We think that because we're so full of it. In some other video's I was shocked to see how much in common we have with animals or vice-versa. The gap between us is getting smaller and smaller. I am kinda looking forward to a zootopia future.

I still think of another possibility: they don't necessarily know that humans are their best choice, but they've been trying the same with other non threatening animals, and none of them understood so they kept asking for help until a human casually came.
I also think so in the case of some of them I think it's just coincidence that people are around that time, but some animals are quite intelligent enough to know what a human is and what we can do like the crow and dolphin they can recognize us so they always attempts to catch our attention.
@@rhyanlumilay6317 Yes, you're right. Some of them have a quite impressive intelligence. I think some of them might actually understand that humans are more helpful, some others were just there at the right time on the right place, and were tired and scared enough to get closer.
It is possible that they will just go tk the nearest least threatning animal. But they are very inteligent (soory about spelling im on mobile). Even the dodo was pretty smart. Chickens also are as smart as some animals like dogs and chimpanzees.
The Fox one brings back memories of when I was younger I was out side feeding our dogs and noticed a baby Fox running into the fence with something on its head and when I walked over it was a peanut butter jar I helped him held him for a minute and let him go he kept coming back over on a regular basis

My one sister had an internship at smuckers in ohio... and she had her own apartment and everything. One day, her co-workers found this 5 week old tuxedo cat outside the building. Apparently the cat went up to the co-workers searching for help, but The co-workers couldn't take care up it. They asked my sister of she wanted to take care of it herself. Overwhelmed by the opportunity she took it in. It slept under the car for safety and comfort outside during the night, and after a few weeks, my mom and I went to pick up the kitten to bring it to our home. At this point, We decided that we were gonna help the kitten out, cause it was abandoned and had a disease. The poor cat made it 5 weeks in the world before it found a nice home. My grandmother often saw a little skunk clearing snails from her garden even while she weeded there. One day she heard knocking on the door several times. She went out on the porch to find the skunk with a jar on its head. She gently wrapped her in a towel and eased the jar off. The little skunk walked away with no threat or fear.

I disagree, they are observant to some extent, the Fox did move close to humans which I've seen before. The reason why is probably that the fox has not noticed that the humans don't represents a threat to them similar how many animals observe other animals as not being a threat. Any woman who takes of her shirt and exposes her chest to the world to save a koala is a true hero and friend of nature. Edit: To avoid gender confusion, I'm female. I simply admire the woman for doing something that I do not think I would have the bravery to do.

Who knows, maybe I would do it if I were put in that situation, however I don't think so. As a young woman, I am very conscious of my chest. People often tease me for it, most saying that it's the first thing they notice about me. Some say I should feel flattered to be called "chichona", but I can't help feeling insecure and want a smaller bust. Because of how I've grown to be very self conscious of my chest, I do not think I would take off my shirt to save an animal. I would probably look for an alternative method, one that wouldn't expose my chest, which already gets a lot of attention. Second off, what makes me an a**hole? "This raven long observed people" - No, that is a young raven. Typically, younger animals have less fear of potential danger, which can lead to interesting interactions with us humans. The reasons a fox might trust a person enough to approach them vs a whale shouldn't be assumed to be for the same reasons or understandings. Given the fox was young, it didn't have that much fear yet of humans. Similar to the raven.
That's not particularly true. There is a family of feral cats in the woods nearby...babies were born in the wild. The parent cats are comfortable around people because we feed them daily. But the babies won't come within a couple hundred feet of people. They're way too timid

