- Here is a comparison between Banjo and Kazooie's moveset in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate vs their moveset in both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie from the Nintendo 64.
I hope I didn't miss anything, some of the duo's moves are original like their forward air, up tilt etc. so those won't covered.

Friendly reminder that Banjo's Down Smash should've been the Pack Wack
That would have made sense, but I guess he wanted to make a down smash that hit both sides simultaneously. I was actually thinking pack whack could have been the forward air, if you made it like in Grunty's Revenge where he smashes it down in front of him.

Nintendo should just buy the banjo ip back from MS and make the games themselves. They are way more faithful.
Did you know that it was Rare who made this updated design of Banjo-Kazooie and they are the ones who choose out almost everything for this DLC.
Even Spiral Mountain is based on the one from Nuts & Bolts, but has most elements from the first 2 games.
Rare still cares about Banjo-Kazooie or else they wouldn't have done anything for the Smash DLC.
And other rare ips such as conker

@@genericname4168 There's only one spin-off, and it's a racing game on the GBA. The only other thing they could pull moves out of would be Nuts & Bolts, and I can't think of any good moves besides Kazooie's magic wrench. The original two games are the most iconic and are the most played. It doesn't make any sense that they'd make a brand new moveset instead of using iconic moves for such a highly requested character.

Pretty good comparison, I think you could've shown the forward tilt attack from multiplayer mode having a second player perspective on the first player. Still pretty good to see how close to the original the moves are.

I'm impressed. I haven't played the game so I didn't realize how much of his kit has concrete reference to the original. I figured they just gave him some generic physical attacks in various directions but it looks like every move means something. Super cool!

I was waiting for a video like this, thank you! Though I love the recreation of Banjo I kind of wish some of his moves, taunts, victory animations look like his older model. That’s just me.

Love having them in smash. It makes the game feel more at home. The wonderwing might be just a bit overpowered though, and we're missing a couple of good tunes and a Grunty Mii costume.
His quick nod at the end of his neutral attack in Smash Brothers was an awesome touch.
These two were my freaking childhood! I remember having my own Nintendo 64 as a kid and renting this game alot too from my VideoStore back when people used to rent games in the late 90's XD! I remember playing through the whole game blindly getting all the Jiggy's too. It was fun for a kid my age I didnt care if I kept dying at certain points to me this was fun and entertaining as hell!

Its funny they went with making him really source accurate, but gave him two midair jumps when he only has one in his game. I guess since most of the cast gets a double jump despite not having any in their source games its only fair to give him one more.

Honestly, I think it would have been received quite well if it was marketed as a spin-off, and released after a proper Banjo-Threeie. I guess the devs were just sick of making 3D platformers, and we all know how that went down.

what's weird is that banjo and kazooie were going to be in super smash bros. melee but they were scrapped and forgotten about until earlier this year
This is only a rumor, it only been said that banjo & kazooie would be difficult to be in the roster but is not Official statement about that
