You have been quite generous!! Just over 3 years ago I was homeless and living on the street. The care packages we got had a roll of toilet paper one wash cloth a small tube toothpaste and a short tooth brush and dental floss. Just other ideas as to what would be greatly appreciated..as I said dental floss...when u have only a couple dollars you can't buy these extras but flossing is so important...also maybe a single Tide for a load of clothes with perhaps one bounce sheet and $4 or $5 in quarters. What a treat it would have been to actually wash a load of clothes...I was scrubbing them in a bucket, squeezing them out with a mop bucket and hanging them between 2 trees. Sister, If Jesus can reach down and save me He will save anyone!! It is those very people that you are helping that will become the most loyal and humble followers of Jesus...most of them, as I was, are broken! Because I was so broken Jesus was able to put me together the way He wanted to and I let Him. Now people don't even recognize me when I see them. What a testimony for our Lord!! You are doing a VERY BLESSED THING!! there are also like phone number cards that list various shelters and food banks in the area...at least they have that here...maybe a compilation of phone numbers of different churches or organizations that actually do help...along with the crisis hotline and suicide hotline number. You also may want to put a few addresses of verses that would bless them and the page number that they can find it...you could even highlight it for them...just ideas...what you have put together is, like I said MUCH MORE than I have seen ANYBODY ELSE do!! May Jesus continue to bless you and your ministry!! I love you Sister! BTW..I now have a job and I have my 12 year old son back with me...we love Jesus for what He did for us!! My 21 year old even gave me some insight also. Praise God that my 2 sons who are 17 & 21 and husband all want to help making the care packages. God has touched my heart two days ago to do this very thing there is a soup kitchen down the street from where I live and so many churches here that do not minister to the lost sheep I started by buying the bibles did not think nothing of it at first till God put in my heart about the care packets and I started to cry as i was telling my daughter of what God wants me to do. she will be helping me I will try and get the church involved but will not wait on anyone to get things done I have also ordered the magnifiers to help read the fine print and I have so much I want to do but all with God's guidance. God bless you sister oh and I found that the online dollar tree sell the kjv of the bible with both old and new testament for a dollar.

Saturday I was driving and passed by a homeless man asking for money and he was holding a tiny dog in his arms, so I immediately decided to go to the nearest Dollar Tree to go get him a few things, on my way I passed by ANOTHER man who looked homeless asking for money and he too had a dog that was skin an bones, so I decided to buy 4 bags of dog food, dog treats, 2 large bottles of water, 2 cans of soup, and a toothbrush! I only have 7 bucks so I couldn't give equal cash to both so I put a little card about Repenting and with a scripture to lookup-- I prayed for them to still be in the same spots and thank GOD they were! Praying for them! I wish I could stock up a bag like this!! Maybe one day soon when I get a job--living off loans and in school right now! lol GOD BLESS YOU!
Christiskingnoble heischrist Praise the Lord for you! What a wonderful thing you have done. It is so joyous when I have gone out and delivered the care packages to the homeless. When I had extras, I would leave a few bags in the car and do the same as you when I saw a person on the street. Just know, you are doing the work of the Lord and He is smiling so brightly by your actions! :)) Unfortunately, I have not been able to continue on the homeless ministry due to lack of donations for the care packages and support. It saddens me greatly, for I developed bonds with the local homeless here. I do continue to visit where they are to talk about Jesus and the Bible. It breaks my heart though I cannot bring to them what I once did. I wish the body of Christ, who are able, would give to help the poor. And to the ministries that are doing the leg work. The Lord has shown me though, the condition of the Church and it is very disappointing. Again, thank you for sharing your leg work for the Lord! God bless you!

