@@valencia9981That’s because saying a Black person is “articulate”, “speak well”, are “smart”, etc are usually a micro aggression we deal with from non Black who are usually “surprised” by it, because they don’t think any of us do or are… because they are inherently Anti-Black and racist. But in this case I definitely see that your comment was a compliment of the little girl, because she is a little girl, and it is very impressive for someone that young to understand context, content, gaslighting, Anti-Black racism, etc.

Can I say, that 1st grader articulated her experience perfectly, my heart y'all, my heart...😭 The fact that this is the story I heard from such innocents, brought me back to when my children was in 1st grade, yeah, that's about when racism was introduced to their lives via the school system. My mom {RIP} watched my children while I worked my 2 FT jobs. So exposure to others were only trusted individuals, black, white, asian, hispanic, etc., didn't matter, only trusted was the qualifier {I say only but that was a tall hill to climb, that few achieved}. All of my children got virtually punched in the face by someone they thought was their friend. Speaking all good things about said child. Yeah, but, one day, out the blue, they'd come home teary eyed, talking about being called "N", ugly, stupid, terms grownup dgaf about, especially these days, coming from a child the same age as mine, with no teachers interaction unless I showed my face {I did pop-up, no notice, just showed up, signed in, my right}. Fortunately, my son's had good YT bestfriends who stood up for them instantly. They're friends to this day. My girls & I however, have experienced betrayal instantly with 'so called YT friends' {only one lasted 30 years, I love her, so do my children.} Racism is taught early, so we need to prepare them early, unfortunately. Now I have granddaughters & sh*t ain't changed, Lord, help us, please... #PrepareOurChildrenPrepareOurFuture

As for Amanda Seales, I did not watch the interview, I saw clips. That woman has a platform which is speaking out for, educating on, and calling out injustice to the Black community daily. If you're talking to someone who is not believing you and questioning you on everything, would you not become defensive? A yt guy had to go on his show and say to his face he DOES NOT protect Black women. Her shield was up because several news publications (our people) were attacking her for idiotic reasons. If SS had not been doubting almost everything she said, AS "defenses" would have crumbled. She was not in a safe space.

She was defensive with him asking normal questions. A person who is not living life through their lens of hurts would be able to answer the first question normally. She was on edge for everything. She should probably not have taken the interview.
I said it is more innocent when young but not that racism can’t ever be vicious for children.
Children do learn from their parents and I did explain that I think this was the one area he was incorrect on.
But yes from what I have seen the racism of children isn’t as intense as adults because they are just learning those things and it hasn’t fully penetrated their hearts usually. But of course yes children can be racist.
I don’t know much about Amanda but after watching the interview I just saw her as a woman on edge due to her past experiences. I feel she should continue in therapy to overcome because she is seeing things through a hurt lens. She won’t be fully happy auntie she better manages her past hurts. I don’t think she’s a bad woman but she feels she is a victim for almost every situation.
For every instance the other person was the villain in her life whether it be colleagues, group members, etc.
It’s very hard for her to speak about anything in a positive manner.

The irony in everything you mentioned because this describes them in one sentence. Everything you mentioned in that sentence actually describes them. Black people actually taught them how to bathe, their hair smells this explains why they wash it daily, we are NOT violent because their history prove their violent tendencies, Hypersexual- WW and WM do the unthinkable to themselves and animals, we learned to hide pain during slavery, yes they lust for us but to ashame to admit it, and on top of that would rather be with us but don’t want to disappoint their lineage. They are a disgraceful group of people in my opinion.

It shouldn't be sad that in 2024 racis💪🏾 is still around 🙄🤷🏾🙄. We hav ben dealing with it for centuries. Whats sad is that in 2024 WE collectively havnt done anythig about it apart from constantly complaining about it!🙄🤷🏾🙄😡 When are black Americans going to understand that working together, collectively is the only way they'll get their respect. This lamenting is getting tireing. Aint you tierd???💪🏾💯💪🏾💯❤️🖤💚😡

I wish people would stop saying what they would do in these type of situations you DON’T know what you would do until it happens to you. Listen to how the principal or whoever is talking you her???? How far would she have gotten if she would have went up there and acted out? What would that have done???

I don’t think that the Mom or whoever she is that tells us to read the good book 📖 and saying that we are all created equal, I don’t think she reads or maybe she doesn’t understand the Bible!! That’s another one of their lies! This is what the Bible says about superiority and it ain’t got nothing to do with equality either!
“For thou art an holy people unto Yahuah thy Elohim: Yahuah thy Elohim hath chosen thee to be a SPECIAL PEOPLE unto himself, ABOVE ALL PEOPLE THAT ARE UPON THE EARTH. YAHUAH did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: but because YAHUAH LOVED YOU, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto YOUR FATHERS, hath YAHUAH brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.”

Did the mother go to the school or did she just make a video? Cause I go straight to the source. I’m not walking around asking random white people what they 🤔 think. If she went to the school and they told her the same crap then she should Google Education Advocates and they may be able to assist her better in knowing the LAWS regarding discrimination she should file a UCP complaint with her school district and bubble in the appropriate boxes and tell the child’s story. She should do this in a timely manner. I don’t have conversations with bigots in 2024 in regards to school. We have laws exercise them. I’m doing it right now. It’s a lot of writing but I have filed a complaint with all agencies…to the US Dept of Education Civil Rights Division, and the Dept of education of my state. If you are Black and Genx late Boomer generation you did the hard work of integrating hostile spaces. Please exercise the laws that have been created it’s the only way to deal with these people. Every child deserves a Free and APPROPRIATE Public Education and that’s on PERIOD. Co-signing racist antics by diminishing the act creates an inappropriate environment for learning. And, that’s all that matters. Because whoever the Admin was this lady was speaking to doesn’t care and is annoyed by the line of questioning. She NEVER spoke with the offending child’s parents. Why Not??? Why not have a impromptu but appropriate assembly regarding how to respect our classmates differences and bring that conversation into the classroom. You’re not just teaching the subject you are teaching how to be good citizens. And, that starts with respect. Most humans are not born intuitively understanding respect. Humans are activated by desire and impulse. Respect and patience MUST be taught.

This subtly reminded me of a comment I saw yesterday about Kelly Rowland from destiny’s child. In a photo of her speaking to an usher at an event, people were disrespecting her stating she is in the wrong without caring about the context (it depends on where the post came from because on certain posts she was supported).
Well, on the posts that did not favor Kelly, someone who te talked about her physique- that she looked manly (you know that’s what white people try to say about black women). Then a white man responded stated she must be following after Michelle Obama.
I mention this to say that my immediate thought was “I am shire many people would say that it wasn’t racist.” However to people who have common sense, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Obama have nothing to do with one another besides being black American women. Lol
    People sicken me
