'afterlife' was just awesom!! i'm listening this truck everyday since i've hear it. but this truck is just correct. not bad, but without fireworks... i hope that next hit from metalite will be more expressive - just like their first truck. i'll be waiting.

Loved Afterlife very much, this track sounds really scratchy and pitchy. Like the sound is not right I can't quite explain it. Was kind of hoping for something similar to the first track.
It's all in the studio mix. The band can kick total ass but it comes down to the producer and who is doing the mixing. Sad, so many good bands sound bad because of some dumbass behind the board!

Opening with the refrain, eh? For a total of 5 refrains? I thought that was a bit much, I realize this genre lives off of refrains but the rest of the song was definitely a bit weak. A couple of really clunky lyrical lines, like trying to cram too much stuffing inside a turkey and lastly a couple of quite primitive riffs that felt 'cheap' if you'll pardon the expression. Yeah, there is a chromatic tidbit in the song that felt really insulting and on top of that I believe 'Afterlife' had a similar chromatic run that always stabbed the eardrum, no? If 'Afterlife' was an A, which it was, then this song is a C in my estimation. All of that said, I have definitely not lost my interest in hearing the whole album.
