Tip for Sarah & anyone else who washes their face at the sink: put scrunchies on your wrists! It'll stop the water from running down your arms/all over the place and it's actually life changing. This video was everything my day needed. Love seeing your daily life, it's so soothing.
having grown up as a poor Mexican in Los Angeles, your tostada snack, made me feel so SEEN. that was a go-to "there's nothing else in the fridge but we're too poor to buy anything, what can i put on a tostada?" snack haha. this is a joke but also a compliment. i loved this video! you taught me so many things. i was taking notes: simple skincare, yes please, mint in coffee, ok. lemon juice on apple slices, must try. thank you!!
As someone with an ED, it's actually really comforting to see a TH-camr eat "real" food and not just salads or iced coffee as their only meals (I do know it can be fine for some but it's triggering for me) and idk it just makes me happy to see a TH-camr eat normally :)
I love this. It's nice to see a day in the life that's more... real. Seeing a routine that's more like mine during this quarantine relieves some of the shame/anxiety I've been feeling about not being productive enough. Thank you. 🖤
Im an esthetician and I also have pretty dry skin. I highly recommend trying out a hyaluronic acid serum under the cream that you use. The Ordinary makes a really inexpensive one that works surprisingly well.
I really love that stuff but there have been a few derms and estheticians saying it’s bad for your skin because it causes inflammation and just temporarily plumps the skin and doesn’t actually hydrate it. They say it’s doing more harm than good. I really like it though so...🤷♀️
@@ccap3211 oh wow I hadn't heard that, thank you for informing me! Hyaluronic acid has the potential to cause inflammation when its at a low molecular weight so ill have to look into what exactly they use in their formulas. HA is always what I recommend for dry/dehydrated skin because, as you mentioned, it temporarily hydrates the skin and allows creams and other acids to work more efficiently. Its basically my holy grail since I have lizard skin lol.
I love that you make a Philz mint mojito at home, there's a Philz down the street from my house so resisting buying a coffee every day is extremely hard! I also really like how you show how normal your life is, it can be discouraging to watch day in my life videos with these youtubers with lives that seem so perfect.
that means a lot to me! I always get anxious filming videos like this BECAUSE my life is so normal and not like most youtuber lives, but maybe that’s the exact reason I should make these types of videos :) and yes making your own mint mojito coffee is so worth it, now if I can just learn how to make a philtered soul!
I had a big fear before watching this that your day would be super structured and you'd accomplish way more than I do in a typical work day. Thankfully the video was super chill and your day looked so enjoyable. Thank you for this. Seeing how productive other people can be really stress me out and make me feel not enough sometimes!
Honestly Sarah I enjoy watching your video's doesn't matter what your doing in them honestly. Watching your video's helps calms me down for example I have seizures in real life and been feeling like I'm going to go into one all day cause of tomorrow cause my anxiety is like way up about tomorrow cause I'm about to move into my new apartment so watching your video's helps.
When you started making the mint coffee, I was JUST about to make MY coffee so I decided to try it out and omggggg.... might be making this more often 🙌✨
I’ve been watching you since 2012 and I still enjoy your videos so much. They’re so calming and relatable. Especially now that I’m slowly going crazy in quarantine, your videos really help. Thank you 🥰💕🌸
Ive been LOVING videos like these and am excited that you’ve done one! I love seeing other people’s routines and good habits during this time so maybe I can implement a few into my daily routine. Hope you’re well!
I am ovo-vegetarian because I am intolerant to the dairy (I use the vegan milk and yogurt) but I still eat eggs and mayonnaise. I can say that your videos are an inspiration. I love your "what I eat in a day" video. They are an inspiration especially for the fact that I am a beginner and I am the only vegetarian in my house and I have to think to myself. So thank you so much.
I love listening to Peter Gundry's music for literally anything, not sure if you could use it in your videos but it's always got a spooky/halloween vibe!
I love this style of video ! So fun. Sara ,reminds me of your Vlog channel . You have a charming aesthetic ! Your "Famous" gourmet tostada is to die for. I need to find that Mexican Crema , yummy :)
thank you for the idea of putting mint in coffee. i pruned my mint plant quite nice a month ago and it's growing out so nice. I'd like to use it more this year.
I love all your content but I LOVE your vlogs 🙌 ! I know you have a history of anxiety but you have a very calming way about you 😊 you are such a delight!! ❤️ also thanks for guiding me to the No Sleep podcast! I’ve been binging it all morning 😄! Keep the vids coming, any content from you is good content!! 💖
sarah please make sure you use a sunscreen too!! retinols are wonderful in skincare but they can also sensitize your skin to the sun, which can actually increase signs of aging over time. just make sure you watch out for that! but as always, love your videos and loved watching your skincare routine! (:
I loved this video!! Not to sound creepy, but I’d watch you do anything lmao! You’re my favourite TH-cam channel. No matter what content you put out, it’s always interesting and enjoyable to watch. 🖤🖤
I’ve been checking your channel at least once a day to see if you uploaded - glad you did! Your videos are so real and calming and so perfect after a long day at work today. Thanks for always-awesome content.
Loved this video and your cats are beautiful ♥️ Very similar daily routine to me (minus the TH-cam bits) A nice chilled introvert day ^_^ Also Sinister is such a great movie.
I recommend the double cleansing method for your makeup removal ! And I think you'd benefit greatly from Cerave skincare if you aren't familiar with it! xx
I did double cleanse! I don’t use a makeup remover, just a face wash that removes makeup so I always make sure to double cleanse. I’ve heard of cerave and wanted to try it but I try my best to stick to cruelty free products!
Def gonna try that breakfast but will prob add refried beans for a little protein. I’m surprised you like using Shapetape as a foundation since you have dry skin. I’ve found that it can be pretty dry and cakey looking on me. It seems like it looks great on you though!
Thank you for actually turning the water off when you're not using it...it irks me when I see people leave the faucet running when they are doing other things. Love your video, been a long time subscriber because you keep it real. Even though you might not think this type of content isn't great but I think it tranquil to watch someone else's day that looks like ours during this time, it feels like we're not alone. Also, maybe a video on what podcast you listen would be a great! (I secretly just want to know the fist one I heard in the the video.) ✌🏽🖤
Loved your routine :) as a long time subscriber, I remember you mentioning before you struggled with hair loss/thinning. I’m wondering if you could do a video regarding some ways you’ve managed to overcome those issues? Your hair looks amazing, and I’m assuming it’s due to more than Function of beauty! Thank you!!
Here’s a way to find copyright free music - go to the Creative Commons and use their search function to find Creative Commons (copyright free) music on the internet!
I have rosacea as well, much more red all over my cheeks and chin. Would you mind letting me know the name of the product your dermatologist recommended? I’ve been to several with very little help or improvement.
I know you said this is a "no judgement zone," but girl... sriracha on mexican food??? Lol. Otherwise your tostada looked delicious, and I really enjoyed this video ;) Also I'd love to see a video where you discuss your favorite podcasts!
sarah calmly putting together a puzzle while sinister plays in the background is such a mood
haha it was very relaxing
So relatable

