I am confused. why is the apple version cheaper than the regular TS4. Everything looks so identical but Apple sells it cheaper and they called it Thunderbolt instead t4? Are you using it for windows computer? I have a dell xps 13 ( Thunderbolts only) with two monitors that has two USB C thunderbolt connectivty. Can you please let me know if this will support all three displays ( laptop and two monitors)
@@dellenrules I needed more ports than the FusionDock. Also good to have the extra power that CalDigit provides. But the main thing was it was available on the same day for me to pickup 🙂
Yeah. You have a lot of devices connected in your video. Every caldigit device I used was never able to handle the stress I put it through. They would heat up and something inside it would fry making it useless. Caldigit would replace it for me, but 3 months later that would go bad too. I haven’t had the heating issues with the Ivankey Fusion Max. It has more ports than the Caldigit and it is faster providing more power than the Caldigit. Ivankey has 4 downstream thunderbolt 4 ports, 2 USB-C, 2 HDMI 2.1, 5 USB-A 10Gb/s, Optical Audio port and 2.5Gb/s ethernet. Not sure how many ports you are actually using but this is the only dock I need for my 3 monitor setup.
how did you connected the display? Are you using thunderbolt displays? Or just HDMI?
@@rmsyster some thunderbolts and some hdmi

I have a few more ports available to connect more stuff that I use day to day and have some spare. This works best for me and my mac + windows setup.
