to get breakfast, and I tripped over my dog. Keep in mind, my dog’s tail is very fluffy and thick, and she’s on the smaller side. So I didn’t see her. Especially since she was laying down. When I tripped, I went FLYING down the stairs. When I got to the bottom of the stairs and landed on the floor, which is TILE, by the way, I was screaming and crying at the same time. My sister and dad hurried to my side, and helped me get up. It also hurt to move my arm. Which is when I discovered I had broken my collarbone. And I recovered from it really quickly. But of course, I still have the bump.
This is just like my little cousin (5 year old) And me (9-10) When he hurts himself or something related. I comfort him with a hug. If he tells me its a cut ill immediately get a bandaid and put it on quickly.

I mean, I stepped on something sharp when I was getting a popsicle last Sunday or something. I can relate! I was bleeding and everything, and I now have the nickname ‘Stumpy’ because I hopped on one foot since I couldn’t put pressure on my foot without it causing immense, slightly stinging pain. Edit: I can now walk! My leg is weak, but my other one is strong. Also, Tails was me when I hurt my foot and Sonic was my dad trying to get a closer look.
It is an absolute pain listening to Tails cry. He is still a small fox, and the guy can be a small and weak child sometimes. It sorta makes you feel sad.

In my moms world I got the biggest bruise ever BC I think I was running on plenty of rocks with my friends I think. It was a big circle on my knee it was really bleeding I cried so super loud crying. But I think the year tomorrow ago it was night I used my tablet light just to be careful that's why I got a big bruise. (I was actually in the rocks walking carefully with my tablet light)
Hol up,with the angle at which tails fell down the stairs, the cut would have only been physically capable of appearing horizontally along his right leg. The plaster was also applied sideways despite the cut being vertical so damn guess physics is hacking.
One time I stepped on a Yellowjacket after watching a movie on Disney+, And I screamed at the very top of my lungs like full on horror screams! I cried and cried and I couldn’t walk. My mom wasn’t there to treat it. So my grandmother, aunt, and cousins, helped me treat it by preventing the venom from infecting by skin, putting ice on it, and soaking it in water. This is even worse then my many mosquito bites and one bee sting.
I remember my first scrape. I was riding my push bike and my front tyre hit a rock and I went head over handlebars and landed on another rock. I think the dent is still slightly visible to this day. (for those wondering how i got on a bike so young, my dad was teaching me how to ride a bike at 3 so i could ride a motorcycle effortlessly later on.)

I was bleeding and everything, and I now have the nickname ‘Stumpy’ because I hopped on one foot since I couldn’t put pressure on my foot without it causing immense, slightly stinging pain.
Edit: I can now walk! My leg is weak, but my other one is strong.
Also, Tails was me when I hurt my foot and Sonic was my dad trying to get a closer look.

In my moms world I got the biggest bruise ever BC I think I was running on plenty of rocks with my friends I think. It was a big circle on my knee it was really bleeding I cried so super loud crying. But I think the year tomorrow ago it was night I used my tablet light just to be careful that's why I got a big bruise. (I was actually in the rocks walking carefully with my tablet light)

Hol up,with the angle at which tails fell down the stairs, the cut would have only been physically capable of appearing horizontally along his right leg. The plaster was also applied sideways despite the cut being vertical so damn guess physics is hacking.

One time I stepped on a Yellowjacket after watching a movie on Disney+, And I screamed at the very top of my lungs like full on horror screams! I cried and cried and I couldn’t walk. My mom wasn’t there to treat it. So my grandmother, aunt, and cousins, helped me treat it by preventing the venom from infecting by skin, putting ice on it, and soaking it in water.