Yes, I have been praying that people would step forward and start giving toward the care packages again. THERE IS A GREAT NEED OUT THERE! Yet, I have received emails from people stating they don't have any time to give to the homeless by them. Wow is all I can say. People need to wake up and realize the huge need that is out there for the poor. And stop stereotyping them. I am highly disturbed over this... When I receive messages, I receive them while in prayer. I am in prayer a very long time as I listen to the Holy Spirit. Then yes, I write down what I am receiving in prayer. It is not journaling. What do you mean you were introduced to this recently? I ask cause please be careful that you do not entertain automatic writing. That is from the occult. I do know of some ministries that state they do automatic writing. Please Google automatic writing and discover the origins of such. God bless you!
***** Annie, I will do all I can to help the homeless I see In my community, even if it means gathering a few items at dollar tree to help them out. :) Well, this lady introduced me to it, she recommended to watch and follow this man named "Mark Virkler" and he does this journaling technique. Are you familiar with his work? I was thinking and praying about it and your name came to mind for some reason, so I decided to ask you since I know you receive messages from the LORD and you write them down. Just wanted to understand in the process that you do it. They said you just need to clear your mind of any doubt, and write..then check what you write against the WORD and have other people pray about it as well...but I was skeptical because I don't want it to be my own "nice thoughts or feelings"...its a weird concept to grasp. Maybe takes some getting use to? But I have doubts so far after trying it once :(

***** I will say, it is a wonderful feeling when I was shopping at the dollar store. I had two carts filled up and people were looking at me like I was nuts lol. But once at the cashier I began to tell the kid about the documentary I am doing and that these are care packages for the homeless. All of a sudden people were listening, some asked questions. It was a GREAT opportunity to witness to others and plant seeds. God bless you!

we live in a town where homeless are actually taken to a shelter home with warmth and bedding, and food, no one is in the street here, but i have seen hitch hikers asking for donations at which i go into Walmart and buy 50, worth of supplies as you do here and take them , even if they have their pet with them i buy for their pets this last up to two weeks, it is basic camping supplies

bless you I know the Lord is really doing a miracle here. When I was homeless, finding a place to wash clothes when I did get enough coins was hard----mostly I found some laundry facilities cost 2.00 per load and 1.25 to completely dry. I think huge blesses will occur as they see someone cares
Hi catrina short! Someone else mentioned laundry needs, so I am looking into places in Chicago that will help either with offering free soap or something! I have reached out to Subway, Walmart and the vet and they are donating... so I AM PRAYING God leads me to a place that will help the homeless wash clothes. Amen! God bless you!
Bless you sister. If more christians would do things like this,people would be more willing to listen to the gospel. We need to live out our faith. I just get canned food,put it in plastic bags and hand them out to homeless when I see them on the streets begging for help. It is now Sept 19 and I just saw this for the first time. Not everyone will remain idle.

That is why I put up this video so those that did donate, can see where their gift is going to. :)) Like I mentioned on another video with the new ministry going up there will be a page on it whereas all will see the accountability of this ministry. Meaning where donations are going to. God placed it on my heart to do this. Many do not have accountability pages on their ministry sites and I feel it is necessary. YES, I am very overwhelming thrilled doing this documentary and giving these care packages out. I tell the homeless that yes this came from the ministry but through donations of people who care. The joy on their faces is surreal. All will see in the finished documentary. Yes I am still here at the ext. stay hotel. God will make a way for my son and I to find a little apartment. GodschosenArmy777 Oh goodness no, not done getting all of them. This is a 7 day documentary I am putting together. There is no way to get all the information and see all in just a day or two. Plus the appointments I have and had with Churches and shelters. So I prayed and the LORD said go out 7 days. I wasn't able to head out in the beginning due to my transportation issue. So at $30 per persons care package and taking 10 of them per trip. I am going to copy what I have over on another video and place it up in the description box above. It gives all info and updates. You have some of the best packages I've seen but I will say that you probably should put Tylenol especially in the woman's because a lot of people can't take aspirin due to stomach issues and when you're dealing with cramps that was the one think there's a video on here about women that are homeless to have periods and they were say thing a lot of times they have to decide between tampons and food and I would out I would also say to add a little baggie of detergent so that that they could watch they're under where because they may not have access to a washer and dryer some places around here do what we have one shelter that does wash clothing for them but not at everybody offers that. I would also say the bar soap is not a great idea because it just turns into a gooey mess even if you leave it in a baggie the best thing to have liquid soap and put it in a gallon size baggie just like you do your shampoo that's what a couple of the homeless women were saying when they were talking about care packages and it makes sense and one lady had him emergency blankets which are incredibly thin they literally fould down the credit card size that would be an awesome thing to have and one nice thing but it's really expensive is it that package though so they can heat can stuff up
The Lord has been leading me to do this to thanks to your provoking others to good works! The Lord must increase as we decrease! I got three bags together and have been trying to do this but the weather has been crazy and not allowing me to do this. But I know he has specific people for all three. Holy, Holy, Holy is Our Father who sits on the throne being the King of all!