I saved a very injured crow, like his wing was broken, he was covered in blood and scratches, missing tons of feathers, could barely walk... saying this to the people who are going to tell me: "well you know, crows live on the ground, they're not all injured." Like yeah I know, but this guy's wing was bent at an angle and he was covered in blood. He was screaming so loud because these other crows were tearing him apart trying to eat him, so I chased them away, and he hopped away from me. I chased him around for like 30 minutes at my college while people gave me weird looks until I was finally able to grab him with my hat. He squawked at me, but he stopped struggling, I carried him all the way back to my car while he kind of just sat there without his feet touching anything. A lot of other students gave me a weird look and asked if it was my pet. Nope lol, he just hurt. I put him with my hat in a box in the back of my car and shut it to give him some privacy, but he bit me in the process lol. I don't regret saving him but man did he make it challenging. He didn't bite me hard and he didn't struggle so he was half-willing, just not fully-willing. Took him to a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation where he made a full recovery and flew far away from those other jerk birds picking at him. I wonder if he'd recognize me if he saw me lol or even if he'd acknowledge that I "saved" him since technically it was the wildlife rescue who healed him and made him healthy again
The other crows were attacking him, because he was sick and weak.. Animals will kill and eat each other, it is survival of the fittest.. Mother lions will eat one or two Cubs, if their litter is to big to feed, or if one is deformed or not developed properly.. House cats will do the same.. So will MANY species of animals.. It is how nature works.. Humans are the odd species, we tend to care for our sick, injured, and deformed.. That's a part of the reason, there are so many diseases and deformities in our species..
from what I know if he got attacked by a group of other crows it might be because of a crime he did(yeah no joke crows have rules and punishments) so maybe he's the jerk, jk;) but thank you for saving this creature's life it so great to know that people like you still exist
If someone throws a lifebuoy to a drowning person its not just the lifebuoy that safes the person. You need someone for the throw. You did save the crow.

