- Rosie O’Donnell says she was never a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during its 20 year run and reveals that she was only asked to come on towards the end. She also says her feelings were hurt when Larry King told Ellen that Rosie’s show went down the tubes after coming out and Ellen said “I don’t know Rosie; we’re not friends.”

I love Rosie, however she can at times come off a little self righteous sometimes. Ever notice how she is always the Hero in all of her stories?

If you are struggling read this~ I know I’m young but I would just like to say that, In 7th grade I was in a very dark place. I couldn’t feel much emotion and I had thoughts of revenge and the other things. But God saved me, He gave me the people in my life and he showed himself to me. Even in my darkest days He was there with me, He never left me. One day while I was in bed I started to pray with my hand go the sky and I felt something holding my hand. At that very moment I knew it was Him. I repent of all of the sins I have committed. I am ready to begin a new life with Him. There is still time go repent love one another and believe in Christ for He will forgive you❤️ He helped me in hard and he will help you too:). Just pray!

rosie is everything ellen pretends to be. rosie is incredibly generous, and always sticks up for any underdog, and doesnt care how things she might say or support look, she just says or does things she believes are right. just look up how she spoke about iraq and trump in the early stages.

Behind the scenes, Rosie O'Donnell is a known bully. I have close friend who worked on the The View. Rosie was a nightmare, and bat sh_t crazy. Ellen is cool - thinks for herself - and brave. The fact that she calls George Bush AND Michelle Obama a friend speaks volumes. The divisive world Rosie (and her ilk) want to live in is destroying the country. *and Ellen is WAY funnier.

I've been watching old Rosie clips from her 90s show and that show was a great time!
EDG is and always has been horrible. Rosie has always been attacked over her brutal honesty but it’s actually one of her most endearing qualities. I get it, shes not for everyone but she is a much bigger person than the other one.
I don't like either one of them but I will take Rosie over Ellen at any moment. She's honest as to who she is (minus the whole Tom thing but that's understandable) and she acknowledges she can be abrasive unlike fake to the core Ellen.

Always have loved her honesty and transparency. Also, Rosie’s performance on The L Word: Generation Q was absolutely incredible. Great comedian and amazing actor.

When you're watching the many uploads of her old show on her own YT channel, like I have, it becomes clear pretty fast that she was in fact the best talk show host of them all.

Omg yes!! Remember when she had that show on MTV every week? The half hr comedy hour. Rosie would do a set every week and it was fantastic. The other comedians would be eh, hit or miss. Ellen literally based her entire stand up personality off of Bob newhart's delivery.. it's a complete rip off. And yet he's hysterical when he does it and she's just eh
Larry King was really clueless sometimes about hugely successful shows. He said to Jerry Seinfeld his show was possibly cancelled and he said Rosie's show went down the tubes. She chose to end her show and walked away from a gigantic amount of money. They were begging her to do more.

He kept calling them different names and David Schwimmer kept having to correct him. It was so unprofessional! Lmao. You can find the video on here. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional Larry was. He got their names wrong several times, over and over. Like WTF.

Firstly, you don’t know why someone else may be in the closet, so don’t judge. Secondly, Rosie was in the closet in the 90s at the same time Ellen was. They both sort of came out around the same time. Ellen became all rude and judgy when she had a talk show and everyone already knew she was out from years earlier. And that’s not even addressing things that happened behind the scenes.
Rosie is a hot mess. Ellen is the more authentic person here, folks. Don't believe Rosie's "nice" act.

I never thought Ellen was that funny or nice on her show. She was usually sarcastic or making a cutting, mean comment. She made fun of an actress for not dating and pressured her into playing an uncomfortable game. It was awkward and Ellen was a bully. Rosie is the real deal and a real talent.

“It hurt my feelings like a baby, and I never got over it.” Honesty is refreshing these days.
I wasn't there and can't render judgment, but I do know that smokiness suggests fire and there's a hell of a lot of smoke swirling around Ellen. What a strange disappointment that she'd make "Be kind to one another" her personal slogan and allegedly treat people so poorly or dismissively.
I worked with an executive for years who lectured and wrote about principles of leadership, nurturing and supporting people, mentoring and how a leader can't expect anything great out of someone they don't support and-of course-her day-to-day actions directly contradicted all of that. Her staff turnover averaged 60% every year. It was insane. Yet, like Ellen, she maintained her powerful position for close to 20 years.

I just heard a quote from Anthony Hopkins. "Don't allow your emotions to overpower your intelligence." That's what Rosie O'Donnell does. She is actually a highly intelligent woman but the rage she holds inside of her sabotages that. I have a great deal of respect for Rosie.
My opinion- The Rosie O'Donnell show> Ellen Degeneres show. Rosie was the template for that type of Daytime show

The older I get the more I appreciate Rosie and the less I appreciate Ellen's "appeasing" way. When Ellen glossed over Kevin Harts non-apology it hit my like a brick and I was done with her.