Hi Cherry pie! I did not know they did not help the homeless in the UK? Wow! With this ministry, GOD laid it on my heart to do a documentary about the homeless here in Chicago. Which I am in the middle of doing. I put together the care packages with the kind donations for this cause to give to those I encounter while filming. The Lord has spoken to my spirit and this ministry will be having an outreach ministry for the homeless in the very near future. Once all is done with the documentary. It has been a blessing like you would not believe meeting such wonderful Jesus loving people! God bless you!
First big thanks for your homeless effort. Not sure where you are delivering these items or to who but a couple things to keep in mind is most homeless have significant dental problems and cannot eat items that require good teeth, such as apples and hard candy. They can usually handle bananas, tangerines and oranges. Avoid giving candy at all. Apparently some addicts will live on drugs and candy, if possible. Don’t give them new clothing, with a few exceptions - socks, underwear, and possibly shoes. Three reasons: 1)Expensive new jackets, hoodies, shoes and similar items may endanger them in areas with high populations of street people, where it is likely they’ll be mugged (and possibly beaten) and lose that new coat you gave them. 2)They frequently sell those items to raise cash to fund their habits. 3)Many do not have access to laundromats. When the sweatshirt you gave them gets filthy, if they can lay their hands on another one, they’ll throw the filthy one in the trash, whether it’s the $1 one you bought at a garage sale or the $30 one you purchased at the department store. Jeff Douglas - Sorry brother I did not see your comment till now (?) I guess I was not notified. Throughout this time I have run the homeless ministry, going on 3 years nows, I rarely run into those with addiction problems. Yes, there are those who do have addictions. Yet there has been a stigma placed on the homeless that is very sad and destructive. Because it does hinder others who are in actual need. As far as giving out bananas for example, one has to be careful because of allergic reactions. Yes, some people are allergic and have reactions to bananas. My own daughter is one of them. I have never given out new clothing. What has come through this ministry through the graciousness of others, is clothes they no longer use. So they send them. And other things such as camping tools to use by tents to make a hot meal. All other things I obtain, I go to the dollar store as shown in this video, to give out. There is a huge problem of homelessness in America. Of course MSM won't show the magnitude of such. They only show the 'bad' stuff, not the single mom living in her car with her 3 kids in the winter months. It is my prayer the 'church' rises up and begins to be more active in taking care of the poor, widows and orphans. Let us also not forget our vets. Too many of them are forgotten, unfortunately. God bless you! How about a "Dry Shampoo" for when there's no water to wash their hair? It's inexpensive and does help until they're able to find a place to wash it. Also, a small pencil sharpener? Do you have any items for children? I'd like to help.

Hi Grenda Joseph I put up a comment above that each package cost $30 and then I put in a McDonald's food card. I asked the Subway near me if they would partake in this project and I was astounded when they immediately said yes! So a food card to Subway too. Also the vet hospital right up the street is donating bags of dog food that I am putting into large plastic bags for those that have dogs. What I discovered was truly sad yet beautiful... that the homeless with animals will feed their animal first before themselves. So going to be giving out food for the animals too. God bless you!

Yes. This is true there's a sister in Christ on TH-cam. She made a video today asking for more donations so that 4 billboards can be put up. In different areas that will broadcast her ministry. Each billboard cost about 3500. God didnt lead me to donating her money because I felt all that money could've went out to the poor. We are living in the last days and I don't see how a billboard is going to get people save. I'm more concerned about the homeless.

