Nice to see Niagara Falls outside the tourist areas. IMO I think many smaller Canadian cities look like this even without seeing a Harvey's or Swiss Chalet. Sure, Canadian cities still look similar, but I think American cities do have a bit of a different look. Of course, that also depends on which part of the US.
If you're still in the area, Niagara On -The-Lake is a beautiful place to walk

Lol good thing you didnt walk the other direction , i live down town , you would have seen the real niagara , where people cant afford to live or eat , the homeless all live the other direction , i love how people try and paint my city as beutiful yet all our jobs depend on tourism so work half a year then collect unemployment the few moths were dead , ya great way of life here . Its nice to vist but dont think for one molment its a good place to live .....

Historic Drummondville (Main Street and ferry street) is pretty decent place to walk around in Niagara Falls just west of Clifton Hill.
