    But if DA increased in the last hypothesis (glutamate) the d2R will be decreased on the gabaergic neuron. So This will compensate the inhibitory signal. Also GlutR on the gabaergic neuron will be upregulated. So it would be solved with these upregulations and downregulations. So, I would think that there should be a gabaR dysfunction. At one time in a life, maybe neurons recieve too much signal. So this leads gabareceptors to dysfunction.

    I thought serotonin inhibited dopamine production and antagonism of 5-HT2A-R can cause a slight increase in dopamine thus decreasing the adverse effects of dopinergic drugs

    • @anfalziar507
      @anfalziar507 ปีที่แล้ว

      there r two pathways for serotonin just like with dopamine , in the mesolimbic area theres hyperactivation of serotonin and dopamin release resulting in post=itive symptoms, in the meso cortical hyperactivation of serotnin induces low levels of dopamine thus the negative symptoms

    Aside from studying Neuroscience, I have worked over a decade with clinical patients. SZ has a late onset. Brain changes can be observed in childhood but the illness will explode only After the age of 20. Many patients in fact are diagnosed in their early thirties. Secondly, bullying and abuse DO NOT cause psychosis per se. And certainly not SZ. They can worsen or anticipate the problem. BUT there's No proven causation. The mental issues related to abuse are instead anxiety and depression.

      Hello, thanks for adding value with the comment. Can we look at this like the children with onset of psychosis are undiagnosed and the condition is seen when they reach their thirties. If someone is bullied and abused there are possibilities of other parallel factors contributing in the development. I totally agree with your experience as I am not a practicing clinician and do not have any patient exposure.
      But I am grateful for your comment. I am open for any further discussion on the topic.

      @@cology9 Only marginally. Psychosis are a universe of their own. Bullying MAY worsen this as any other adverse experience, but relation and causation should never be confused.

    Sir what about Genetic predisposition

    • @markae0
      @markae0 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No genes have been found for a fake disease. No behaviour or misbehaviour is a disease. Jay Joseph has written at least four books. The Gene Illusion (Algora, 2004) The Missing Gene (Algora, 2006) The Trouble with Twin Studies (Routledge, 2015)Schizophrenia and Genetics (Routledge, 2023). BUT Billions of dollars are being made by selling drugs called medicines. "The global antipsychotic drugs market size was valued at USD 15.47 billion in 2022 " So it will continue.

      Let's count the positive things here:-
      1. Even after getting schizophrenic symptoms the thing that is still in your favour is that you know how to use phone and how to comment on TH-cam video that means you can read, write, learn and express your feelings.
      2. That brings to the second point that you are decently educated so you can learn new things.
      3. Now why I am motivating you to learn new thing because the electrical activities in schizophrenic people are higher so it's the choice whether they choose to use that every in being depressed or learning new things.
      4. People thing that schizophrenia is a curse but the thing if a person now how to channelise those energies then it can be a boon as Albert Einstein had also a same type of mind with high electrical activity and he used it to give theory of relativity.