This video was everything my day needed. Love seeing your daily life, it's so soothing.
Kassidy Rice I finally understand the purpose of those terry cloth scrunches. Absolutely brilliant!
I'm disappointed that I didn't think of this myself
This is a game changer! Thank you :D
it is effective but i hate getting the scrunchie wet too hahaha
pinkish soul lol I guess I just have an abundance of scrunchies so I just use my least favorite ones and leave them out to dry
Omg the “worlds greatest grandma” mug killed me lol!
Sarah: I’m gonna put on a movie. I’m not sure which one...probably one of my comfort movies. *puts on Sinister* this is why I love her lol.
hahaha it’s not really one of my comfort movies but it did sound good at the moment 😂
Sarah Hawkinson omg you are honestly one of my fav youtubers. I feel so happy you replied my comment! ❤️
I had such a bad day and this gives me so much peace
i hope it gets better!

Hahahahahahaha amazing

I can't be the only one wanting that ranch recipe!

This was incredibly relaxing! Would be great to see more of this type of video.
i LOVE watching your daily vlogs & also watching you cook/make things...you give the best ideas for vegetarians
I am ovo-vegetarian because I am intolerant to the dairy (I use the vegan milk and yogurt) but I still eat eggs and mayonnaise. I can say that your videos are an inspiration. Night creams sometimes have active ingredients that make your skin darker if you don’t wear any sunscreen.
This is my favourite type of video to watch! 🧡
