No you don’t need elastic thread, you need normal fishing line, size 0.60 or 0.70mm

I have 4 lines on each side of bag, how to shape it? If I take 2 middle beads it will form 3 beads set when we look from the top. Is it ok?
You can do it like that, but it would’ve been better if it was 5 on each side
That means with 4 sides, your handle will be made with just a pattern of three beads.

Hello for this bag I used 0.60mm. I got one roll of fishing line, I didn’t use all. One roll contains about 100m of line
If your line gets short, what you’ll do is to pass around your line. Follow the pattern back all around your work, pass it around firmly and tightly, you can also decide to tie. Then you’ll cut off the excess line
Then you’ll just add a new line right where you stopped.🤍
How to finish or sew the line after the base to keep it firm ???

Oh the sides have to be an odd number, either 5 or 7, if not the shaping on the sides will be affected

What is the difference between a bag made by the knotting method and the bag made by this method ?
Well there isn’t much of a difference. It’s just a matter of preference, some believe that a bag made without the knotting method will collapse, but that’s not true.
This method works well for me and is very durable too. Just do whatever method you’re comfortable with

Well it depends on the quality of beads. These ones are faux Pearl, they last for a long while depending on how well they’re maintained. But yes eventually, they’ll fade overtime
Then there are higher grade of faux pearls, those ones are a bit heavier than these, and they last longer.