Hi R.b.s.r Wilson! I obtained all at the Dollar Tree Store. So, I got packs of pens for $1, combs, tissues. So there is 30 items equaling $30. I have also asked Subway to contribute food cards and they did! I also purchased food card from McDonalds, cause the homeless I talked with just wish to have a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Also the vet hospital right by me donated dog food so I have placed that in big plastic bags for those that have dogs. So yes to have what is shown is $35 per person. And let me tell you, the joy on their faces - priceless. In the documentary, you will see how people are so grateful and overjoyed upon receiving one of these. Billy Leeds Hi Billy! All information is in the description box. Each care package is purchased from the dollar store. Each package comes out to $35 each. I have purchased the Bibles there or at times a Church will donate them OR subscribers have mailed them in. Others have sent to the ministry PO box items they have in their homes they no longer use, that has been highly helpful to give to those in need. In every community, we have the poor. People have written in stating they began doing just what you see here, by putting together their own packages and carrying them in their trunk for when they see a need. Those that are unable to go into their streets, help this ministry go forth and do as we have been commanded to, in the Word to help the poor. God bless you!

So, no I have not had the ability to get to all the emails in my inbox. I pray they have fixed the outages in my area. Cause I do have a message to also upload. Cause right now it is 42 degrees out with rain and the shelters do not open for another month. So those really came in handy to give out! I am trying to get together enough donations so I can purchase some tents I found at wholesale price. Many are not able to stay at the shelters when they are opened, due to first come first serve. Why is it every one of these videos about homeless care packages include a bible? Why not a self help book or a reliable job hunting guide like "What color is your parachute?" Those would be more helpful.
Interesting, you all look at one item, the bible. But you don't see the numerous other essentials provided. Also, this ministry does more than just give a self help book. They are provided transportation to job interviews, doctor appointments, social services, shelters, etc. I don't care what religion they are quite frankly. I care they are suffering.
Oh of course, I don't think the entire care package is being overlooked because of the Bible. Honestly, I think adding the Bible is well intentioned, it's just a little odd looking at it from a non-Christian perspective.

You have been quite generous!! Just over 3 years ago I was homeless and living on the street. The care packages we got had a roll of toilet paper one wash cloth a small tube toothpaste and a short tooth brush and dental floss. Just other ideas as to what would be greatly appreciated..as I said dental floss...when u have only a couple dollars you can't buy these extras but flossing is so important...also maybe a single Tide for a load of clothes with perhaps one bounce sheet and $4 or $5 in quarters. What a treat it would have been to actually wash a load of clothes...I was scrubbing them in a bucket, squeezing them out with a mop bucket and hanging them between 2 trees. Sister, If Jesus can reach down and save me He will save anyone!! It is those very people that you are helping that will become the most loyal and humble followers of Jesus...most of them, as I was, are broken! Because I was so broken Jesus was able to put me together the way He wanted to and I let Him. Now people don't even recognize me when I see them. What a testimony for our Lord!! You are doing a VERY BLESSED THING!! there are also like phone number cards that list various shelters and food banks in the area...at least they have that here...maybe a compilation of phone numbers of different churches or organizations that actually do help...along with the crisis hotline and suicide hotline number. You also may want to put a few addresses of verses that would bless them and the page number that they can find it...you could even highlight it for them...just ideas...what you have put together is, like I said MUCH MORE than I have seen ANYBODY ELSE do!! May Jesus continue to bless you and your ministry!! I love you Sister! BTW..I now have a job and I have my 12 year old son back with me...we love Jesus for what He did for us!! God has touched my heart two days ago to do this very thing there is a soup kitchen down the street from where I live and so many churches here that do not minister to the lost sheep I started by buying the bibles did not think nothing of it at first till God put in my heart about the care packets and I started to cry as i was telling my daughter of what God wants me to do. she will be helping me I will try and get the church involved but will not wait on anyone to get things done I have also ordered the magnifiers to help read the fine print and I have so much I want to do but all with God's guidance. God bless you sister oh and I found that the online dollar tree sell the kjv of the bible with both old and new testament for a dollar.

Saturday I was driving and passed by a homeless man asking for money and he was holding a tiny dog in his arms, so I immediately decided to go to the nearest Dollar Tree to go get him a few things, on my way I passed by ANOTHER man who looked homeless asking for money and he too had a dog that was skin an bones, so I decided to buy 4 bags of dog food, dog treats, 2 large bottles of water, 2 cans of soup, and a toothbrush! I only have 7 bucks so I couldn't give equal cash to both so I put a little card about Repenting and with a scripture to lookup-- I prayed for them to still be in the same spots and thank GOD they were! Praying for them! I wish I could stock up a bag like this!! Maybe one day soon when I get a job--living off loans and in school right now! lol GOD BLESS YOU!

