Thank-you for posting. I love these old Technicolor cartoons. The colors are always so breathtaking. They made beautiful use of the pastel colors available to them at the time. It's really incredible to think that this cartoon was made over 70yrs ago & it's still as great as it was then.

To be honest, the bad guys are usually the creatures who have a good reason for wanting to cause harm. Cats eat birds, spiders eat flies. What is up with these people making the predators be the bad guys when they are simply trying to survive?
Very true, but don't forget that a lot of these cartoons were made shortly after the end of World War II and that the line between the good guys and the bad guys was still very sharply drawn. There's a lot of subtle, more adult humor in these cartoons that kids didn't get - unless, that is, they had a father like mine who went around pointing such stuff out.