it's sad that humans still can't realize that microevolution is the thing, every generation of animals become more capable of understanding its approach to us, and how that will affect how it's day plays out.they come to our Windows during the winter in hopes of getting food or shelter. I'm thankful that hopefully my generation will see the day that animals and humans can coexist on a more open spectrum. I mean for heck's sake, my oldest cat literally knows how to basically talk. All he says is no, mom, dad, food, water. but it's still stands that animals back in the day probably weren't capable of understanding that's how we communicate
@@adamkhan6068 first of all, adaptation (micro evolution) has been observed and proven. Second, macro evolution on the other hand hasn't been proven true with solid evidence.
@@nathan2friendly887 There is a difference between evolution and learning. Animals can learn things but like he said evolution takes millions of years.
@@adamkhan6068 i mean if you talk about a cat developing wings you might be right, but things such as understanding sentences is not a extremely big jump in the evolution since they've been coevolving along humans for a long time (since 7500-7000 bc) so they fact they started to understand us must be because of our constant care (health and a granted provision of food) and social interaction
I once had a bumblebee crash-landed on the window shelf as I was drinking coffee and having a smoke. It landed so hard it made a faint thud. It was making weird buzzing sounds - as if it's vibrating its wing, so I extended my finger and it climbed on it. I looked at the wings and his tiny legs and I saw a small bug, like an aphid lodged in in-between his left wing and his body. I imagined it would be very hard to fly when you have to flap your wings 200 times a second and something nudges you every single time. I was sure the bee is done fore, as there was no way for me to help him, but I gave it a shot. I took the thin, flat pincers from my little Swiss army knife and attempted what seemed a 100% hopeless endeavor. But to my absolute astonishment (to this day as I write about it) the bee got really still. It raised its left mid leg up completely in the air, exposing the underside of the wings. I often have a little shaky hands, but at that moment I was able to safely extract the parasite(?) and the bee instantly flew away with extreme vigor :D I also have an experience with a little duckling, sadly washed far downstream from his momma duck during a heavy storm. It was unreal. Me and my two friends stopped on our way along the stream in a spot I never ever stopped before. We always, ALWAYS just walk straight up the road. But on that occasion I just HAD to stop to take a leak at a tree. I heard chirping and I saw this tiny duckling with its baby fur, just lost and terrified. I didn't want to touch it, cos I heard it may make the momma reject it. But the little one started following me. I have a video of that tiny duck running so fast it was catching up to three guys. It followed us to the pool and stayed in line as we traversed the stream to the other side. There were some kids there, the duckling didn't seem to mind the kids approaching, he even swam around them as they were chilling in the shallow pool where the water wasn't flowing very fast. Few hours later we set home and the duckling still following us. So at that point I decided picking it up and touching it can't do any more damage, so I took him up and carried it the rest of the way and he was happy to just chill in the palm of my hand. I brought the duckling home and upon closer inspection I noticed it has 17 ticks on him - the tiniest ticks I ever saw, but they were already burrowed in the softer tissue AROUND THE POOR GUYS EYES!!!!!! I hate removing ticks, and I never attempted to extract such small ones, let alone from a freaking duck! But never the less me and my mom attempted the "operation". She held him down gently, pushing the plumage away as much as possible as I started taking them out one by one. I kid you not, when I say my hand felt like a solid, mechanical precision tool. My hand was so still it was as it is controlled by a robotic mechanism. I was able to remove all but two ticks, but those two at least weren't close to his eyes. I don't know what I was more surprised about - the fact my hand was 100% still throughout the process or that the little duckling who was always chirping and moving about was completely calm and quiet. Also in the three days it took us to find him a perfect loving new home, it didn't let a single poop in my apartment. Not sure if that's a duck thing, but the little guy wouldn't go unless floating in water. Lastly, not as impressive, I found what seemed a dead bee on my carpeted floor. I wanted to pick it up, but I saw it still has faint signs of life. I immediately went and diluted a little honey in clean water. I gently got the bee in the palm of my hand and dabbed some droplets of honeyed water close to it. Nothing at first, but I was patient and the bee started to drink from the droplets. As they evaporated I kept dripping some more. It took about 10 to 15 minutes. My hand was getting tired and I was sure the bee is just eating up all the food it can, knowing it will never fly again and this is the only way to slightly postpone the fast-approaching death. I was close to giving up, but I kept "refilling" the sweet water, at least I could do is stay with the bee until it died. But that wasn't what happened as at some point the little buzzer got its fill and happily rushed through the window, probably trying to make up for lost time :D Oh, I was just about to finish this ridiculously long post when I remembered a pigeon. One morning I noticed a pair of pigeons on the roof perpendicular to my loft and like 2-3m away from me. One was normal the other had a totally bum foot. I had some nuts and raisins at hand, and I thought to cut the guy some slack, seeing he was struggling on the slope much more than his bud. He was happy to pick up everything I threw at him (had to be very careful or the food bounced off several levels down). Next morning I see that same pigeon - alone this time. Throw the food, try not to think I'm littering on my neighbours' terrace and we go our ways. The bird started coming often, so I set up one of those "feed balls" for birds. Winter passed, I wasn't home that much and the pigeon could still do all normal bird stuff so it must have also found other sources of food. I forgot all about it when next winter the guy lands on that roof again and I swear he was circling on the roof until I opened my window. He looked at me with a glare I never expected from a dumb pigeon and flew straight AT me. I actually jumped for a split second as it seemed he will go inside. He landed within arm's reach and looked at me like "Yo, man! I really need some more of that good stuff!! Got any???" I gave him what I had that wasn't bread and seemed appropriate for birds and he just started coming every day. Pecking tirelessly until there was nothing left to peck. I even have a bad-angled picture of him, just chilling on the window shelf. :D He came back one more winter, but then I never saw it again. Hopefully he found a spicy pigeon senorita and they are living off their pigeon dreams xD

With the Fox, its youth definitely played a role, however, we humans have done similar things when in times of desperate need. A Trapper in British Columbia in the 1800s, fell, broke his leg and was doomed to die. He spotted wolves watching him, and figuring he was going to die any, chose to try and get the wolves to come to him, and maybe help him. He called to them, and tried everything he could think of. the wolves left, he figured he was doomed...until the sound of dogs barking caught his ears. the wolves had gone back to the trapper camp, and lured several of their huskies to the man, which in turn, led the other two trappers at the camp to him. The wolves, being animals, would normally be expected to kill him, especially considering the trappers had likely killed a few of the wolves. There is a theory, not proven, and relies on a less than scientific approach to this whole thing. There is a shared instinct, one that was developed by birds and mammals, and other social species, that pushes them to seek help from any other in times of stress, and another instinct that drives them to help others in those same times of distress. This is why humans who normally dont even like animals, will suddenly jump into frozen lakes to save a drowning deer, climb a dangerous cliff to put a young seagull back in its nest etc. And its also why wolves may help an injured human, or a Hyena may adopt a pair of Painted Dog pups, a honey badger kit, and an orphaned leopard cub (this hyena was a fan favorite several years before her death in the late 80s, and another more recent example has turned up as well) I've personally witnessed a wild fox nursing orphaned kittens, and raising them along side her own kits. Foxes EAT cats. but sometimes, another instinct takes over. Granted this is just a theory.