When I had extras, I would leave a few bags in the car and do the same as you when I saw a person on the street. Just know, you are doing the work of the Lord and He is smiling so brightly by your actions! :)) Unfortunately, I have not been able to continue on the homeless ministry due to lack of donations for the care packages and support. It saddens me greatly, for I developed bonds with the local homeless here. I do continue to visit where they are to talk about Jesus and the Bible. It breaks my heart though I cannot bring to them what I once did. I wish the body of Christ, who are able, would give to help the poor. And to the ministries that are doing the leg work. Yes, I have been praying that people would step forward and start giving toward the care packages again. THERE IS A GREAT NEED OUT THERE! Yet, I have received emails from people stating they don't have any time to give to the homeless by them. Wow is all I can say. People need to wake up and realize the huge need that is out there for the poor. And stop stereotyping them. I am highly disturbed over this...
When I receive messages, I receive them while in prayer. I am in prayer a very long time as I listen to the Holy Spirit. Then yes, I write down what I am receiving in prayer. It is not journaling. What do you mean you were introduced to this recently? I ask cause please be careful that you do not entertain automatic writing. That is from the occult. I do know of some ministries that state they do automatic writing. Please Google automatic writing and discover the origins of such. God bless you!

Are you familiar with his work? I was thinking and praying about it and your name came to mind for some reason, so I decided to ask you since I know you receive messages from the LORD and you write them down. Just wanted to understand in the process that you do it. They said you just need to clear your mind of any doubt, and write..then check what you write against the WORD and have other people pray about it as well...but I was skeptical because I don't want it to be my own "nice thoughts or feelings"...its a weird concept to grasp. Maybe takes some getting use to? But I have doubts so far after trying it once :(

***** I will say, it is a wonderful feeling when I was shopping at the dollar store. I had two carts filled up and people were looking at me like I was nuts lol. But once at the cashier I began to tell the kid about the documentary I am doing and that these are care packages for the homeless. All of a sudden people were listening, some asked questions. we live in a town where homeless are actually taken to a shelter home with warmth and bedding, and food, no one is in the street here, but i have seen hitch hikers asking for donations at which i go into Walmart and buy 50, worth of supplies as you do here and take them , even if they have their pet with them i buy for their pets this last up to two weeks, it is basic camping supplies

bless you I know the Lord is really doing a miracle here. When I was homeless, finding a place to wash clothes when I did get enough coins was hard----mostly I found some laundry facilities cost 2.00 per load and 1.25 to completely dry. I think huge blesses will occur as they see someone cares
Hi catrina short! Someone else mentioned laundry needs, so I am looking into places in Chicago that will help either with offering free soap or something! I have reached out to Subway, Walmart and the vet and they are donating... so I AM PRAYING God leads me to a place that will help the homeless wash clothes. Amen! God bless you!

I just get canned food,put it in plastic bags and hand them out to homeless when I see them on the streets begging for help. It is now Sept 19 and I just saw this for the first time. That is why I put up this video so those that did donate, can see where their gift is going to. :)) Like I mentioned on another video with the new ministry going up there will be a page on it whereas all will see the accountability of this ministry. Meaning where donations are going to. God placed it on my heart to do this. Many do not have accountability pages on their ministry sites and I feel it is necessary.
YES, I am very overwhelming thrilled doing this documentary and giving these care packages out. I tell the homeless that yes this came from the ministry but through donations of people who care. The joy on their faces is surreal. All will see in the finished documentary.

