On my first night in Singapore, I decided to stay in a space pod to see what it’s like, and here’s a tour of the space capsule pod. I didn't know what to expect from a capsule hotel but this was quite an experience! The whole place gave me such a futuristic, Star Wars vibe and I couldn’t even imagine such a quirky accommodation to ever exist! Watch all the way till the end to know more about the price, lockers and storage, toilets, and other facilities. The one I stayed at is called MET A Space Pod and is in Boat Quay.

Capsule hotels are basically popular in Japan and other Asian countries and are a type of hotel that features a large number of small bed-sized rooms known as pods. Honestly, the pod turned out to be more spacious and comfortable than expected, and I had a really nice and comfortable stay. I didn’t feel claustrophobic at all (for everyone asking), and it also helped that the hostel was located in a really nice location (Boat Quay).
Highly recommend staying here just for the experience! It’s super cool. :D

I stayed in a pod hotel when I went to Mumbai for the IIT-B fest and it had a futuristic space kinda theme too! It was in Saki Naka area I think. And I loved the concept. A feasible option for solo travellers

This kind of things are in Mumbai as well named Urban Pod.That is India's first pod hotel.I stayed there last year,charge was very cheap,Rs 450 per day.Urban Pod is in MIDC Andheri East.

Yes I have been here like literally the same place and it was amazing once in a lifetime experience every should try it, it is very clean and adjustable 💯

Instead of putting one room in ones house up for rent. One can convert that room into a capsule motel with its own bathroom/shower and kitchenette with boiling water to make noodles. I would suggest putting a vending machine in the same space with various forms of instant "just add boiling water" meals and beverages as well as for a few things like a tooth brush and Soap for people that forgot and then advertise the capsule motel on air B&B. . . Vending machine accomodation :)

Hello.. Im your new subscriber...We r planning to go to Singapore... Can you please tell me is this pod hotel suitable for couple? I mean is that includes double bed or only single bed?
They do have double bed pods too and if you wanna try out the experience, then go for it. But I think a hotel would definitely be more comfortable and will probably be a similar price for a room.
So scary! There is no window inside and feels suffocating. Yeah, cost effective.