Any woman who takes of her shirt and exposes her chest to the world to save a koala is a true hero and friend of nature.
Edit:
To avoid gender confusion, I'm female. I simply admire the woman for doing something that I do not think I would have the bravery to do.
@@lofivic0609 what? 😂
First off, I was simply admiring her for what she did. Most women, like me, would probably not do it.
I'll have you know that I try helping earth in my own little ways. After school, I walk around the grounds and pick up all the trash. When going to the stores with my mom, I pick up the trash. If we see a hungry animal, we feed it. My family and I once took in a wounded baby rabbit and nursed her back to health. My family and I are zero waste and do our best to live an eco-friendly life. Hopefully I'll get to do more when I'm older, but as a high school student who has to depend on academic scholarships to pay for college, I'm very busy with my studies and limited to what I can do for the earth.
In case it wasn't clear enough:
-I don't have a homosexual attraction to my fellow women
-"you don't try to help anything" is a false claim and does not stand
-You have no reason to call me "asshole"

These incidents are a drop in the water compared to the prodigious suffering animals experience in nature. Species sharing ecosystems will inevitably intersect, both for good and bad. Humanity’s progress has taken “us”, including miserable sociopaths like you, out of the terror and misery of the state of nature, only to have you sit comfortably in front of your technology with easy access to clean food and water while implying animosity against the very civilization that sustains you. Go live in a state of nature for a bit and see how quickly the natural world will destroy you (and not accidentally, like in these videos, but willfully). The only reason videos like these exist is because humanity as a whole holds the greatest capacity for empathy and ethics.

Wow . Just wow and good job man (:
You need someone for the throw.

it's sad that humans still can't realize that microevolution is the thing, every generation of animals become more capable of understanding its approach to us, and how that will affect how it's day plays out.they come to our Windows during the winter in hopes of getting food or shelter.
Define back in the day. Evolution takes hundreds to thousands of years and still longer.
@@adamkhan6068 first of all, adaptation (micro evolution) has been observed and proven. Second, macro evolution on the other hand hasn't been proven true with solid evidence.
@@nathan2friendly887 Whatever intelligence gained by animal over a generation even multiple is so minute that it doesn’t make a difference.
Love this. Thank you.
Do you want a couple more examples? Yes dude that’s why I’m here.
I often have a little shaky hands, but at that moment I was able to safely extract the parasite(?) and the bee instantly flew away with extreme vigor :D
I also have an experience with a little duckling, sadly washed far downstream from his momma duck during a heavy storm.
But that wasn't what happened as at some point the little buzzer got its fill and happily rushed through the window, probably trying to make up for lost time :D
Oh, I was just about to finish this ridiculously long post when I remembered a pigeon.
He came back one more winter, but then I never saw it again. Hopefully he found a spicy pigeon senorita and they are living off their pigeon dreams xD

We underestemate animals, mostly because WE dont understand them, most animals seems to have a better understanding of human beeings, and a better sense for whos good and not than most humans :) Befriend a raven, and you can trust him thru all his life, can you say the same about a befriended human?
And its also why wolves may help an injured human, or a Hyena may adopt a pair of Painted Dog pups, a honey badger kit, and an orphaned leopard cub (this hyena was a fan favorite several years before her death in the late 80s, and another more recent example has turned up as well)
I've personally witnessed a wild fox nursing orphaned kittens, and raising them along side her own kits. Foxes EAT cats. but sometimes, another instinct takes over.
Granted this is just a theory.