Plus the appointments I have and had with Churches and shelters. So I prayed and the LORD said go out 7 days. I wasn't able to head out in the beginning due to my transportation issue. So at $30 per persons care package and taking 10 of them per trip. I am going to copy what I have over on another video and place it up in the description box above. It gives all info and updates. You have some of the best packages I've seen but I will say that you probably should put Tylenol especially in the woman's because a lot of people can't take aspirin due to stomach issues and when you're dealing with cramps that was the one think there's a video on here about women that are homeless to have periods and they were say thing a lot of times they have to decide between tampons and food and I would out I would also say to add a little baggie of detergent so that that they could watch they're under where because they may not have access to a washer and dryer some places around here do what we have one shelter that does wash clothing for them but not at everybody offers that. I would also say the bar soap is not a great idea because it just turns into a gooey mess even if you leave it in a baggie the best thing to have liquid soap and put it in a gallon size baggie just like you do your shampoo that's what a couple of the homeless women were saying when they were talking about care packages and it makes sense and one lady had him emergency blankets which are incredibly thin they literally fould down the credit card size that would be an awesome thing to have and one nice thing but it's really expensive is it that package though so they can heat can stuff up

Hi Cherry pie! I did not know they did not help the homeless in the UK? Wow! With this ministry, GOD laid it on my heart to do a documentary about the homeless here in Chicago. Which I am in the middle of doing. I put together the care packages with the kind donations for this cause to give to those I encounter while filming. The Lord has spoken to my spirit and this ministry will be having an outreach ministry for the homeless in the very near future. Once all is done with the documentary. It has been a blessing like you would not believe meeting such wonderful Jesus loving people! God bless you!
First big thanks for your homeless effort. Not sure where you are delivering these items or to who but a couple things to keep in mind is most homeless have significant dental problems and cannot eat items that require good teeth, such as apples and hard candy. They can usually handle bananas, tangerines and oranges. Avoid giving candy at all. Apparently some addicts will live on drugs and candy, if possible. Don’t give them new clothing, with a few exceptions - socks, underwear, and possibly shoes. Three reasons: 1)Expensive new jackets, hoodies, shoes and similar items may endanger them in areas with high populations of street people, where it is likely they’ll be mugged (and possibly beaten) and lose that new coat you gave them. 2)They frequently sell those items to raise cash to fund their habits. 3)Many do not have access to laundromats. When the sweatshirt you gave them gets filthy, if they can lay their hands on another one, they’ll throw the filthy one in the trash, whether it’s the $1 one you bought at a garage sale or the $30 one you purchased at the department store. Jeff Douglas - Sorry brother I did not see your comment till now (?) I guess I was not notified. Throughout this time I have run the homeless ministry, going on 3 years nows, I rarely run into those with addiction problems. Yes, there are those who do have addictions. Yet there has been a stigma placed on the homeless that is very sad and destructive. Because it does hinder others who are in actual need.
As far as giving out bananas for example, one has to be careful because of allergic reactions. Yes, some people are allergic and have reactions to bananas. My own daughter is one of them.
I have never given out new clothing. What has come through this ministry through the graciousness of others, is clothes they no longer use. So they send them. And other things such as camping tools to use by tents to make a hot meal.
All other things I obtain, I go to the dollar store as shown in this video, to give out. There is a huge problem of homelessness in America. Of course MSM won't show the magnitude of such. They only show the 'bad' stuff, not the single mom living in her car with her 3 kids in the winter months. It is my prayer the 'church' rises up and begins to be more active in taking care of the poor, widows and orphans. Let us also not forget our vets. Too many of them are forgotten, unfortunately. God bless you! How about a "Dry Shampoo" for when there's no water to wash their hair? It's inexpensive and does help until they're able to find a place to wash it. Also, a small pencil sharpener? Do you have any items for children? I'd like to help.

Hi Grenda Joseph I put up a comment above that each package cost $30 and then I put in a McDonald's food card. I asked the Subway near me if they would partake in this project and I was astounded when they immediately said yes! So a food card to Subway too. Also the vet hospital right up the street is donating bags of dog food that I am putting into large plastic bags for those that have dogs. What I discovered was truly sad yet beautiful... that the homeless with animals will feed their animal first before themselves. So going to be giving out food for the animals too. God bless you!

