from my own personal experience, ChatGPT is not very dependable when it comes to scripting at all. But since I have been using it for awhile now it has allowed me to start understanding how lua works and it gives me a basic understanding of it. So now I am starting to learn lua through a method of using it in my own games and such aswell as combining what I have already learned about coding. Overall ChatGPT is good for very simple scripts but not super complicated ones. This is because it often gives you the wrong script when you want a complicated one and then you go through this very frustrating process of it giving you the wrong script instead of giving you a 100% working one the first time.
Idk because GPT 4o came out and I wanted to see how good it was so I made a whole game but depending on it and all the scripts suprisingly worked, the trick is to kinda let it boss because chatgpt itself is kind of depended on you when you tell it where to put scripts but if you dont then it will know where you put things but if you tell it that a script for a remote script for example should be in screengui then it will think that its possible but its not so if you let it put anywhere then it can actually think
I got mid scripting knowledge however i don't know how to make scripts from scratch, i only know how to mostly fix/modify them so maybe I can try out Chat GPT and see if it works

chatgpt is not good at writing the script to function but when it comes to combining scripts then chatgpt is GOATED!
