Those drywall lifts are a must. I wish I'd had one when I built 2 rooms on a ranch I owned. I used a 8 ft step ladder & made a "T" from 2 pieces of 8' 2X4. I put one end on the ladder & raised the other end with the "T" then wedged it up against the rafters. I hung both ceilings & walls by myself. Of course I was 40 years old back then. When you get it all hung it will start looking like a home. Oh yeh I hated taping drywall. I did a lot of sanding lol.
Was watching South Main Auto Repairs latest video How to Fix a Car Battery that Dies Overnight and at the end he did a white board explanation and over on the right side of his board was a decal of your channel and name. Well, Mr. O is my car repair guru, and if HE likes you, so do I. I am now subscribed.👍👍
Having the right tools for the job makes sheet rock work go much smoother. Way to go !
I try to get tools that make the job easier and it's a lot cheaper than hiring someone to help ;)
I really liked the video 👍👍👍
Thanks!

I've used the T myself in the past and when I saw these lifts, I knew I had to have one ;) I think we're going to hire someone to finish it :D
@@farmboy30117 I'm not sure if they had lifts back when I did my home. Smart move on the finishing. You'll be glad you spent the money.
Having the right tools help a whole lot.
It sure does!
The house is really coming along looks great
Thanks!
your hard work is paying off!!
Thanks! It's starting to look like a house on the inside ;)
I'm currently remodeling our bathroom in our 1851 house, It's only taking 2 month longer then expected lol..
LOL, it always seems to take a lot longer than we think it will ;)

Thanks Sam! I also have a channel more dedicated to auto (and shop) stuff called farmboy's garage if you want to check that out.
Looks like a lot of work even with the lift. I remember working on my camper and going up and down a ladder all day. Not fun.
Yeah that climbing up and down wears my back out!
New sub from south main auto’s white board lol

Thanks!
