You already did. I've gained so much from this series. Inspiration, motivation, happiness, confidence, faith, realization about what's important. I'm forever thankful and grateful to Sorachi-sensei for creating something that helped so many people, that saved so many people and that connected so many people. I will always cherish this series and everything I've gained from it. I'm also thankful to you, Recon, for sharing your journey and bringing us all together with your videos and bringing new people into this series. I'm truly happy to have been alive to witness this masterpiece. Be Forever Yorozuya. My eternal GOAT, Gintama.

This was the best arc we could ask for. I'm really happy about Sugi's fate as well. The ending with Tama caught me by surprise but I honestly love it.
I'm still not ready to say goodbye to my favorite series. But as you said, I only see it as a "see you later" and not a "goodbye". I'm sure it'll come back one day. Until then I'll keep reading and watching Gintama over and over again. This is my favorite series of all time. A big part of what made me, well me. And it also helped me find so many great people. Like you Recon, one of the most genuine fans I've seen.
Thank you Goatama, greatest anime/manga of all time. Thank you Sakata Gintoki, greatest character of all time. And thank you Sorachi, greatest gorilla of all time (and the greatest mangaka).

Do you also think that this baby Matako found is Tagasuki? If yes i think the same and it would be great if he is really alive. Hm but Takechi sad there is no chance that he will be resurrect again. Maybe it was a Miracle

This felt so much like Sorachi was talking not only to Tama but to his readers as well. It hit me so hard because Gintama has done exactly that for me. It taught me how to laugh when things are hard. Gintama has helped me through so many low points. It hits me so hard knowing that this series has officially made its mark in history and for all current and future viewers, it will break through those panels and always be there to wipe away our tears :' )
There were so many emotions in this last chapter, and I had to re-read it a few time to understand everything.

It took me a while to understand the whole time-skip was Hasegawa's fake final, the future hi-tech Tokyo scene broke into pieces because it was a fake, and Tama was back into the right timeline with the Yorozuya.
I cried at Shouyou's scenes every time, so heart breaking and beautiful. It's sad that he suffered his whole life from immortality, but when he truly wishes to have more time with his students, he died. It reminded me of Hohenheim, damn TT. I had really hoped he survived and at least had a few peaceful years with Gintoki and Katsura. It really hurts when you think how Katsura must have felt when Shouyou entrust the evacuation to him, that face he made when Shouyou told them to live really hurts, Katsura loves Shouyou almost as much as Takasugi and Gintoki.
Of course, Shouyou's final moments with Gintoki hit home as well. After seeing Shouyou die once again, Gintoki lost his smile and got drunk almost daily, and only started to get on his feet again when Sakamoto told him about how Shouyou had protected them and how he is still watching over them. Frankly, I'm sure Takasugi's rebirth was Shouyou's doing as well. Sakamoto stated that quite clear: It's not a miracle when a master protect his disciples, it's only natural.
I'm still heart-broken that Gintama is over, such a wonderful manga.
Thank you sorachi for blessing us with this series. Thank you gintama fanbase for being the best fanbase in the medium. And thank you recon for getting me into a series made me laugh me absolute ass off while teaching me so many lessons along the way. Ill cherish the experiences ive had with this series for the rest of my life

Ur positivity and raw emotions always put a smile of my face whenever i watch ur videos.
Gonna miss all the characters from the series and it's was an amazing ride.
I discovered Gintama through my best friend and she would always pester me to watch it, it wasn’t until she passed away that I decided to give it a shot. I was amazed at how beautiful the writing is and how well developed the characters were. Life is harsh but you can get through it. The number one thing that I find whenever speaking to another Gintama fan is that they interpret some things differently based on their experiences, another is that they enjoy not just the funny but the serious things as well. I find it beautiful that everyone is reading the same thing but getting different meaning from it all, to be able to write something like that takes talent. I thank Sorachi sensei for never giving up and writing this masterpiece.
Gintama made me into the person I am now...for that I’m very thankful for Sorachi
I told you in the previous chapter video that I would be there for the final chapter in June and here I am.
If I had to resume this chapter shortly, it would not take me much time to think about what I should say because.. the chapter already said it for me : " Yup, same as alway. That might be the best phrase you could use to describe us. " This chapter was nothing special, it was just Gintama being Gintama. Very happy for all characters and especially for Takasugi's second chance in life and Tama's awakening.
Thank you Sorachi for this godly manga and thank you once again Recon for helping to get me really invested in the manga back at the Shogun's Assassination Arc ! Being able to spend this journey with an incredible fan like you was truly great. I also believe that it's not a " goodbye " but a " see you later ". One day for sure, we will all come back to Goatama.
Once again man, thank you for getting me and a ton of other people into this series. I remember in 2016 I would always see you going crazy in my sub feed talking about some “Goatama” every other day, so I decided to finally give it a shot and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Easily my favorite series of all time. Thank you Sorachi for providing us with the greatness for 15 years, and thank you Recon for spreading that greatness. Until we meet again, in Gintama Shippuden.
I cry everytime when I read last chapter... But thank you Sorachi for such a great story and characters! Gintama will be forever in my heart and I hope to see more Sorachi's stories ☹️❤️
Just one last thing:
Don't be sad it ended. Be happy that it happened. Plus I'm sure Gintama will come back one day.

I can't stop simultaneously laughing and crying. This ending was everything I could have asked for and more. Thank you Sorachi, and thank you Recon for contributing so much to our enjoyment of the GOAT series.
I hate that I was too busy to catch this stream, but I refused to read the last chapter without the King. Cant believe the journey is really over, but it ended in true Gintama fashion. Yorozuya Forever!

Funny thing is I read the chapter so many times but I'm still not sure if the ending is supposed to be really in the future or if all of the timeskip thing was just Hasegawa feeding false data to Tamako. Things break down after that scene and Gin directly talks to Tama. So maybe the timeskip was all fake. Maybe Tama did wake up only a short while later. I honestly want to believe that version because otherwise it would be too sad for Tama.
Of course it's like that, it's like what happened with Mantama, it was all an illusion in Kintoki's data
It was all a sham ending by Hasegawa lmao. That scene from Tama's POV of his sham ending shattering into the reality of the yorozuya running through edo was beautiful.
Well yes actually, thats not the future. Its present. Tama wake up at the same time as Gintoki Kagura Shinpachi and all those chara lives. I mean its not a bad or sad ending. Its happy, very happy ending. Gintama being Gintama. They troll us in the last half panel. Masterpiece. Sorry for my bad english.