Yes. This is true there's a sister in Christ on TH-cam. She made a video today asking for more donations so that 4 billboards can be put up. In different areas that will broadcast her ministry. Each billboard cost about 3500. God didnt lead me to donating her money because I felt all that money could've went out to the poor. We are living in the last days and I don't see how a billboard is going to get people save. I'm more concerned about the homeless.
Grenda Joseph Well, I honestly don't know what to say lol. I am sure there is a reason for her ministry to ask of this? From the emails I got these billboards do not stay up. They only are up for like a month? People are donating to this? Do they understand how much $3500 would do to help the poverty in this country? Like I said I heard total cost $15,000 for 4 weeks. I don't want to fall into judgment cause only God knows the reasons. I simply shake my head cause I have seen first hand people who HAVE NOTHING. NO HOME. Living on a bench. And we have Pastors on YT flying to different countries whereas there are already Pastors there. Many ministries are making a market place out of the temple of God by selling items. I understand some need to do so to support the ministry. I just don't know anymore. It makes my heart sad hearing all this stuff. People need to SEE and FEEL the love of Jesus Christ and that to me is by one on one interaction and witnessing to them how much Jesus loves us and died for us so we may have eternal life when they submit their lives to Him.

Hi R.b.s.r Wilson! I obtained all at the Dollar Tree Store. So, I got packs of pens for $1, combs, tissues. So there is 30 items equaling $30. I have also asked Subway to contribute food cards and they did! I also purchased food card from McDonalds, cause the homeless I talked with just wish to have a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Also the vet hospital right by me donated dog food so I have placed that in big plastic bags for those that have dogs. So yes to have what is shown is $35 per person. And let me tell you, the joy on their faces - priceless. In the documentary, you will see how people are so grateful and overjoyed upon receiving one of these. I cannot wait to be done filming the documentary to share with you all! God bless you!

Hi Danielle! What is shown in the video is for 2 people. :)) Each bag, one for men's needs, the other for a women's needs. To date, I have had to cut back on what goes in the bags, which are now called "Gracefilled bags" due to lack of support for the homeless, vets and single moms. God bless you!

This pisses me off, Here Obama a biracial man and I thought he would do something for the poor and Annie told me 1 out of 6 are homeless makes me sick, But yet they want us to fight their war's ! I'm on disability myself, But if I don't help in some way the guilt will kill me, It's the poor that help the poor basically, Annie, At the 3rd of the month I can give something and $20.00 a month, If I could do more I would and If my wife get's her back pay from SS, We will donate some more, Do you have a set up where you can take money off a debit card every month ? Billy Leeds Hi Billy! All information is in the description box. Each care package is purchased from the dollar store. Each package comes out to $35 each. I have purchased the Bibles there or at times a Church will donate them OR subscribers have mailed them in. Others have sent to the ministry PO box items they have in their homes they no longer use, that has been highly helpful to give to those in need. In every community, we have the poor. People have written in stating they began doing just what you see here, by putting together their own packages and carrying them in their trunk for when they see a need. Those that are unable to go into their streets, help this ministry go forth and do as we have been commanded to, in the Word to help the poor. God bless you!

Other comment - I finally have full internet back, woohoo!! The video I have up showing all the items that I include, costs $35. All items were purchased at the dollar store. I just delivered 10 care packages last week to those who are homeless locally. In the next video upload, I will be thanking a person who sent to the ministry those heat sheets to give out. Cause right now it is 42 degrees out with rain and the shelters do not open for another month. So those really came in handy to give out! I am trying to get together enough donations so I can purchase some tents I found at wholesale price. Many are not able to stay at the shelters when they are opened, due to first come first serve. Why is it every one of these videos about homeless care packages include a bible? Why not a self help book or a reliable job hunting guide like "What color is your parachute?" Those would be more helpful.
Holy Atheist a Bible goes a long way hunny. if you follow Gods word He'll give you everything you need and everything will fall into place
but what if they're Muslim or Jewish? I think a nice self-help book all people can relate to shows genuine care
Interesting, you all look at one item, the bible. But you don't see the numerous other essentials provided. Also, this ministry does more than just give a self help book. They are provided transportation to job interviews, doctor appointments, social services, shelters, etc. I don't care what religion they are quite frankly. I care they are suffering.
Oh of course, I don't think the entire care package is being overlooked because of the Bible. Honestly, I think adding the Bible is well intentioned, it's just a little odd looking at it from a non-Christian perspective.
ByHisGrace Ministry The care package and help provided is great but why push your religion on someone? Or is it so ingrained in Christianity that you don't even realize that giving away your holy book is pushing your religion?
